That's interesting because it's only ever came up in sim gameplay; but the sim oddly enough allows me to add a life at 0 even if I don't 'take a life' which I'd assume could be a bug? LOL Never really gave it much thought, but otherwise could just be the one interaction that does not come up in 99% gameplay so could be just that.

Typically try to mulligan for your 3-5 cost mid range targets. Laboon and kuzan are your best 4 don plays. 2k counters and viola are nice to see as well. Of course seeing your top end is what you mulligan for in certain match ups. But typically have a mulligan hand for things to play from 3-9 don play before you reach 10 don late game. Sometimes you might mulligan for ice age and buzz cut in certain match ups too but otherwise it's pretty straight forward. You mulligan for value cards the same way purple luffy mulligans for value cards and plays off of that.

I've oddly enough, never struggled against hawkins in a boney matchup, it always came down to cost reduction, swing with all my characters and KO with kyros lead ability. Hawkins dies due to no active characters on my board. Or of course buzz cut mochi as well. Super easy, HOWEVER, If boney see's 3-4 hody jones, you're pretty much cooked. Just about every deck will struggle against multiple[le hody Jones spam. Sabo is def a pain in the ass, however, B/Y luffy is a deck where, half of the time it may or may not even get to the board state of the gecko loop, and may just spam the 5 drops on board. Since the tourney was a variety regionals, it made lots of sense to split the weight between law and luffy. Buzz cut for the law, and 8 drop kat for the luffy. Which always pairs well into gecko/lucci for their moria as well. 6 drop brook is nice and KO's anything on board, however, being able to remove gecko and put it into luffies life to clog up thier combo can sometimes be more impactful than a 6c brook. It comes down to, if the representation of luffy was potentially far more than law, you could replace buzz cut with 6 brook and you'd have the brook/kat to help out with that matchup far more. Oddly enough, sabo in lets say, lucci or moria doesn't hurt as bad as it does in luffy (from my experience) I've kept toe to toe with lucci and moria all the time, but for luffy, it def comes down to how good their draws are. But even so, I've found kat was all I needed to make that 50/50 match up against luffy to be comfortable. I could easily tech more into them, but it might make my other matchups harder. A rogue deck can only have so much win percentage against the meta because of how tight the list would be come. Then lastly, going into the next format of op07 ban list nationals. I would say luffy and bonney will be the top 2 contender for sure, therefore becoming a great option to throw in the onami for the meta. (it's def good against law but sometimes hard to setup bc of how fast they are) Now since the meta will be much slower without law, def adding in onami will be a nice option to throw in from a hiroyi combo. The list would still be tight, but the ban list will help change the decklist to afford more tech options against other new threats as well.

@@Kintizen My plans for OP08 are to dive into another journey with a new favorite dual color of mine; KING. For the kyros fans, I may go out of my way to formulate and create a op08 list to showcase how I'd play and build that leader in that specific set with all the new toys
