Force trade is HUGE. Not for stacking teams but for getting teams with your favorite players and still be able to play random rosters too. I hate changing so much in rosters when a franchise fantasy draft and some trades are so much easier.
@@Superstar_cb you have to go to user teams under the options slider then press triangle (ps5) or Y(xbox) then add new character then select a head coach then repeat till you have all the coaches or your desired number of coaches.
Just so you know for future videos, you can do trades freely in the roster outside of franchise mode in the main menu and then import the roster into franchise mode
For Jonnu Smith being so dominate, it might just be the playbook. The cheifs playbook, which is probably the best one, uses its TE a lot cuz Kelce gets lots of targets. The Jags playbooks, which I assume you used cuz you didn't mention changing it and would go gainst the J theme, might have the same effect but idk for sure. Edit: Kelce was #2 in receiving yards, so it shows.
Ok so it'll be a massive pain but I'd love you to do a franchise with the biggest fantasy bust in each position after the end of the regular season. Just so we can see what might have been.
The fact Josh Dobbs missed this team is outrageous *edit why are there people in the replies trying to give me reasons why Josh Dobbs shouldn’t be on this team even though I was joking
13:34 I would expect WAY more yards on a four TD performance. That, or when you get to defense, I expect a bunch of turnovers. I prefer cherry turnovers, but they're all good!
Man, that was nostalgic and entertaining. Back in 2004, when I was doing franchises, alone in my room, I would do all this hilarious commentary and imagined dramatic music from a choir of demons, like I had subscribers of my own watching, lol, as I was simming through seasons developing a powerhouse squad, within the confines of a salary cap and no forced trades. Ultimately, I would export the rosters and use it to play against my best friend's franchise exports. Those were some of the best days of my life. My friend has since passed away, and all I have is those memories. Love the content, keep it coming.
I really liked this video Ik you’re new to these types of videos but you did a really good job, it was decently long video but it never felt like a long video because of the way you edited things and kept moving the video forward without neglecting interesting parts of it. Great job and I hope you do more videos like this.❤️
I absolutely love Madden just as much as I love your talent Brandon. Watching you react to the crazy things that regularly happen in Madden franchise (like Jonnu Smith being a receiving leader on a team with JJ, Ja’maar, and Waddle. Or the Colts beating a super team that’s 15 overall higher than them) is so fun. You need to do more Madden videos
2 months later watching this it is ironic that Jamal Adams, a starter in this video, is not even the seahawks best strong safety. Julian Love is. What the hell is life?
If you were wondering how Jonnu smith was leading It is the playbook Jacksonville Uses tight ends all the time in madden and wrs barely get that many reps
Just for if u didn’t know already your playbook is a HUGE factor in whether ur offense or defense is efficient or not. For maximum passing efficiency I’d probably choose the Dallas or kc offensive playbook but great video man
Super entertaining, keep the Madden vids coming! Only suggestion would be to play thru some highlights of the playoff games or at least conference champ and/or SB with your hilarious + insightful commentary a la Mike Korzemba. Ofc, I know that takes a ton of extra time tho, so ultimately just thank you for the already stellar content, Bran👏 listening to every ep of the pod, and looking forward to more long form creative stuff!
the reason why jonnu smith had so many targets is because the jacksonville playbook targets evan engram a lot, playbooks are all that matters in sim if you use KC it targets TE, MIN and CIN target WRs a lot
I love this video because I'm a Jaguars fan. It makes me so happy to see the Jags get some acknowledgement. (and I'm a fan of their LB Josh Allen) DUUUVALLLLL
It's all about the offensive playbook. You probably figured this out already but the Franchise meta playbooks are Dallas if you want an MVP QB or Chiefs if you want to force it to the Tightend.
I loved it you should do more man plus I love your content anyway also what you should do is do teams with say like all big ten players or all sec players or something like that you know just doing something different but I did like this video though
One big thing I can tell you especially for simming is using either kc or Dallas offense play books they play so much better with those especially for your qb and receivers
This was such a great video. You should do more of those. But the team was so good beating the Chiefs twice, and the Cowboys, but somehow lost to the Colts.😂
The yards, stats, and that one loss, it's because your using Jags playbooks, do this again with the best playbooks and then you'll do better. The Chiefs have a very strong playbook, and for some reason the Colts lol. Edit: Madden stats, wins, etc. is based off of the playbook mainly, not as much the players, although they do matter.
Love the video! However I just wanted to point out the biggest reason you weren’t completely dominant was probably the playbook, in simming, playbook and scheming are HUGELY important
You could limit yourself to just players named Justin and you'd probably still go 13-4. You'd have Herbert throwing to Jefferson, Tucker hitting 60-yarders, hell, you might be able to convince JJ (Justin James) Watt to come out of retirement.
Entertaining video. I love my Colts, who for the last several years can’t come up with anything against the Jags in real life, got the best of the all J team. What about doing a worst team? Can you build a team go 0-17?
An all speed team would be fun on the Phins. Put all the fastest players at each position in and see how that team does. I think it'd be dominant on offense, not sure on defense though.
Jags fan here, can confirm through multiple sims, your TE is gonna be a top receiver. Jags in a Doug Pederson system is now a very TE heavy offense. Evan Engram just broke a franchise record for most Single Season Receptions by a Tight End, a record he set last year.
For any future videos make sure to change the off and def play books the best off are chiefs and Dallas and beat def are raiders, falcons and 46, for the simulation games those playbooks will make your number skyrocket and force better stats, that’s also problay why the games with Dallas and chiefs are so close or why you didn’t blowout the falcons without bates
Playbooks are very important when simming. The best on offense is chiefs, and the best on defense is Cowboys. Change them in the team staff -> team schemes menu I love the Madden content and definitely think you should do more
The team will always perform while you have insane talent like this but it's the playback that's really holding you back. Switch to Bucs Offense and Spread Zone Run with this team and you'll put up numbers you won't believe. Jags D is great for the 3-4 you're running but if you wanted to switch to a 4-3, Bills playbook with 4-3 Quarters is insane
