This case absolutely infuriated me and I feel so sorry for Andrew’s family. I thought the justice system here in the US was bad, but Spain really dropped the ball on this one. I’m a true believer that karma will get her eventually. Prayers and blessings to Andrew’s family 🙏❤️🕊️
If a Mexican girl marries with you, you’ll get love and admiration a clean robe and a chocolate on your pillow. Married to a Russian Ukrainian Rumanian Bulgarian Etc etc you’ll get crazy or flatlined 😂
Girl literally slept in his house for multiple days, surely planning the murder this whole time, and they call it a crime of passion??? That's... the exact opposite of what happened. Unbelievable.
Not to mention the long trip to get there too! (I think he said it took several days). So that’s almost a full week of planning!! Now I’m wondering… How long is considered premeditation to them? Apparently a week isn’t, so it must have to be several weeks or months to count 🙄
Plus she scratched off the serial number on the gun and then out it in his hand. It was a terrible plan, but she clearly thought out her actions! If I was going to kill someone out of "passion" I definitely wouldn't have had a clear enough headspace to remember to do that.
I dont get how it could be taken as crime of passion, when they had been broken up long enough for both to have new partners, her actively stalking him, then all the logistics of the murder itself.. I dont usually like to think this happens, but she obviously got away easy because of her pretty face.
Really sad. I feel so bad for Andrew's family and his gal friend Maria... May comfort be with his family and may his soul so RIP. This woman will pay Andrew's death with her own life one day for sure... Cos this was a premeditated murder...
@@artestra it's still breaking and entering even if you have a key. You can't enter someone's house simply because you have a key. There's all sorts of reasons why a person might have a key to someone else's house and only 1 of those reasons is "they gave the key to them". And even if you previously gave someone a key, you can still not want them in your house at a later time or if they enter without your knowledge or permission- that's all B & E.
Idk how it works in other countries, but I think it’s “unlawful entry” or “criminal trespass,” when you haven’t technically done any breaking and entering. Misdemeanor v felony 😒
I have no idea, because she certainly shouldnt have been there, stolen key or not. I guess the higher courts liked her face, so much so, that they decided its a ok to put more people in harms way. Because girls like her will get in trouble again, its just a matter of time.
I am from Slovakia and I have never heard about this story, so thank you for sharing. It is absolutely insane, she should be behind the bars for the rest of her life....
I believe a sociopath uses others to climb socially and it seems that’s what she is about. She got away with murder; she took away someone’s dad. The daughter seemed so happy in the picture with him, I’m saddened for her.
A dad that was dating someone 1 year older that his daughter. (19 vs 20) I don't necessarily care about the gap as long as the younger person is at least 25, but this guy was a creep on so many levels. If the murderer had spent the rest of her life behind bars, I would say nothing of value was lost.
@@azuman7 two consenting adults dating makes one of them a "creep"? Why? Because of your arbitrary age gap limit? Right...what makes him a creep and on which levels?
@@azuman7 Not the daughters fault; she lost her dad who might have been a good dad to her regardless how he lived his life, and he didn’t murder anyone, in fact he took care of these women while he was with them. I disagree with his lifestyle, but God allows us the freedom to choose how we live while letting us know he will call us to account for our choices.
Oh you want arbitrary vs science? K. I picked 25 because the is when the brain stops forming. 18 is the arbitrary choice here. Some states it is 16. Some it is 14. My guess is you WOULD have problem with those arbitrary dates. SHE WASN'T OLD ENOUGH TO DRINK. You think this bastard wasn't plying her with alcohol? But most importantly she wasn't old enough to have lived the experiences to know he was gonna dump her butt when she got too old for a newer woman, or at least know that was a possibility.
The part about her throwing her “old” handbag at him because he wouldn’t buy her a new one, reminds me of a toddler having a temper tantrum when they don’t get what they want. I’d feel like the luckiest girl on the planet if someone bought me a purse in the first place. Hell, even a Walmart purse would have me on cloud 9. Lol. That poor man did not deserve any of what happened to him. That girl is 100% a Jodie Arias 2.0.
I think that that clearly indicates that the supposed "good man" was anything but. A 40+ year old has no business dating anyone under the age of 26. Period. Those that do are at best, predatory creeps. Pointing out her child-like emotional immaturity only serves to prove this fact.
