As someone who's been getting into boot construction lately, especially hand made, high durability boots this video is fascinating. There are some good things going on with these boots, but there are a lot of bad things too. These are a very modern construction, not like the older styles of boots. I'm wondering how old this factory really is? We have a company here that has been making boots for 125 years, and they are still use about 80-90 percent of that old process. Sometimes the older methods are superior.

So there really was no point in stepping in the foam to make the plaster mold. All they ended up using it for was to smoosh it into the cork for the insole. And then the guy making the boot basically shaved all the cork off anyway

salut , bien sûr que sur le travail effectué il n't a rien à dire !! mais étant dans le domaine je suis un peu étonné que nombre de couture ne soit pas stoppé par un point d'arrêt ??? hors le point zig zag qui lui l'est !!? même si bon nombre de couture sont couverte par d'autres pièces de cuir il n'en reste pas moins qu'une couture a plus de chance de se défère si elle n'est pas stoppé !?? après sans doute y a t'il une raison à cela et je serais curieux de la connaître !!?? malgré ce détail je reste admiratif du travail d'ailleurs je verrais bien des chaussures de cette qualité à la vente dans ma petite échoppe de cordonnier !!! surtout monté de la sorte je sais que je peux proposer un SAV de qualité étant donné que je suis un cordonnier traditionnel ne faisant que de la réparations sur toute sorte de choses chaussures bien sûr mais aussi sellerie maroquinerie etc mais pas de clefs ou autres vente de gravure ou pile pour montre !!! si toute fois vous pouvez m'apporter une réponse à ma question sur les coutures je vous en serez reconnaissant merci force et respect

Beaucoup trop de coutures, autant de point de faiblesse pour des chaussures de montagnes, nos anciens l'avaient bien compris et faisaient des chaussures avec une seule piéce pour la tige!

I hope those do not cost that much as there is barely any quality material in those boots. The people making them seem very qualified just low quality materials.
