Ninja muppets cleave their way through rasta muppets on their way to defeat THE satan. Many drugs were had on the development of this game and I love it.
ernie was framed by them for stealing gems and murdering a famous mansion owner that kept money relics and other stuff they wanted the police and others found out it was them and not ernie so he is innocent
Not to mention hunchbacked zombies, robot duplicates of the shredder wielding the BFG, Hans and franz from SNL days long past, and the robot suit from Aliens.

Man this was literally the first beat em up I've ever played when I was like 6. Although I was very clueless with my quarters back then it's still one of my best memories
this game and karate blazers are my childhood game I remember spending afternoon by just playing these games I also get to make friends with fellow players while discussing strategies and stuff. good times
The Ninja Kids is on Taito Legends Volume 1. Sucks that the PS2 version lacks 4-player version when I tried to hook multitap but the original Xbox version does. I don't know if the PC version had 4-player support or not
I noticed each ninja has their own unique attributes in gameplay aside from their weapons, elements, and colors: Blue = the only character has dash and deflect with attack (using katana). The rest doing dash and dodge. Red = the only character has range attack (shuriken). The rest are melee weapons Green = the only character has wooden and non-edge weapon (sansetsukon). The rest are bladed edge weapons. Yellow = the only character with 2 weapon types (Kama [sickle] and Kusari [Chain with hammer]). The rest have only 1 single type of weapon each.
While The Ninja Kids is a good beat-'em-up in its own right, I do have to wonder what the pitch meeting was like for the staff members to get this game greenlit. I would assume the crew behind this game got high as a kite to come up with its loony premise. Never before have I seen a video game that lets you play as Muppet-ripoff ninjas on a quest to save the world from a Satanic cult, killing an army of Muppet-ripoff people and other sorts of weirdos and monsters along the way as the story unfolds under the usual bastardization of the English language that arcade games of the now-defunct Taito were known for. Blatantly racist designs and depictions of the black enemy characters withstanding, I liked this game.
Hi, how do you find 4 players, I want to enjoy it with some friends and I do not know how it is possible to play it for 4 ... please, tell me, I beg you ...