She stalked him via social media , app tracker on his phone, kept or took his passport, and then traveled over 2 thousand miles to HIS home, made copies of keys to his mansion..UMM HELLOOOO! Premeditated! How could she just get away with murder with a slap on the wrist - sorta speak! The audacity to flaunt herself on social media, so carefree and heartless. No respect or remorse for the family. Or his fiancé.
His family should file a countersuit on her for not paying any of her dues, and the court should place an order for her arrest for breaking her judgment to pay the money and throw her back in jail.
Well, we can't treat women the same as a man. If it were reversed, rest assured the man would get life in prison, or the death penalty. She was not one for equality. Just Equity.
In my opinion she looks in the mirror every morning amazed at how her face, her body got away with it and laughing at the ease of how it all went. When we stop thinking that an aesthetically pleasing person can never hurt anyone, abandoning this intrinsic thought perhaps one day we will be less influenced by it and we will give the right punishments without giving privileges.
I hope that time does not treat her well, and she ages like a rotten fruit. Then when she looks in the mirror all she'll see is a wrinkled undesirable psychopath, because I guarantee her personality won't be winning her any men.
When does it ever go well with these huge age gap and social status relationships though? And unfortunately the rich and the pretty will continue to get away with whatever it is they do… life isn’t fair.
“Going out for coffee is sacred time. To me that’s Adrian time. And let me tell you, nobody gets in the way of that.” That statement made me laugh. Love the channel!
Pretty privilege to the extreme. She might've flirted or even had relations with someone with influence to get her sentence reduced. As you stated, she had a lot of special privileges in prison. She will likely hurt or kill another person on the future because she knows that she got away with it once. Truly disgusting.
Yep so in other words someone else will maybe get killed and andrew has little justice all because someone with power (maybe) decided their little bit of sexual gratification and ego was more important. Jesus that is bad.... It would make sense too. Sadly enough people like this usually get to be in powerful positions because they are narcissists and are quite happy to s**t on other people to get promotions....
She won’t stop behaving like this as she doesn’t seem to receive any negative consequences for her selfish bonkers psycho behaviour The first boyfriend even took her back after she dumped him…. I wonder if she would have got so far with a less attractive face It’s amazing what people will tolerate when beauty is also in the mix
She bought a gun, cut copies of his keys and stayed in his home for days, just waiting. This was not only premeditated, but an amazing example of weird passion laws in europe. Between Spain & France, it's amazing there's not more couples just going at one another for ending relationships.
What I took from this is she spent 13 years at a resort and when got out went back to vacationing and partying like she didn’t do anything wrong plus she didn’t have to pay a dime for anything. This is pitiful. They should all be ashamed of themselves. She should be in prison for her entire life suffering daily!
@@kheldaur2107 Maybe he should've dated women his own age instead of women 20+ years younger than him. Like, guys, go for older women who have lived a more experienced life and would be able to have a conversation with you that you can get. I feel bad for him being stalked and murder and his abusive ex walking away... But I've seen how hurt my older sister felt with her older boyfriend. They dated for five years, he was seventeen years older than her and was a divorce man with two kids and a decent income. The broke up when she realized he didn't want any more kids and that he was most likely never going to propose to her. The red flag for me was always the large age gap. She was 24 when they started dating and he was 41. She was genuinely in love with him and I always felt like he was into her because she was young and thus satisfied his midlife crisis that he had after his divorce. The fact that he never met any of us during the whole relationship was also another red flag. Maybe Andrew is a nice guy, but I'm a lot more suspicious of men who date women that weren't even born in the same decade as them. Before you bring up double standards, do you actually know any women who have actively dated men +20 years younger than them? I'm still suspicious of that.
@@carsfan1995 ikr. Guy wanted them fresh off the cradle. It's unfortunate that he died this way, but when your selling point is money, then you'll attract the crazies.
It almost seems as if the townspeople knew Mayka's parents had enabled her selfish behavior her entire life... I bet they've seen some things. The fact that her parents paid her legal bills after murdering a man is quite telling. The audacity of this woman to sleep in his bed and eat his food while plotting to kill him, then get out of prison (wtf?!) and flash her lifestyle in everyone's faces, is appalling. I'm surprised she didn't try to kill the fiancé that night, and I have a feeling that won't be Mayka's last time in prison.
