This is an EXCELLENT lesson. Best sounding and closest to the song I've heard. This song has been covered in many lessons on RU-vid but this is-by far-the best one. Good job sir.

This is the cleanest rendition with the best tone I've seen...this is exactly how I play it. So many people play it...especially the opening riff with more of a power chord sound to the Em and Dsus...you can do that but it kind of washes out the clean tone of the riff. In the bands I've played in a 2nd guitar played the more open power chord backing.

Excellent lesson, thanks for putting the effort to make the tabs available. Your channel is much better than some of the most popular who are lazy but I guess people think their funny or something and have a large following. Personally I don't get it, keep up the good work.

Indeed a sparkling clarity that resembles Peter Buck's great guitar playing very well, even without that Rickenbacker sound. I also like the tablature very much! I'm a singing guitarist and therefore this is a little too much, but I can easily simplify it so it won't get in the way of the vocals.

Thanks Mike! It's a 1971 original Fender Tele... it's had a re-fret... but otherwise original. It was made in the month I was born! In fact if you take the neck off it is stamped 3 APR 71... which is my birthday. It wasn't actually made on the 3rd... the Telecaster is model 3... the Strat is model 5 etc. But I love the fact that it has my birthday on the neck!

Howdy! Are you having any issues with copyright by playing a backing track?(monetizing, strikes, etc...)

Hi there! I don't monetise anything... so it is only a visibility problem for me. Occasionally I've had to speed/slow a couple of songs... and one is not available in USA/Canada... but apart from that my mixes seem to work out ok.

@@CWZGuitar No problem... average across the channel is 2:05. But the lesson versions (with tab on screen) averages over 3:00 as they are longer videos.
