I must admit Ive been schooled today. I always thought Sal was portrayed publicly as an asshole, tough to work with, egocentric, etc. That's SO NOT true! His drumming on some of my fav albums was , to me, 100% unique and integral to the sound of those albums. Thank you Sal for doing The NYHC Chronicles Live! today & showing the world what a cool sincere heartfelt & genuine cat you are. HAIL! HAIL! 🥁 #RIPPeteSteele

Sal' drumming is PURE! There's crossover and the dark/goth metal archetype on those Type O Negative/Life Of Agony records.......

I was at that Exploited/Biohazard/Type O show at the Ritz. The most violent show I ever been to. Someone got stabbed and at one point the singer of Exploited was egging on the crowd to get violent and start a riot

I caught the band on the first album tour at the old Marquee club in London ... incredible!!