She'll be just fine and live a long, happy life after this. Quit fooling yourself, pretty white women never face any real consequences in western courts😭😭😭
Exactly. And the big difference between her and the fiancé is, despite being even younger, the fiancé had ambition, got an education, worked and was achieving her own success, Mayka didn't. She felt her looks should bring her success, modeling and most importantly, landing a big fish.
tbh I don't think she was planning to kill him that whole time spending in his apartment, she might just thought she would get him back when he saw her in the night gown waiting for him in his house. she might just snapped when she saw him getting back home with his fiance, saw him ran back to his fiance in the truck, that made her got jealous and decided to kill him. because if she had that intention the whole time she would have shot the couple right at the moment they got in the house. it seemed like they talked for a while before she shot him, plus before this incident she never shown any intention of killing him, she just begged to get back together and stalked him tho. so that might be the benefactors that gave her the light sentence. I do think she deserves more jail time since she never actually loved that man, she just want fame, luxury lifestyle and attention and sadly she got all of that the whole time she was in prison. so she will never feel any remorse since that crime just accidentally gave her everything she wanted the whole time. hope karma catchs up to her
@@Ang.l.cra.6r35Most men see a pretty girl & if they are successful feel that pretty girl should be on by their side. Unfortunately as we all see it never last & something bad happens. I do think the blonde was narcissistic & had a screw loose!
I mean, their millionaire benefactor (who likes 'em young, and lives a lifestyle that reflects that) passed away without taking a wife, who'd split his fortune away from them. Money papers over a LOT of trauma.
As a true crime buff for almost all my life, I am no longer emotionally equipped to watch unsolved cases and cases where the killer walks free. I just can’t do it anymore 😢
@@that.ll_do_pig dumb ass that doesn’t fit the narrative for this story. If she would have waited tell marriage and married a guy and waiting tell she got that ring she wouldn’t have felt as if something was robbed from her and wouldn’t have been that emotional and he’s a dumb ass for sleeping outside of marriage as well and going for a girl outside of 5 years of his age
The scariest part of this story is someone like this will do this again. You don't commit such a cold hearted crime then just move on that short sentence will get someone else killed.
I'm so glad I'm married and don't have to worry about this kind of craziness. I, as a man approaching 40, will NEVER understand older men's obsession with being romantically connected with such young women (comparatively).
It's simple. For some insane reason, they feel young dating and or marrying and having children with younger women. In addition, the "wow" factor from peers.
Dating a much younger woman is like a trophy to some older guys. It feeds the older man's ego. Dating a much younger woman makes him feel more superior.
Wow! Mayka was rewarded for her action ( too little time given), while Andrew's family was punished: the lost of a love one! Rest in peace Andrew! Comfort to the family and friends! 🙏😔
I've never heard of a prison with a swimming pool that's not a proper sentence. A proper sentence would be making her own handbags with her own two hands
smile for the camera, sweetie. you wanted all this attention, you got it. rest in peace, andrew. you seemed like a genuinely kind hearted and loving man.
well at least i can confirm it has reached slovakia at this point (and sorry to say that the name pronunciation has been butchered - not that she deserves better
I dated a younger woman and she couldn’t understand why I was sad most of the time after my dad passed away. Instead of explaining to her why, I just walked away. Two months later, she was pregnant with another guys kid. Dodged a bullet. Huge disconnect.
Money. She didn’t want to lose the money. If you are a rich old man and a beautiful young woman is interested. It is definitely not you they are interested in.
Surprisingly, many men think they can be attractive to young women forever. Doesn't matter their age, as long as they take care of their body and/or their finances. They rationalize it with arguments like: "women don't care about looks", "women only care about feeling protected", "if I workout regularly I can be as attractive as a young man", etc... Let's not underestimate human's nature to believe whatever makes us feel better about ourselves, even if that believe defies all logic. I had that kind of conversation with a rich old guy scammed by a young woman. The man was 100% sure he was more attractive than any man 3 times younger than him, just because he exercised regularly. Didn't matter his scam experience, and the different ways many people tried to make him see the truth, he never did. Men's ego is sometimes enormous and unbreakable. And it is often the reason of their own demise.
I was SO happy to see a new one again, Adrian. May sound weird, but your voice is calming and I needed calming today. Thanks. The stories are always heart tugging.

He thought he was getting arm Candy. She thought she could control a desperate older man. This dynamic from the get go, toxic. These cases always demonstrate relationships that never have real genuine feelings. There’s always start with some power dynamic, on either side. But always demonstrate flags from the off.
