Yeah. People still not choosing this ball for a pickup games. It’s alright though I like shooting with it. Anyway, the thing about expensive leather basketball that it will last for many many year. If you buy a pair of basketball shoes that cost $150 and wear it a few times per week to play basketball that shoes probably only lasted 5 years max.

@@js2sgamer951 yeah. most people like soft and spongy feel basketballs. Full leather basketball doesn't have that kind of feels to it. thats why people don't want to play with it. I personally prefered to play with full leather basketballs.

Yeah a lot of people have the same idea. But I feel like it will be more useful for me to play with than just laying around. Plus, I don’t want to buy another ball, that would be $400. I can buy a lot more balls with that money to do reviews for you guys.

The ball will need some play time to trusty broken in. Don’t expecting too much out of it at the beginning.

Thanks for info. I will keep this info in mind for my future videos. The tf1000 legacy is one of my favorite basketballs. I wanted to get the latest tf1000 legacy but I have too many balls that need to be tested. I’m working on breaking in the Wilson nba game ball hopefully in a few months I have it done for a full performance review.

@@BrianO109 that’s what I am saying. All brand new leather balls are slippery. They need to be played with. A LOT. that softens the leather up.

I wouldn’t recommend outdoor for all three balls especially the nba official game ball. But if I must pick one then the evolution.

I don’t think so. The nba players been practicing with this ball since their season is over. It was way before the released date. I think they are ok with it.

Man, I don’t know it’s “feels so much better” than Spalding. At this point the Wilson is still a new ball and I’m pretty sure people that owned this ball haven’t fully broken it in yet. As for now, it doesn’t feels so much better than the Spalding and definitely no way it feels similar to the Evolution because they both r different type basketballs. But we never know maybe it will feel better when it’s fully broken in.

Then you should be good on Dec 8th unless they canceled your order. It’s a holiday seasons so they probably slammed with orders.

I have molten gl7x one brand n one completely broken in, the new one is heavier than the other. Since you have both old n new Spalding game ball, do u mind tell me how each one weight? So I can compared them to mine.

@@EverythingBasketballs My newer Spalding ball weighs in at about 1lb 4 oz. It has about 3 weeks worth of usage at this point. 8 psi of air. I threw out my broken in ball because it was no longer holding any air. and unfortunately I don't remember what the weight was when I weighed it. I just know it was slightly heavier than the newer ball.

@@TheTigress that is pretty heavy. I converted into grams that about 635 grams. Are you sure it that heavy? My broken in Splading NBA Official game ball is only 598 grams.

Nah. It shouldn’t be darker if it’s brand new. It only turns dark when it is fully broken in which could take at least 8 months.

If u played 3 times a week about 1.5hr each time, it probably gonna take between 6 to 8 months depend on how intensive u play with it. If u only shooting around then probably take longer than 8 months.

@@ericksmart5563 the evolution still be softer than broken in nba ball. But nba ball is more consistent and has nicer bounce.

NBA made Wilson keep the same materials and specs as Spalding used the past 30 years in order for there deal to go through. So it's literally the exact same ball the guys have been using the past few years with Wilson name on it

Sorry it is not, currently there are two versions of the replica series selling in my country, one is 7100 microfiber, and the 7200 composite leather. I have purchased the 7200 two months ago and got a touch and tried the 7100 at the store. Both of them are not even close to either the evolution or the solution, and the price of 7100 is on par with the evolution but the performance is just worth the half. As to the 7200, just pure trash. I just checked on the wilson website in the US, they are just the same as i mentioned, 7100 is for indoor, 7200 indoor/outdoor, funny how they dont sell the cheapest one 7300 outdoor here, are we people looking rich? So just some notice from the Good Old China.

Maybe it’s worth something in 50 years from now if the ball is well kept. Until then, I don’t think it will worth much, at least not at the sneakers level. Also Spalding ball is flooded the market, so in term of supply and demand, the supply pretty is high and not gonna b too many people want it.

@@EverythingBasketballs I’m tempted to get one before they sell out. I have a genuine 90s ball in the original box with Atlanta Hawks imprinted on it, as they were for game use. It has the pricing label on it from Phillips Arena too.

@@EverythingBasketballs Yea, I got pretty lucky considering the normal retail value they go for (at least I thought I did) and managed to get two new Spaldings on sale at different times for a shade over $100, and the other two were partially used/broken in already I got for $65 and $75 apiece. I possess a minor deal-triggered compulsive buying problem when it comes to things of a basketball nature. I feel weirdly compelled to use the #/100 ball but I guarantee I'd manage to scratch it on some fluke road nail hanging out of the wall or something. Figure maybe I'll save some money and try and buy another #/100 ball before they potentially increase significantly in value after being recognized as the unanimously agreed upon greatest batch of professional basketballs ever created (all limbs crossed). Sorry to hear they don't send you balls since finding legit research on balls has been difficult in times past due to lack of available and in-depth reviews, but your work's appreciated my man. I know its this way for myself with all the bballs I currently possess and probably is similar for yours, but knowing that I spent a personally irresponsible small fortune on all the ones I own has always resulted in my taking overly good care of them. For people trying to sell a ball that's already notoriously expensive, it's probably a little obscure to explain to a majority of people that don't know about the necessary 'break-in process", that "used" in this case it makes the product better and more valuable than a brand new one.

the nba and Spalding couldn’t reach the agreement. Maybe nba wants more money from Spalding’s sells or Spalding couldn’t continues this partnership because the share with NBA is too high. And that’s probably why the Wilson is jacked up the price on their nba balls.

There's not much of a difference to the spalding game ball but as you said there is a soft feeling and I can't grip it and pick it up lol. I played a bit today and so far I like the return of the bounce it's very consistent. So far that's all I can say but I can feel that when I'm sweaty the ball tends to get a bit stickier. But I'm 100% sure after seasoning the ball and breaking it in properly I'm sure it'll get better and better. That's all I can say bruv. Overall I'm happy with my £185 investment and I do recommend the hoopers to anyone to buy it if they're really crazy into it. P.s my packing was not the same as the box you received but still with wilson branding. Mine was exported from Germany with so many Wilson stickers stuck on the box lol. Yeah bounce is consistent, I also notice on the G-league most players has pretty good control on the ball unlike the bg5000 during the Olympic I saw a lot of losing control on the ball. Anyway, does this ball feel a little flat to you? I feel like the old splading is more bouncy.

It’s not ready yet. I feel like this ball take forever to break in. I literally played with this ball everytime I gym which 3 to 4 times a week.

This ball is limited edition maybe you can find it on eBay between $500 to $800. But for the regular nba game ball you find it the Wilson’s website or the nba store or website. But most of the time they sold out. The website is get on their email notification list so when the ball become available to purchase you’ll be the one to know first.

Just like the Spalding NBA ball with lesser weight. The thing about the nba game ball you neither love it or hate it. If you got so used to play the evolution type of ball then you probably not gonna like this ball.

The elite 2.0 is nice. You can’t go wrong with it. Don’t be picky nowadays, most of good basketballs sold out quick.

U can pick any of these balls and you’ll be happy with it: Nike elite 2.0, adidas pro 2.0, Baden elite, Spalding tf1000 legacy, the rock c2c, Old willson solution ncaa ball, Spalding nba game ball, and molten GG7X. Don’t ask me to pick one out of this list. Any one of these balls u picked you’ll be happy with. If you can’t decide which one just go with your favorite brand.
