Natinator 421 should turn a genisis into a toaster to make that true

It's entirely possible, the only problem being the board sizes. The model 1 is out of the question, unless you happen to own a particularly massive toaster. SOME model 2s might work, but still a tight fit and would probably need some physical modification, which leaves the model 3... which would certainly fit, but isn't even stereo, so... meh. A lot of inconsistencies with the Genesis. It's certainly not impossible though.

thanks I am sure you are busy with work and life and hobbies, but was hoping to see more retro consoles that you built over the years. Well the nintoaster videos are still classic!

It started as a joke mod idea around 2003, but didn't decide to actually make one until after folks said that the Genintari mod looked like a toaster. Figured I'd finally give them something that looked like a toaster.

There are maaany many things to look out for. If you haven't already, I'd watch both the Nintoaster Instructional Video AND the Nintoaster Troubleshooting video. They're both kinda long, but they touch on many of the finer details. (Especially the troubleshooting one). If I could give only one word of crucial advice that will save you from ripping out a lot of hair, remember to keep the wires as absolutely short as possible when extending the cartridge connector off of the board for re-positioning.