@@soldatheero allowing this type of behaviour suggests he was a desperate insecure man. Yes, but men in their 40s and 50s still think that we, women in our 20s would take a look at a man who has a similar age with our fathers. 😂 The ones who would take a second look would be because of money, nothing else.

The moral of the story is that if you ever dump a psycho, change your locks and your phone. So sad, Andrew lost his life by this psycho even when he did the right thing by dumping her. I hope karma finds her for what she did. People should find her social media and call her out on this before she ruins another life.

She didn‘t care for him, why would she put her life at risk for some old dude. She was after his money and there are plenty of men with money. It didn‘t make a difference if the man with money was Andrew the oldie or someone else.
Considering Andrew has been adressed as "strong" multiple times and both women originating from countries, where men are considered to be the strong part in the relationship, I could imagine that she'd genuinely believed, he had the situation under control......
@@MissesHappyPunk No no, I am from Eastern Europe too and believe me, there are many cases when women lose their lives in a conflict because they jump to protect a male relative (usually the father though). Why did the judge say it wasn’t premeditated/preplanned?!!? She spent several days driving there and several more at his house, that’s PLENTY of time for someone to cool off and realize what they’re doing… Plus, lying about the pregnancy makes it even more clear that she was NOT there to give him any type of news. Such a disgrace from the justice system! I’m glad I don’t live in whatever country they’re in. So pathetic!!
I cant imagine it taking HOURS for the cops & help to show up! If that happened in the US there would be widespread outrage and demands for people to be fired because thats ridiculous
Well you hit the nail in the coffin. Clearly she is messing with an official and the judicial system in that country is corrupt. Thanks for the video and making us aware that they live among us.
If she refuses to pay, she should be put back to jail, legally speaking! Why she can still roam free on the streets and beaches! I hope the Authority or the judge can issue an order to right the wrong ASAP. The Andrew family needs to take an action ASAP.
For real though. If when he was with Majka he was 48 and his daughter was 19, when he dated Maria, the next year, who was 20 his daughter... was also 20. The guy was literally dating women the same age as his daughter. That's so disgusting and creepy. I wouldn't be able to respect my dad if he did that. And she was probably scared to introduce any of her pretty friends to him.
Wow 15 years for a murder that involved stalking, premeditation, breaking and entering, illegal purchase of a firearm, staging the crime scene, grand theft auto, and evading arrest/fleeing the country is absolutely reprehensible. Then to have it reduced to only 8 years served!! Pretty privilege is real, but this is beyond that. This is incompetence within the legal system.
"There was one problem, Peter was still in the picture. And what do you think mayka did with him? She dropped his ass like a sack of potatoes" Well, basically that's all you need to know. In fact, "she often wanted to be in the center of attention" is literally a red alert. Be careful with these types of people.
One word: Psycho. There's nothing else. Goes to the man's house and waits. Very calculating. She deserves life or the death penalty. Can not believe she got away with it. Sad situation😢

It's so sad what happened to Andrew. As for her, it's terrible that she got away and that people follow her on Instagram or whatever. No ethics or morals
Love you Adrian!!! Fantastic channel!! Interesting story, just sickening the amount of time she got- she laid in wait for Andrew- broke into his home- lied about being pregnant, which was the supposed reason for the “argument” & shot him dead - no words for that, except murder- God bless Andrews family --
What an absolute dumpster fire this case was. You're right about the Spanish justice system. Having lived in Spain myself i know how corrupt and UNjust it can be. I really hope she gets what she deserves one way or another. Be such a shame say, if a group of Spanish girls were to 'accidently' beat the crap out of her.
Her using her clandestinely-copied key to get into his house, lounge around in her pajamas for hours, certainly gave her premeditation time. As such, she should have gotten life without the possibility of parole. Yes, in a Spanish prison, which are not well-known for their comfort. I'm actually surprised that Maria got away. I expected you to say that she too was killed, or at least an attempt made, when she went to the window of the HumVee. I certainly am glad that she was not attacked! I feel sorry for what happened to the parents, who put their house on the line to pay her legal fees and fines. It's too bad that she would rather live the good life, at least per the posted photographs, than to provide her parents with a place to live. I'm sorry they were shunned and run out of their town. Mayka... those people are smart to want nothing to do with her.
