Samuel Music You get used to it and start ignoring most of the stuff that a visitor would think is crazy. That's why some people think New Yorkers are rude; there's so much stuff going on all the time that many don't have the patience to pay attention to most of it.
Samuel Music If you live in manhattan, which is a really expensive place to live. Most people live in the boroughs (queens, brooklyn, etc.), which aren't as "intense."
***** lol he schedules it to release at that time. RU-vid then makes the video public at that time everyday. Still, it's crazy that he shoots and thoroughly edits these everyday.
Whats crazy about the diamond district is that its one street with thousands of diamond dealers... how does anyone make any money with so much competition!?
You guys are awesome!! Thanks for checking out my channel! I really appreciate it very much. I still have about 7 TB of footage to edit through!!! Ollie Hutchinson Alex Melillo
Piano Around the World It becomes a hub for a product, as such they have a mass consumer market all populated in one area so they were always attempting to outcompete one another, its a business tactic which particularly works when that area becomes world renowned people go there to spend the big money and businesses go there. Although it means they have to have competitive prices they have such a high volume of customers its worth it.
Yeah I'd never mail him anything- it would survive the postal system but not the opening by Casey. I wish he'd treat the stuff people pay to give him, with more respect and care. You don't know what expense, care, etc that they put in, to get free stuff to him. It must be a little disappointing for people who watch him opening stuff recklessly or being unimpressed with stuff. It's free... it's not hard to be grateful. I hope the stuff he doesn't intend to use goes to shelters, etc... places where they'd be put to really good use.
Casey have you ever thought about taking a picture everyday of Francine, so that by the time she is 15 or 20 she can see how she changed throughout life?
I understand your argument and I expected for someone to hit me with that side of the view. I mean, they obviously send him products because of the mass advertisement it does, that acquire hundreds of thousands of views, it obviously works on me because I check out the product. Why do you feel it's "gross" that people send Casey Neistat free products and goods? Because you feel they should give to the needy instead?
***** It's just a form of advertising. They could pay thousands and thousands for advertising in conventional manners or they could send a few of their own products, that probably wouldn't cost them much at all, to people like Casey to reach people in another way
***** Did you just 'K' me? haha But, yeah, it's just advertisement dude. Brands send me emails all the time wanting me to do a project with their product and they'll pay me etc..
***** I never said I actually buy the products, I'm not that spendthrift and loose with money. I'm a very frugal man actually. I'm just saying, people seeing the products on these vlogs and checking them out is the whole point of people sending him things.
Thank you for the normal upload time Casey. 24 hours is normally hard enough to wait for your next vid. But the last 32 hours has been filled with angst, constant sub box refreshing, and stress not knowing if you'd upload normal time or whenever. We love you Casey. Keep doing what you do.
Cubic zirconium, however does last forever. It has a half life of 24,000,000,000,000,000,000 years. The universe would experience heat death before your fake diamond degrades halfway.
I was genuinely sad to see this vlog end! It's so cool seeing Candice in her business world where she seems pretty comfortable, especially with Casey there following her. :D His smile was so encouraging, that is true support.
This has been one of my favorite vlogs so far, thank you for sharing a slice of your life with us, (Not just the video of it, you also spend a chunk of your life making these vlogs).
Tor @Cheese As this exchange just demonstrated, the original post wasn't meant to be rude, but the expression doesn't communicate well in the context of RU-vid, where not everyone speaks the same vernacular. You weren't wrong to object.
Wow New York City is so amazing, the Diamond area is so cool!!!! You should make a vlog of all your favorite places around NYC Casey, thumbs up if you agree!
Casey, just had to say I've been loving the vlogs. Before I had to wait so long to see your work. Now I can see little, yet incredibly satisfying, pieces of work every day. Love the way you do everything, sincerely Cole.
I felt like I was watching a cool episode on TV at 6:08 when you added that short clip of music and the buildings. Nice little touch and this episode, I mean vlog was awesome!!
Hey Casey! Nice Vlog again:) Just wanted to tell you, that in minute 5:01 you can clearly the "Dealers" Face. Just für Safety! Greetings from Germany:)
I covet the pistol and diamond bullet ring, and the love knot ring... but I also have to eat food and pay for a roof over my head. Finn's jewelry is a mix of funky, delicate and classy. I wonder how she feels about rip-offs because I can totally see some of her stuff being ripped off in a store like H&M.
***** All high street stores like H&M and many other similar chains always are inspired in their designs by high class, top designers from clothes, bags, sunglasses, jewellery etc....sadly it happens all the time!!
Cristina Angelica The gun & bullet ring is clever & beautifully executed, but from one point of view it's sick in the sense of cool, & from another point of view it's sick in the original meaning of that word.
Trixites 123 diamonds aren't rare, in the early 1900s (not 100% sure on the year) a man found a huge diamond mine filled with planes of diamonds. He didn't tell anyone except for those in his company. He slowly over the years sold these diamonds and acted as if they were rare and also created the thought of engagement rings needing diamonds. If it weren't for him diamonds would be worth much more than silver
Diamonds are not rare, you are correct, however, there are different types of diamonds. They are usually differentiated by the color, clarity, size, and style of shape and cut. Making some diamonds expensive as fuck.
moiraine_damodred Actually...that shit looks scary as fuck and i'm not the type of be afraid to try crazy shit. Looks like an easy slip and fall between the trains cars. NY native
The thing about diamonds is, if you bought one today and tried to sell them tomorrow, they wouldn't even sell for half the price. Diamonds are worthless and definitely not an investment. They're purely for show. At least with gold you can sell it at some point for more than you bought it if you're lucky.
+J. S.M. (Zantorym) Depends where you buy them. If you were to buy them from a jewellery store, then of course they aren't going to be worth what you paid for them! If you went to a jewellery store, bought a solid gold bracelet, then melted it down and sold it for the raw materials, it would likely be worth less than half of what you paid for it. If you bought diamonds straight from the mine, and skipped all the middle men, you could likely manage to resell said diamonds for a profit (with enough business/sales skills)
Casey I've saved my first RU-vid comment to say... I FUCKING LOVE YOU! You have such a unique creative mind. This mixed with your hard working attitude creates absolutely beautiful documentation a of life and the emotions that go with it.
