9:13 actually, sprint jumping is more effective in 2 block high spaces because you hit the ground faster and can jump sooner. It drains your food like crazy, but it's essential for nether tunnels that don't utilize ice roads, imo

@unlimitedduckgamer
@unlimitedduckgamer Год назад
It would be a waste of materials just to fill in an entire hollow hill. What you should do when terraforming is double stack the blocks when building up the layers, like how Fwhip does it when he builds a hill, rather then filling in the entire terraformed hill. It saves on resources(and gathering) while making it so breaking one block doesn't just make you fall right into the hill.

Pro tip with all of the pressure plate points in the video: if you have access to worldedit or op/Debug Stick you can set the pressure plate to "powered" mode and that will prevent it from activating if someone steps on it. Corners windows can be actually a thing, but it depends on the type of build you are, well.. building! I know that in most of them, it looks off. But some modern or futuristic architectures can some times have it without looking weird. It always depends on which is the structure you're relying on your build.
@ItsImagineThis
@ItsImagineThis Год назад
And also if you layer it right. If you make the building two blocks thick, and layer the windows on the interior wall, then you can have an exterior foundation wrapping around it- but if you flush it onto one layer, then things might start looking weird- at least that’s from my experience, I can’t guarantee it’s good experience XD$

11:31 (the non expanding floor thing/support beam ones) don’t worry I do this 24/7 no matter what. Edit: I mean non-terrain expanding floor.

A minor pet peeve of mine, especially in village builds, is using job blocks as accents and decoration, like barrels and lecterns. They look great, but if you decide to populate it, you'll end up with a village populated entirely by fishermen even tho it's far away from any lake or sea

for the trapdoor/slab on fence, just use a piston head facing up

It’s funny, I used dirt as insulation for my second branch of slime manor. It looks so cool, I lit up all the outside and gated my land so it’s absolutely safe from any mobs. Had to do it because of moving villagers to my mansion so it’s not so empty.

the thing with point 20 is that if you make a mountain 100 blocks tall it will be very hard to get enough blocks to fill it all in

I (builder) always make the rooms 4 block high, but then i use a slab at the top so it's just 3,5 blocks hight. So if i wanna use sealanters or anything else in the floor from the next floor. You also don't see water drops. I also don't hit my head. If you wanna have a house with with enderman proof you can also just make the room 3 blocks hight and use a slab at the top, then it's 2,5 blocks high.

7:08 this happened to me once. i couldn't sleep but i saw no monsters. after a few nights of this, i dug the wall behind my bed (it was an underground base) there was a creeper that blew up my house. if you don't have enough blocks to fill it in, at least light it up

2:16 don't build your house using double slabs, it'd a waste of materials and time in another video of skip: build your house with slabs so it won't be exploded easily

Remember it's all subjective! I for instance love builds that include pressure plates, because i love the sound.

The Fairchild Republic A-10 Thunderbolt II is a singe-seat, twin-turbofan, straight-wing, subsonic attack aircraft devolved by Fairchild Republic for the United States Air Force (USAF). In service since 1976, is is named for the Republic 9-47 Thunderbolt, a World-War II Era fighter-bomber effective at attacking ground targets, but commonly referred to as the "Warthog" or "Hog." The A-10 was designed to provide close air support (CAS) to friendly ground troops by attacking armored vehicles, tanks, and other enemy ground forces; it is the only production-built aircraft designed solely for CAS to have served with the U.S Air Force. It’s secondary mission is to direct other aircraft in attacks on ground targets, a role called forward air controller-airborne; aircraft used primarily in this role are designated OA-10.
