I’m in the same boat. Broken family. All 3 children have left the faith. Two of them are not married in the Church - both marrying non- Catholics who practice nothing. One is in and out of all kinds of trouble and is now starting to live with his girlfriend. My one and only grandson is not baptized. One has decided not to have children. If you would kindly pray for them. I can’t bring up God because they all get angry and estranged. I am 69, almost 70. I don’t know if I have another 12 years but I will begin these prayers.

My son has entered into an illicit marriage with a wonderful girl who has not sought an annulment for her first marriage and they now have a beautiful baby girl who is not baptized and not being raised in the faith. 😢 Jesus, I place all my trust and hope in you!! God tells us to forgive 70 times 7 times. Your forgiveness has NOTHING to do with his remorse. My mother forgave her sexual abuser decades before he showed any remorse or repentance. Besides, if you don't forgive, God CANNOT forgive you. Satan has a grip on your heart.

@@DrChristineBacon my husband started molesting his 11 yr old daughter and I couldn’t get him to stop. He said I made her I will touch her where I want to. She turned 15 and he raped her by inserting his finger into to her and I again couldn’t stop it bc I had endocarditis and was very very sick! He wouldn’t let me go to a male doctor and so the infection was getting so worse that I had no strength to fight him off, he pushed me into a wall while he was doing this to her. I immediately removed from this house and sent her away to another family member. I wanted to get his daughter to charge him, she now says that he has asked for his forgiveness and she accepted it. She as an adult has turned on me and he is brainwashing her saying that I’m demented and not to believe anything I say to her! She knows how he treated me as she was there watching and listening to everything that went on growing up in this house! She is so greatfil ful to her father for teaching her how to look after our finances and puts him on a pedestal for doing that! She blames me for not leaving him and has told her children that I should have taken better care of her. Every time I tried to do this! He would say that I’m supposed to submit to him and so he wouldn’t let me stop what he was doing. He is a naracisst and

There's something else that Saint Faustina left with us that is very merciful and encouraging. Our Lord revealed to her that when a person dies, three times, He speaks to their soul inviting them to BE with Him and He said by the third time they usually have made up their mind to BE with Him. So that's VERY, very consoling.

Go watch the 1973 movie Soylent Green, and see what just may happen with too many people and not enough resources. My one daughter grew up around mostly adults, because of that shes far ahead of her peers. She has no children because she has enough sense to use birth control. Unlike some of her friends, she didnt ruin her future by having multiple rugrats with multiple partners before age 25. One of her friends with 3 rugrats is working as a waitress. By contrast, my daughter is in upper management in a multinational company making 300k yearly. She....did it right.

Why is this hard? Our Lord promised that even if you died in the middle of it, you will receive the graces of completion as if you'd prayed it the entire twelve years. Pray it now! God is so merciful!

Yes that’s definitely a worry although I am fortunate that I only have one child, and one grandchild so I picked them plus a friend. The only thing I could suggest would be if you have the time to say the prayers TWICE each day, and hope that God would count that as two separate petitions. So each set of the prayers would add up to 6 people to be saved instead of just 3. Just my thoughts though nobody can say it’s the perfect solution. By the way it says 4 successive generations shall be saved so I’m thinking all your children and grandchildren will be counted in this anyway, in addition to the three chosen and named by you specifically.

For successive generations are covered. That means all of your children and your grandchildren and your great grandchildren and your great great grandchildren.

It's a different novena with different promises. Look them both up but do one of them!

It is indeed longer than the 12 year prayers but I’ve managed to do it twice, in different years. I’m retired so have plenty time but not sure if a really busy person could commit to it but where there’s a will there’s a way! The 12 year prayers are much shorter and I’m in my fourth year of those.🙏🏻

You need to pray for that priest as well. Until our dying breath, we can sin. If we hold grudges and don’t forgive we can’t go straight to heaven. These novenas are also on RU-vid to help you out.
