I look forward to the NHL's 24/7 Bedard Cam™ where I can watch my favorite team in 720p whilst also having a 4k stream of Conor Bedard taping his sticks.
look, i'm one of those who's sick of the *constant* hype, but OTOH, this is what "marketing its stars" is supposed to look like for the NHL a la the NBA.
the people saying bust dont know anything about hockey and are just being contrarians for the sake of it. he just turned 18, give him some fucking time.
Doesn't have the speed, height or physicality that McDavid, McKinnon, Mathews, etc all had. He's more compatible to Crosby, and compared to him, Crosby, so far,(I mean, he's only played on game) is the better player (obv. Comparing Sidney's first game to Bedards) He's young, the talent is there, but I think he'll just be a 'good player's and not a generational talent.
He never said he is a generational player. Is the media giving him that title and obviously you don’t know hockey enough to understand Bedard’s amazing hockey IQ and shot. Is so pathetic that you people come here and criticize an 18 year old kid. I like to see you elevate your game at this young age when all eyes are on you!
Oh has Austin Matthews won a Stanley Cup or a Junior World Championship, I don’t recall. Seems to me Connor Bedard is two ups on Austin Matthews on winning two World Junior championships within a span of six months! Oh bye the way Crosby scored his first NHL goal in his third game and Crosby won three Stanley Cups 🎤
That Crosby goal wasn't on Bedard. If you watch, he switches to cover the point. Crosby becomes Hall's guy to cover. And Hall just doesn't stay close to him, he gets caught puck watching. If you listen REAL close you can actually hear Bedard call out the switch on the ice.
@@bradysullivan-cq3oz he did though. Like I said you can hear him call it out. That's just normal on ice communication stuff, happens every shift. Hall just didn't do a good job.
So i will say, do I like the NHL riding him? Absolutely not. But he is a good lad, he seems like a good guy and he plays well,. If he can beat the cameras then I will respect him. Just dont let the drink and women get to ya
Well, he didnt score on his first shot of his first shift of his first NHL game so I think we can safely call Bedard a total failure, forget he exsists, and move on to finding the next "generational player" which doesnt suck like Bedard diid in his debut. Bedard Farts - A Breakdown Give him a break, man.
I agree. He is an actual kid. I'm not the biggest hockey guy, so it seems weird to me that they would throw 18 year olds in with these established guys who are no doubt absolutely frightening to play hockey with.
@@tobighst You either have no idea what you’re saying or just love to hate. Crosby entered the league at 18 as well and went through all the abuse Bedard will have to. It’s actually what builds a player. The roughness of the game isn’t gonna break him to the point he’s all of sudden loses all confidence and becomes a total bust😂
@@xorry77 pretty sure I do because we see it all the time with #1s being busts or getting pressured mentally and failing. And watch him on the ice, he’s not impressive at all. And if you think he is you must think Ryan reaves is the best goal scorer too
You are probably a little jealous weasel that wants Bedard to fail. Guess what you are the one that make a big deal out of all this. Even Bedard is humbled enough to say he hopes to make it on the line up to play this season. The kid just wants to play hockey!
