THE Nike Dunk Low "Philly" - Did They Get It Right? 

💯 the whole drop was great, I was completely shocked to get my size considering how many people showed up. I was on vacation from work and decided to get in line. I assumed wouldn’t get a pair and lo and behold, I got mine. Agreed though, super nice pair, overall great release.

Nice! I saw on ig they did a release. They’re doing a snkrs release now too. Curious how easy they’ll be to get.

I'm hoping this will be a sleeper for the hype beast and land on the feet of those ppl who will rock them!

Thank you! Surprisingly, they had plenty of stock which was surprising and great. I'm guessing in line with me, there were probably 300-400 people... Maybe more and I would say by the time I got to the front the only size gone was a 13 at that point. I really hope Nike has a good amount of stock for everyone, this is an excellent shoe imo.

Thank you for watching! Absolutely. I was told they run big at the store but based on my try on, they're true to size. If you're a wide footer they're a smidge narrow but I'd still recommend going true to size.

Agreed! I noticed the colors and thought they were referencing the eagles or something, but I think it's more supposed to represent paint and the art of Philly than the sports. When they debuted the shoe, it was at citizens bank park (Phillies) and I honestly thought it was a Phillies specific color way that even the phanatic (mascot) and staff had, presumably as gifts. But it turned out it was more story than direct reference to the teams.

@@thereviewd Yes. Multi-colored laces would have been too expensive, probably, and it's more about Philly's grittiness and art, than its sports. But come'on, add just a little bit more phillies red! Anyways, (a) Jeff Lurie must be VERY happy. (ib) thank YOU for all this great content!

@GeoffKimo I agree!! I heard Brian say that he didn't want to do the typical Philly thing (cheese steaks, etc, etc) and wanted to focus on the story. Imo though, sports is a big part of our DNA obviously so I agree, something that references our teams, kinda like weaving our story or our teams into the story of the shoe (colors specifically) would've been cool in addition to the sports nod on the insole. Either way, this was awesome, I can't help but smile when I see it because of my story now; how much fun I had and the surprise of actually getting a pair. I hope Brian gets a shot to do something with the eagles, I know he was talking to them before about a potential collab which would've been incredible (I think jimmy gorecki from standard issue tees got that one though). That's a healthy amount. I really didn't think I had even a remote chance of getting a pair. Something like this is usually ultra limited.
