@@EsoteriK1993If Barry was still the DC CJ Stourd throws at least 3 touchdowns. What team do you know that shutdown diggs and Stroud in the same game.
@@stanleyray4085you know I've noticed that the dumber the comment the person makes the more laughing faces they put behind them it wasn't even funny at all and winning is winning I'm guessing you are either a butt hurt bears fan or a butthurt Vikings fan
Green Bay gave the ball away 3 times setting up all of the Texans points, the Defense put the team on their back and carried us. Hafley is killing it so far. Haven’t seen defensive play like this since 2010
@alansimmons7455 yall definitely should have scored 7 on your guys last drive tbh. That what ruined it for yall, but then again packers defense did what they had to do to keep yall out.
@user-li1eg8xz7v Good game where that bone field helps. Texans were impressive missing 5 starters on defense, Nico Collins, but surprised no one mentions Houston's play calling. They ran two playaction calls that made great plays but Slowik didn't call them enough. You got to use playaction when your offensive line is beat up, and it helps move that pocket. Plus they were running the ball well so they had good movement when they did use PA.
texans fan here both our defense carries us in the game, yall turned the ball over a lot and out of line could not handle yalls blitz, very good defensive game
People need to stop with this. You were spoiled with Aaron Rodgers who is a complete anomaly with INT's. I m ean Tom Brady had twice as many INT's in his career as Rodgers has and nbody told him to clean it up. Love is fine. You need to stop acting like Rodgers is the norm.
@@chriskay1449 Love is fine, but he does need to clean up his ints. This has nothing to do with being spoiled by Rodgers. The concept is winning, and Love throwing those ints, hurts the team's chances of winning.
@@chriskay1449 Love has thrown 8 picks in 5 games thats way above the normal rate and couldve thrown a couple more in most of those games. His decision making has been very inconsistent even lafleur said so many times
I warned people about DC Hafley getting hired by GB 😅. When he was DC for my Buckeyes we led the nation in multiple defensive stats including total defense and lowest missed tackles. The guy was brilliant for us. Great game
We can thank the college ball additions of NIL, transfer portal, etc. for making him want to leave that world. He turned in a decent season at BC last year with a bowl win, but I think the difficulty in building programs at that level now is making guys like him more willing to jump to the NFL.
Matt has really been a great addition to the CBS team. He takes high level concepts and makes them easy to understand, and the other guys are feeding off of that. You can tell they love talking football and their combined roughly 75 years of football experience really adds a lot of depth to their discussions.
Crazy stupid call by Texans on 3rd down to pass instead of just running. Green Bay would have used their last time out.

I dont think a pass play was the wrong call. What was stupid about it is that Slowik wanted to gain short yardage instead of passing it to gain a 1st down. If they would’ve passed for a first down, game would’ve been over, Houston would’ve won
Pass play is the right call, if they make that 1st down, they run the rest of the clock out and win with the field goal. The stupid part was even trying to throw it shorter than the 1st down line.
I honestly think that the packers 2ndary is what made all rhe difference. Because while the packers had impressive blitz ability on Stroud many of those Blitz aren't successful without the cover that the 2ndary gave em @splix2826
Texans win this game if they had their best player Nico Collins. Of course your pass defense is gonna look good if the other team doesn’t have their best and borderline top 5 WR in the league 😂
They weren’t depleted on offense 😂 stroud completed 10/21 for 80 yards.. if it weren’t for green bay turnovers they would’ve got beat like the Vikings did them again
@@TheMaintenanceMan94 Vs the Vikings Texans didn't have Mixon which is massive for that team. Vs the Packers Texans didn't have Collins who even after missing a week was still the leagues leading WR. Yes, the Packers played better than the Texans, but let's not pretend they are full strength. I do agree though they don't look amazing on offense, will be interesting if they ever get the full team healthy.
You got a bunch of Cry-Baby Texas fans on here making excuses don't matter if your team's depleted or not you still got to win the damn game and you can only play who's in front of you
This game was my favorite team (Green Bay) vs my second favorite team (Houston). This *could* be a Super Bowl preview, if I’m being totally honest. I would love to see it, both teams fully healthy in the big dance. Nico Collins is my favorite WR and I truly believe he would have made the difference in this one. I love my Packers but I am also a realist and know Nico would absolutely decimate the GB coverage. Who’s with me? Wouldn’t that be a banger of a SB? GB vs HOU with Houston winning 30-28, and I wouldn’t be mad at all!
Our d smothered them put whoever in we locked them down. No disrespect to Nico Collins but I don't think it would of made a difference. He had no time to throw
@@VictoryNotVengeance I feel like given the pressure on stroud Nico wouldn't be able to stretch the field and make as big of a difference as usual, but who knows it could easily be a 2 point difference
For us to get nothing out of the passing game and CJ have an off night,I’ll take us losing at the very end by a field goal on the road. Mixon was a great pickup for us. Packers got us this time
Good game boss. I waited for this game since last year. 2 up coming qbs 2 upcoming teams, 2 upcoming defense... I had texans vs packers superbowl. We will see. Texans squad was Dawgs. Go pack
Hopefully we meet again in the end but somebody is going to have to deal with the ravens and chiefs first. NFC is wide open so who knows who will be on top in the end.
