Seems like a simple video! But many of my friends that are aircraft owners don’t know how to change their own oil. Great job. I use gloves every time and a very long and skinny funnel instead of the tube. I do not use cam guard but instead the 100W Plus aeroshel. Nice work overall.
I am not sure which subscription the team got but more importantly Savvy is beyond just analytics. They have many resources and are willing to respond to questions and really help their buyers.
Is this for mechanics? Sounds like how to for non-mechanics. Waste a lot time on obvious stuff, and talking about what you're going to talk about. Sure glad you pointed out the safety wire cuz AP school and Navy never mentioned that. Pls put "for dummies' in title.
Thanks. No this is not for A&Ps. This is for owners that want to change their own oil. We want to get ideas from others on what they do to make the process better.
@@e3aviationassociation good response, keep it up. 'mechanis, for non-mechanics minds' is a concept I can't compute, so good for you to train up such individuals.
Nice job but a couple things. I hope you warmed up the engine before you let the oil out. Also safety glasses and rubber gloves should have been worn. I always hold onto the end of the safety wire that goes flying some where that you can't find before cutting. I also put oil onto the new rubber seal filter before install. Hope this helps. Tom .
@thomasmurray1807 @thomasmurray1807 Thanks Tom. Yes. See part 2 Tuesday night. Your right glasses should have been worn. The engine was warm. not Hot. We did mention that. Thanks and we have you in the bucket for a membership. More to come.
