Videos and explanations like this are what i aim to do one day Sharing the Experience of Coffee and ways to enjoy and find all the amazimg flavor coffee has to offer. Thank you very much for what you are doing Keep it up Brew🔥🔥🔥🤙🤙👌🫡
Do you think holding the beans in a little sieve over the kettle steam might have a similiar effect as using the spritzer on the beans before grinding them?
I have seen couple of your videos and they are really satisfying to watch. I have a few questions which randonly pop up and for some reason I forget to ask. You spray your coffee beans before grind. What is that spray and why do you do it?
Just got mine today. So far the two coffees I made with it were great. Do you re use the filters and have you tried making smaller amounts of coffee? Something like 12 g for 200 of water for me example😊
That’s awesome! I have not tried reusing filters. Higher doses I think are generally recommended for the Pulsar given the surface area of the brew bed - with smaller doses it would be a really really thin bed, I’m not sure exactly why this is bad - could be more astringency, lower extractions… I’m not sure. But 20-25g gets you optimal bed thickness
Well-done video. Two questions: 1.) Can you brew larger amounts (400-800g) into a carafe simply by using more coffee, or will the taste suffer? 2.) What size vessels (cup, carafe, etc) will the brewer fit over? Thanks for the info.
Can we get video on all the coffee doodads you have and explanation on how they work/brands etc? You have some cool looking stuff that I just don’t know what it is
I have a question for you: since i have an uncle and brother who love coffee i was like: mhh that Espresso set of yours looks realy fancy and i bet both of them would love it. I owe them a lot and wanted to make them a Present at some point in the future. Now: where can i cant a set like yours? :D do you have a Link you could Provide?
Hi Tanner! I am starting my coffee journey. At the very beginning, i got myself a V60, and specialty coffee. Bought also a hand coffee grinder ( Its timemore c2 fold) however thinking about getting something nicer ( if needed), love your Weber grinder tho! Total monster :) Thanks for such inspiring video with Next level Pulsar and having a nice brewing method. Any recommendation from you for a beginner for a hand grinder or a grinder? Best from Poland
Looks like a delicious cup. Just one question.. why 3:1 bloom ration? It looks like its bathing in water and the same result could be achieved with less water exposing less water to the nasty bits of co2 we want to avoid going into our cup?
You briefly touched on it in the video, but I am experiencing way faster drawdowns than I was expecting. Even with adjusting the grind size between like 600-1100 micron, theres not a big difference. This leads me to believe I am pouring way too much water with each pour. How much water in grams would you say each of your pours are and how much time in between them?
Probably a dumb question but there is no way to brew with this dripper in brew assist mode on the tally right? Because once you add the grounds and lock in the weight adding the dispersion cap throws off the max weight. And you can’t lock in the weight with the cap on because that also throw off the max weight
I’ve found it to have a higher ceiling of extraction, pretty definitively. What I like is that it’s fairly easy to tweak extraction with grind adjustment and get a quality extraction across a range of levels.
@@brady9592 Thanks, I find it ridiculous that people are claiming EY% is worthless when the whole promise of this brewer is facilitating high extraction
If I want to replicate a Hario Switch (immersion type) brewer, couldn't I close the valve, pour all the water at once, wait a couple minutes, give the brew a quick stir, and open the valve? In that method, couldn't I also get away with brewing only 18 gr beans with 355 ml water? Thanks!
I like the Pulsar except the way it precariously perches on whatever you use as the decanter. I've yet to find something that it sits on to where I'm not worried about it. Between that and the stiffness of the valve it makes it difficult to operate without two handing and lifting it from the decanter. Especially if it's sitting on a rather smooth surfaced scale. It would be nice if they re-designed the bottom to fit (and perhaps even include) a decanter. Also some Teflon (or similar low friction material) grommets on either side of the valve stem would allow the valve to rotate more easily allowing you to open/close it without having to put down the kettle and manhandle the Pulsar.
Can I ask you for a full demonstration of that coffee pot French press fidget spinner I tried leaving you messages on that but there's no way I can where did you pick something up like that I'm very interested do they have different sizes or one of the one cup is available I just have a bunch of other questions for you I'll leave it alone?? thank you!!
I mean that's fine, some things are just not worth it to some people. Some people are fine eating McDonald's or Burger King all the time and some people won't eat a burger unless it's completely homemade. There's nothing wrong with being okay with eating a Whopper instead of spending time making a burger if it doesn't matter to you. Difference between that and you is, the guy eating the whopper isn't foolish enough to try to flex on the other guy for knowing how to grill.