Texans offensive coordinator Bobby Slowik is garbage. Predictable run plays on 1st and 2nd downs, no ability to adjust after halftime so offense is consistently stalled...if he is not replaced Texans have no chance of winning deep in the postseason.
@@GreyWind1988Houston was missing there best player on offense and 7 key starters on defense and they barley lost by 2 due to a dropped touchdown packers don’t stand a chance in that division
@@gradystanley5812 I'm just shocked 7 👍🏿 from a beat houston beat anyone 😂 as if they won the last 2 super bowls or been in the last 6 afc championship game 😂😂
Houston offense went without Collins for stretches last year, and still looked good. I'm not sure Dell is 100%. This isn't the same offense without Dell being involved. The weakness of the Packer D is the run. Fortunately, coaches don't like to stick with it.
@@billystreamsandmemes Yeah, Mike Pettine used to say that too before he got run out of town because his D couldn't stop the run. If you can run on a team, then you don't need to pass.
Green Bay adjusted in the 2nd Half. Mixon was a non-factor in the 2nd half gaining 30 something yards. Plus, they contained Stroud on top of that. It's all about adjustments. No worries here about GB's run defense!
It was Joe Mixon who got this thing going here.... The scores already 14 to 13... Not sure how that's getting things going. Seems like that's more in the middle.
Love is much like Favre in his second full season. If he can make a couple of better decisions e.g., don’t throw to Wicks or Watson in double coverage then he’ll excel this year.
Texans did not capitalise on the interceptions mainly because greenbay where the better team on all levels , Packers win even with a slight under performance from JL , packers have improved since week 3 and the packers biggest problem is discipline and not other teams. They have gone from a team with a dangerous man to a dangerous team.
whoever that dude was talking about our defense has 0 clue about what he talking about we literally kicked Joe Barry to the curb and brought in Haffley and it’s literally night and day he’s a dawg
That Mckennie sack was beautiful, he dialed up a blitz to move them out of field goal range, we know if Barry is coaching he calls a shell defense and allows them get close to the first down and possibly give up 7 while hafley risks it to give up 0
Packers Defense the best at making adjustments the 2nd half. since week 3, they have only allowed 7 or fewer points in the 2nd half. This is not a bend but dont break D. This is a legit D
Gb is smart. They moved on from a rod at the right time. Got a bunch of picks for him and Adams and now they are a defensive driven team. They made stroud look pedestrian yesterday. Love just gotta stop throwing INTs
The problem is the texans o line is horrendous and the green bay defense took it to then but i dnt rhink slowik is the right fot he seems to not knownhow to pilot a talents offense and a decent qb
Hey Coach, let's not forget that the Pack won in spite of their best efforts to give the ball away. A good team should be able to win when the other team turns the ball over 3 times.
I hate when a defense is labelled as "bend but don't break". That's just a roundabout way of saying they ain't all that great. It's like saying "Well, they have a defense, but...." It drives me nuts.
Every good team the Texans have played in the last 8 games knows they have trouble adjusting to the defense coming from the outside. They were coming untouched. Bobby isn’t making the adjustments needed. Can’t tell me cause Nico wasn’t playing that tank dell Diggs and Shultz can’t get open. One second half touchdown and the game was won.
as a Texans fan it's was a good game but cj was getting killed they didn't protect him. to give him time to make a play. my hat is off to green bay packers they played a hell of a game
@@Mick-mi7zg I’m a packers fan and I enjoy Love he reminds me of Favre. He should have never made that throw into a guy draped in double coverage so volley aside bad pass selection
@@santostorres1799 86 passing yards lol. Better at losing sure. Love leads the league in passing TDs and Packers Oline isnt that great. Quit making excuses for your QB who has been stealing close games and getting owned by good teams from the NFCN.
@@santostorres1799I’m not a packers fan but I’ve yet to see cj play good against a good defense . The 2023 browns may have been the leagues number one defense but on the road they were giving up 33.3 points a a game
@@austinanderson90 that allowed them to kick off 15 yards up. Why should that have any relevance to spotting the ball? If they had kicked in the end zone for a touchback, would that have come out to the 15?
Texans exploited a loophole. By rule, when a free kick goes out of bounds the ball is spotted 25 yards from where the ball is kicked. In this case the kickoff was from the 50 because of a penalty on the previous play. So the Texans were intentionally aggressive on the kick and were not concerned about the ball going out of bounds. There was an article on the ESPN site about that play.
I like the Packers, but both team need to fix alot, Texans O-line horrible yet again. Texans got out coached again. stupid play calling, even Romo was commenting. Packer barely beat the Texans second string defense. both team need imp[rovment, but i feel that both are future winner for some time.
Bend but dont break? Im english and i understand the game better than that clown who said that. We are aggressive on D, either we are going to get a turnover, quick 3 and out or will concede a TD but itll be quick cos we will get our O right back out on the field. We put pressure on the other team on both sides of the ball and its really fun to watch
Packers got lucky. Glad they won and glad we finally have a kicker but jfc these interceptions need to stop. Clean that up and this is a very young and formidable team that's here to stay for a long time. The defense won this game for GB by holding a top 5 QB to 86 yards. Hats off for Jeff Hafley to turning Joe Barry's bottom feeder defense into a legit one with many of the same players.
Just so y’all know, Packers didn’t GIVE the ball away as much as u WANT to believe that. Texans defense and special teams is to blame for every turnover. And that was a defense made up of HALF our starters😭
