I’ve seen the dead bodies found in the West Memphis three case, and I can assure you they did indeed look like mannequins. You can even watch the documentary here on RU-vid it’s called Paradise lost, that image has stuck with me and I will never forget it. On top of it there are plenty of videos here on RU-vid of Indians from India fishing out dead bodies from the rivers and they all look so white like a mannequins too

I'm not sure which database he's looking at. It's considered a cold case in Sequoyah County, Oklahoma and with OSBI. Her case has been in the media... internet and television. It isn't hard to find. My problem is with OSBI. They refused to test the genetic material because they said it was too expensive. My husband and I offered to pay for it and were ignored. For those saying "it's never a mannequin" I have a story... I was 8 years old, riding in the car to visit my grandma in the winter. Out the window I SWORE I saw a baby laying in a ditch under a tree in a red sleeper. My family didn't believe me. I begged and pleaded for someone to drive me back to the spot. Finally my aunt agreed. When she saw what I saw, she ran down in the ditch to the "baby"...she thought it was a baby too. It ended up being a 3-d wall hanging picture of Santa 😂 It looked JUST like a baby laying in the snow in a red sleeper! I don't regret going back to check. Most people haven't ever stumbled upon anything as horrific as a body of a murder victim, and certainly aren't expecting to. Many people haven't ever seen a dead body in any setting. I think (just an opinion, I think this would be true for me at least)it's natural for some people to assume it's fake at first because the alternative is so far removed from anything they've ever seen or experienced. Not that we would necessarily have ever just found a weird random mannequin in the middle of nowhere either but you probably get what I'm saying lol.

"It's never a mannequin" well, sometimes it is. Funny story incoming: Back in 2000 I was a photographer for JC Penney/Lifetouch. We had these baby training dummies that were surprisingly lifelike for about 9 month old babies. One time my manager and I had to travel to another studio to train new associates. So we get to this mall and unload the "babies" from the trunk of the car. Now maybe it was our mom tendencies but we both carried each "infant" on our hips into the JC Penney's. About 4 hours later after the training session we were headed back to the car and waiting for us was two police officers who had gotten a call about potential child abuse. We cleared it up pretty quickly, since we had the dolls with us and all, and it's still a funny tale to this day. After our studio closed I got to keep one of the dolls too. Honestly, I'm glad someone spoke up and it was nothing, rather than see something and say nothing and it be a real problem.

This was very interesting, thank you for the different cases. Cold cases are so horrible, it means victims families never have an end to their suffering, it also means perpetrators are still out there reigning terror on someone somewhere, as they don’t tend to stop unless they are caught. I hope with all the new advances in DNA that are happening, that everyone’s case will be solved one day. ❤️Jodie 🇦🇺

It almost seems worse when it is known who killed someone, but nothing will ever come of it for various reasons. I've told this on some other channels also; I became a private investigator on my own because of my father's death. Warren A. Hitchcock was last seen alive by his brother Frank on Nov.28, 1970. He'd been staying with him at his home at 96 Heath St., Hartford, CT, and my father had left to "go get his family back." His VW Beetle was found on the Glastonbury side of the then toll Putnam Bridge (CT route 3), which spans the CT river. He had previously attempted suicide, so nobody found it out of order --although a loose search yielded nothing (I was surprized at how half-assed it was, from what I read). My mother told little 5 year old me that "Daddy jumped off a bridge" She made damn sure to plant that seed...Nice. Thank GOD that a pleasure boater noticed what looked like a body on Penikese Island, Gosnald, MA on Feb.24, 1971. Recovered on the 26th by Mass. State Police with a Coast Guard helicopter (this in a report I finally managed to get 51 years later)...he was fully clothed still except for one shoe. Case was closed at that point. In the summer of 1985 I briefly lived with my uncle...and he told me that he believed my mom had lied to me, and that he believed it was foul play. That's when I started my investigation. When someone is having issues and is suicidal, it's easy to have that person suicided. He was 25, and it destroyed our family. Everyone. My mother married who I suspect got rid of him, as he was into major organized crime. He lives scott-free and his home is one town over from me (they divorced years ago). Sorry, but I don't think that if someone jumped where he supposedly did (in his car was a staged bunch of valium on the seat, would'nt he have taken them?), they're not going to float 140 miles and wind up fully clothed on an island after 3 months in the water. None of us talks to mom any more, I have'nt seen her since 1996 (there's more good reasons). Damn it all!

Wyoming here. Too many places to disappear or hide a body here. And my spouse grew up here and said finding human bones wasn’t uncommon when hunting/camping as a kid and it raises very few eyebrows. It was explained to me that years ago it was soooo tough on hunters that relied on hunting to provide food that many died each year when doing last minute hunting (especially when winter hit earlier than expected). There was almost an accepted amount of casualties to hunting and bodies were rarely recovered.

Lisa Au's case in Hawaii is one of two unsolved cases featuring a young Asian woman. It was theorized there was a man impersonating police pulling single young women over and kidnapping them. It changed protocol for both police and citizens, and since then, we are warned to keep our car doors locked and only roll down our window a crack for a cop. If it feels fishy, we are urged to drive to the nearest police station. This advice would be useful today against the recent high numbers of auto hijackings. Still today, when I gas up, I take my wallet and keys and lock the car behind me, while using the pump or anything else.

The oldest cold case in Hawaii is that of 13-year-old Dawn "Dee" Bustamante. In 1975, Dee and her friend Cherry McCoy (formerly Verdugo), we abducted, and sexually assaulted. However, Dee was shot after she was sexually assaulted but Cherry managed to escape. A suspect belived to be the murder, was arrested in 2001, but was released 14 months later. It's both sad and disturbing that this happened. All the victims on this list that were murder before they reached adulthood is truly saddening.

Josiah Moore family and two sisters of another family were found murdered by an axe in Villisca, Iowa on the night of June 10,1912. There were several suspects, but the murders are still unsolved today, so your segment on Iowa in this video is incorrect due to the above information. Also for Oklahoma two little girls were abducted/murdered in 1967, which are also unsolved. Their names are Judith Ann Ellwell and Brenda White.

So sad... it's so hard losing a family member and not knowing why... When I was 16 my mom went missing.. cops didnt do anything because she was a recovering addict that was sizophetic. They said she'd show back up eventually. But my family and I all believed my grandfather had something to do with it. There were just too many things pointing to him and he was very abusive towards her. Ten years later she was found a ten minute walk into the woods behind the house she lived in with him. Unfortabtly time cleared all evidence. But the police know that she wasn't there when they first investigated because they had used dogs in the area and she would have been found. He was never charged and died in a hospital.. choked to death on a peanutbutter sandwich. Karama comes.... eventually.
