I haven’t even TOUCHED Undertale Yellow and have only read the wiki (I know this is bad, but I promise, I will soon) and can confirm I am a certified Starlo Kinnie teehee. This is represented perfectly, I love how it’s written in the perspective of a citizen (much like the Sweetheart song, with it being the sproutmoles). It captures how the people play along with his role as a sheriff, and entertaining the fun play. It’s a very cute song in retrospect, I'm OBSESSED. Raise your glass, folks!

This is so good! I'm curious to why you made the creative choice to sing this from a third‐person point of view (who I assume to be Ceroba) when Me, Instead and Run Away were both sung in first person. Is that because this is being sung for North Star instead of by Starlo? I also like the irony in this being called The Old North Star when, in reality, he's a new development-- Starlo was there before North Star. Furthermore, even if he's not considered separate from his persona, he can't be the old North Star when it's existed millenia before him. No matter how you look at it, this is sung from a monster's POV who doesn't know about the stars nor who he was before--- more a folk song *about the myth* than one made *by the monster.* Which is great whiplash considering it feels it could be sung BEFORE canon rather than the other songs sung in what seems to be nearing the end of canon. Also the detail that- since monsters in the Lower Underground haven't met humans until now, nor know much about the Surface- they wouldn't know about the real North Star or Polaris to begin with. Thus, he's their old reliable, ignorant to the fact he isn't an old development at all. I really liked the irony dripping from this song!
