In this video I show you how I updated the old roof on our abandoned mobile home renovation project. The old roof was a tin roof with no overhangs. I installed an overhang all around the home. Then I installed a new asphalt / fiberglass laminate roof complete with ice and water shield.
This was a BIG improvement to this old home.

Sorry it wasn't feasible for you to record the roof installation, I totally understand. My question is did you lay the plywood directly on the tin roof or did you add furring strips on the roof first?

Guessing he installed furring strips so there was a air channel from the soffit to the box vents? But I dont see a gap from underneath. Was going to ask a question myself, like how much further would he dare to have a overhang using that method..
