I drive a 2025 Cummins W990. This truck and the 2025 Peterbilt 589 have the best stock look/interiors I’ve ever seen. W990 has tons of power and I pull 80k up mountains with ease. Favorite automatic truck ever made and the 589 is my fav 18 spd. Came from a Cummins w900 and it’s not close

That's Nice with the flat/chop top. Was never crazy about the "redesign" but given how everything has changed....I've come to appreciate them. Hard to beat a VIT interior.

I have a 23 w990 and love it but, no one, including our local dealer can get the keyless entry to work with the ignition in the on position. In the ignition off position it works just fine. Any ideas?

It's very nice and it's about time and that dash screen is a bad idea when the sun shines on it it looks like all the lights are on while driving

@@AndyTheKenworthGuy and just read a story in cdl life that the fmcsa is making Kenworth and Peterbilt do a recall on the dash there saying it doesn't met there guidelines and when I took the truck I drive to get some work done I asked about the recall is about and was told the don't what it is do you have any idea about it

Nice truck but I wonder how long it will be before Paccar either goes back to or offers the old style dash since all the manufacturers test their products on the buyers instead of perfecting it in-house not caring how much money is lost in downtime

W9B and T800 are discontinued. W9L lives on until 2025

@@AndyTheKenworthGuy We have a W9B on order but someone we deal with inquired about a T800 and they were told no more after these last slots. I contacted our salesman and he confirmed. Maybe he wants to get rid of the last slots? Paccar does have something planned being that Pete dash changed and 389X is coming out.

There's no way I would buy this truck for road operations. It actually was built for the car haul industry.

Only the sleeper. I run an 09 t800 with the 38 inch bunk and it has about the same amount of room. Its fine for an "if you have to stay out 1 night" scenario which is what i use mine for, but you dont wanna go cross country with it. I towed for 2 decades and only used that sleeper twice. With towing you don't t usually do many overnighters.
