What we need after this is animation of entering/exiting vehicles, the ability to use the doors for cover, and the ability to listen to the enemy talking... that would be SICK

I know it’s such a tiny detail…. But at 1:18 when the glass shattered from the nade and you could hear the stuff hitting the ground and see it get blown away…… that was just INCREDIBLY immersive and is one of the reasons I love this game
This playtest I had some of the longest, most engaging, and fun firefights. And alot of games ended up going very back/forth and ended with less than 50 ticket difference, I even got 3 games with less than 10 ticket difference in a row. Fucking spectacular.

I was thinking that a late Cold War gone hot mod would slap with the ICO. More or less same weapons/older versions of weapons and vehicles already in game for US & Rus, but slightly less tech and almost all iron sights.
No one wants old shitty guns its been done a thousand times already get over your cold war and ww2 trash. We need futuristic shooters wit new weapons and guns not old recycled trash
If you're wanting to get into this game, now is the best time. Since the update dropped, everyone seems to be on a more level playing field, including the veterans of the game.
Every time I play squad. Everyone roams around like clueless timmys and no one wants to listen to orders. So I never get to experience what you show here on RU-vid.
Just gotta go to a better server, or lead your own squad and learn how to take control of a group of people. Just takes time to understand how to convince people to listen to you.
I don't understand what they did to the guns. It feels like everyone in the game has broken arms now and can barely control recoil or aim the gun around. It's like all weapons are being held on stretched arms or something xD Would make sense because they can't even hold the sight picture together
Welcome to realism. This isn't call of duty and guns irl have recoil. This will make gunfights awesome instead of getting beamed at 500 yards constantly.
@@jamesspencer769 I have been deployed for over a year... I've come back home half a year back. I think I know a little more about guns in combat than you do. And trust me, the older version was far more "realistic" than this.
@@jamesspencer769 the only thing they had to change to get realism is the bullet spread/accuracy of the guns. And maybe the way scopes work. Recoil was fine as it was (even a bit exaggerated)

I started playing this game a little more than a year ago and have already played a bit more than 700 hours. For me Squad used to be a unique game that had taken a tactical component from such games as ARMA, dynamic gameplay and skill dependence from the games like Battlefield and CoD. It was a kind of golden mean. To play and win, you had to shoot well, use your brain (tactics) and necessarily communicate with your teammates. I started investing my time in training my aim, other skills and learning the basics of other game roles. After that, I joined a competitive clan in order to try my hand at competitive Squad and further explore the tactical side of the game. Communication in competitive Squad is much better than on public servers with random people (this is quite rare there). Being a part of a competitive Squad team, I was able to feel perfect symbiosis of tactics and shooting (just to remind, Squad is a SHOOTER). It’s a pity that many people don’t like and don’t understand this. Yesterday, you pushed an update that destroys shooting gameplay completely, making it totally non-skill-dependent (it used to be something special in this game; this was the thing which made Squad unique). Now ARMA side of the game gains the upper hand. People sit in the bushes because otherwise they won’t be able to hit anyone. People lie down in the middle of the road in order to try to shoot in some way, but they don’t succeed either. It is unlikely that updates of this kind will improve communication. If previously a teammate ran far away from his squad, now, on the contrary, he will simply stay at one place alone. And nothing will change. You destroyed the shooting and turned Squad into a slow, tunnel simulator of sitting in the bushes with a hard 10-second blur due to bullets and shells flying nearby. You killed a game that many loved for its uniqueness. RIP SQUAD 27.09.23 #RevertTheGame
wtf is this aiming/scope system is horrible who made this never shooted a gun in real life, this game will be more like shooter darksouls, rising storm 2 aim/scope got a realistic system, insurgency sandstorm got a realistic aim/scope system, and arma 3, but this is over the exaggerated, maybe i m just crying idk

I don’t understand how you can say it’s fun when you don’t hit nothing from 5m makes no sense for me and don’t come with we want to make the game slower or it’s realistic … it’s pretty far from realism and also not fun tbh I like the idea of it but not the work they did
Ok since comments are getting deleted 🤣… it would be a better way to pay 3-10 dollars or euros or pesos for a paint n spray job for our weaponsystems instead of putting in cheap hand signs to contribute as a „sign“ to the dev team. I think 90% of all squad players would do it. And not nonsense like goofy handsigns like PUBG ..
