Love seeing new people get in to 40k. Slight correction though, the Space Marine's gene seed doesn't come from the emperor, it comes from the Primarch of whatever legion they belong to.

@@delos2279 This game has both perfect dodge and parry systems in it. Panic dodging will only be needed if you don't wanna learn those even against the big boss. It isn't only blue attacks that can be parried but any attack that isn't a red attack.
It was so frustrating watching that!! That and hearing them complain about the lack of ranged weaponry in their loadouts as if they hadn’t just chosen the only two melee-focused classes in the game

to be fair, i made that mistake allot when i first started playing games like dawn of war. till i found out what a terminator with assault cannon was. god emperor himself needs atleast one mission with those bad bois involved.
I'm still in shock at how good this game looks, and everything about it just screams 'passion' from the devs. The armor customization alone has already sold me on Space Marine 2, but the gameplay, visuals, sound design, audio mixing and attention to detail still has me in disbelief!

Yeah talking about "Astartes" nope, they took him (more like grabbed him in the bag mafia style) and we never hear anything about Astartes 2 ever again. Now he's directing animation based in Brave New World book called Huxley. Also fuck GW for torching like 60% of fan animators

I think people expected like 45 minutes of similiar footage to come out, and for them to lean mega heavy into that style, and to make it a part of their brand and media, that they were working on portraying. A mini series, or several episodes of something grand, trailers and novelty of the unmatched detail he could "just do". He was gone, for like, forever. If you hear he got hired, thinking there are 15 peeps working with him on it, and /or thinking he has a big time say in production is very normal. " he worked on several projects for GW, including the trailer for Chaosgate: Demonhunters" is pretty close to pouring some concrete one day a week for 4 hours, laying 30 bricks a day, and saying you are one of those who built that house. You are not wrong, yeah. What were they doing, though. Astartes was that good because he made it so. The well done, but comparably uninspired cinematics just aren´t comin´ from that noggin´. It is not unreasonable to call him a genius. Really good cinematics with some flair that try to stick to some oldey form aren´t up to par at all. I just think it reasonable to think LOTR is pretty good, so not just any watchable fantasy is really close to equal in my eyes. People not really as good as he is have done times more positively shocking and uncompromising cinematics. Most people who make The Good Hollywood CGI are way less capable. He is one of the greater among the best that are about none in the whole industry, or one of the greats outright. Where is the quality stuff? The guy is a whole level above "excellent" as can be said without shame. Surely, something is there. Guys Way above your "good" creator or artist, can look up to him with admiration. So, WTF was really going on?

Man, the Space Marines does not have the full DNA of the Emperor, Space Marines have the DNA of their Primarchs, the only people who DOES have the DNA of the Emperor is the Primarchs beceause they where designed by the Emperor using his own DNA, later the the gene-seed was developed by the emperor using the 20 primarchs has template ( in the 30th millenium) has each Space Marines are under a Primarch, this is the reason they call themself Battle-Brothers. Now in the 40k universe the Primarchs are mostly all dead and or Presumed lost or Inside the warp obeying to the Demons, theres a few that have been found like Robute Guilliman (The UltraMarines has the blue boys) and if my memory serves right there is Lion El’Jonson.

In lore they are so fast despite the armour they literally inspire transhuman dread in non enhanced races because nothing that big and that tough should be so quick and precise

0:50, while you are *****technically****** correct, in that the geneseed is from the Emperor, all regular space marines are made from the geneseed of the Primarchs, which (this is where the technically comes in) do come from the geneseed of the Emperor
Remember, this is only early access, and in my opinion, it looks (and probably feels) better than some games that are already fully released. Not to mention the amount of customization is nice, and this is only the first video we've seen, I take it there's more weapons in the game to play with. In other words, I am really looking forward to playing it if it comes to a gaming system I have, which I do doubt

Bringing the best aspect of the fucking hobby to the games is always a good idea. Makes me miss the Dawn of War army painter, i rly neeed to get back to that game someday.

