I always find your videos so calming. The music and your soothing voice always relaxes me and relieves anxiety. And the nostalgia factor puts me in a good place, as well. I had to go grab my new Fire Red 5s I picked up at the mall yesterday while I watched this. 😄

My brother, I have been watching your channel for many many years. We have previous chatted in the past couple of years, anywho I have a 1 of 1 sample from 1996 Barkley’s that I believe that you have never seen that’s awesome history for OG’s like yourself . I may shout it to your Instagram this week. You might remember me I was used your air Jordan 7 hare pictures to make a RU-vid vid when they release several years ago. I also have tons of OG Jordan’s, Shaw’s and other stuff.

this was my FIRST pair of jordans....i worked all summer cutting grass to buy them as a kid hahah....they were $125 .....the jordan 5 is in my top 5 favorite jordans....

I'm definitely going to add these to my collection for the OG colorways in terms of the retros but this particular 5 I was never excited about. I prefer the white fire red 5 3M tongue colorway a lot more. Great vid!

In 1990 I was 12 I wanted the metallic 5s so bad but they were sold out of my sz so I ended up getting the fire reds that just dropped this weekend no to to mention first J I ever owned so glad to hold that shoe agin this weekend brings me back. But to the store my dad bought the 1990 black tongue same day and I think it’s still at my parents I’m gotta go see if so I’ll send pics. Much love thanks for the videos.

It's crazy how much they have messed with the shape of 5s...nobody seems to ever talk about how the collar of the shoe is now like higher in the front n lower n more narrow in the back

So I use to work for my uncles construction company, the client that we were building a house for knew I like wearing Jordan shoes and gave me those Jordan 5s, a pair of 12 retro flu game, and a pair of Jordan 6 retro infrared that I really like. Sadly they’re in bad condition but they were free so I’ll probably either fix them myself or bring it to a store that can repair them. I really like the retro 6s by far but the fire red black tongue are really nice too :D

Also a few months after I got these shoes I moved to another job that was closer to my home. Apparently the client that gave me these shoes was a famous football player. I feel so dumb because I don’t know who he was nor do I watch sports 🥲

@GMS 1 Thank you I like your list as well ! I like the 7s and they are in my top 10 Jordan List, infact the Dream Team and Raptors are my favorite colorways of the 7. However I disagree with you while yes that 92 TrailBlazers are underrated and Jordan was a beast. I feel 1995-96 and 1996-97 was MJ at the top of his game. The dude was just a beast in those seasons in my opinion

@GMS 1 all og pairs 5-8 from that time frame have some form of durabuck on them. Durabuck was just the synthetic material used by nike at the time. It's like a mix of all kinds of leathers.

dude i wouldnt touch it, its an antique museum piece & its an original, if you change the rubber or leather it wont be an original anymore, i dont think they are worth restoring imo, the leather, stitching & rubber is totally gone, i have a very similar pair of 5s slowly deteriorating, i look forward to its aging, ive seen high end boutique shops displaying old rotten Jordans in a glass case preserved, looks cool bro

Good Steal Marv Not A Bad Price See Mines Already Been Soleswapped And Good Condition Even With The Yellow Soles When I Bought Em Along With Original Box I Thought To Myself I Was Trying To Turn Em Down Til I Made That Decision And Did It These Shoes Like This Are Hard To Come By I Don’t Care If It A Dog Chew It Or Whatever I Get The Original Pair That’s Me All The Way