@@zergrush_9704 spoiler for the book, he didn't killed it, he just parries all the blows, then shed of some of the armor. When the time comes, his assistant slips in between the attack and shoot point blank with a melta gun.
@@zergrush_9704to add onto what the other guy said, Ciaphus is also genuinely one of the best chain sword duelists in the imperium. He can't physically beat something that big for obvious reasons, but he's good enough that he can hurt it and survive for long enough for his friends to finish whatever baddie he's going against.
@@syrusalder7795 this is true, on a friendly spar, cain was able to score a hit against a fully power armoured marine. When it comes to life and death duel, he was able to hold his own against a khornate berzerker two seperate times in the books, goes toe to toe with a slaneeshi daemon prince. Man was such an accomplished swordman the majority of imperial officers backdown when he even suggest they duel with him.
@@manhphuc4335 it certainly helps that the khornate berserkers in question were roidraging at the time and prefer big overhead swings. their predictability gives him the chance to redirect their blows. doesn't make it any less impressive though

@@eeruur do you not understand what melee centered means? That's when the primary is a melee weapon, even better if you have another melee weapon or one that isn't a ranged weapon, for example the shield
Erm the VI stands for 6th company close support not 6th legion because the legions haven’t existed for 10000 years and are instead the number designation stands for company’s within codex complaint chapters. (10 to be exact the first being veterans and the tenth being aspirants and scouts) just providing some lore
I do have to appreciate that. This is basically a complete game but they’re holding onto it to make sure they get as much as possible before they release it.
If you get the chance play the 2011 game it's helluva game TBH though it's only available in single player now it's still a fun game to run through and you get decent upgrades and weapons as well from doing the campaign. Came out around the time GOW 3 came out so a lot of people missed who liked GOW missed out on it as they have some similar game play with malee weapons.
Can I say that I am definitely a big fan of Warhammer and the lore but I'm much more excited about the new turok and I truly hope they bring back multiplayer/co-op or a group and or PVP or PVE I'd be happy
I would argue that this game has better customization than any Halo game period. I don't remember any Halo game allowing you to customize the color on each individual piece of armor. Unlike Halo, you are fully capable of turning your Marine into a living epileptic seizure. Just another reason to say that 40k games have some of the best customization in the entertainment industry. Period.
Damn, this doesn't vibe with me. They should delete this marine painter nonsense and sell pre-made outfits in an in-game store for 10 dollars a pop. A battle pass would be mint, too.

If that Chaingun is going to have an overheat and limited ammo, then it needs to get up to full firing speed instantly. You can't have all three downsides of slow build up, limited ammo, and rapid overheat and expect it to be a fun class
0:48 *created from the geneseed of primach Robute Guilliman. Not the emperor, the emperor created the primarchs, basically demigod level warriors to lead their respective space marine legions. So space marines are basically lesser genetic expresions of their primachs, they strive to get as close to the perfection of their genetic progenitors as much as they can, even though they will never truly reach their level.
I see they still... after all these years... haven't given us proper bolters, instead replacing all the bolters with generic machineguns. Also, would have been nice to see them lean more in the Astartes direction - of more lore accurate Space Marine speed and agility. Still, it looks like a blast. I just hope it's well optimized.
Drew those "emblems" are different chapter markings such as the imperial fists,cachorodians and black templars to name a few this game seems to be good so glad to see GW is trying to redeem themselves in the eyes of their fans

@@shawdcummings2160 The simple answer is cause @PutYourQuaterUpGaming is either a casual fan or someone who only recently got into the hobby and took the lore retcon at face value. That may not be the case though and if I'm wrong then so be it, but you're hundred percent right about how GW went about it and as others have reported that whole thing came from Amazon who wanted to put female Custodies as a main character in the now shelved live action series. That was going to be produced by Henry Cavil himself whom is a huge HW fan and been playing since he was a kid. Like the Witcher he wanted to stick to lore and cannon and Amazon did with the WH live action what they did to Witcher and retcon it for ESG points.
Geneseed is created out of DNA of astartes PRIMARCHS - each legion (now organized in chapters) had a primarch, who was above astartes, as astartes are more capable and able than base unaltered human.
