After more than 3 years as Inspirato members, we’ve canceled our Pass membership. The program felt increasingly focused on tourism hotspots and resort travel throughout North America, while our family was craving more culture, adventure, and authenticity in remote parts of the world. That passion brought us to Anantara. They offer so much more than luxury lodging - they’re architects of extraordinary memories. Where Inspirato spoke to our family budget, Anantara speaks to our family’s soul. We encourage you to click through for details of our expanding travels with this great brand. followabc.com/anantara
We canceled our Inspirato membership last year. The company has had a lot of turnover at the executive level and has had some major financial challenges. We were failing to see the value that the program offered years ago.
I’m not sure I fully understand what you guys mean when you say you payed a certain amount in “pass days”. I thought the way Inspirato works is you pay 2.5k a month and go to wherever they have to offer for the pass members for no added cost?
That’s how it had worked in the pass but they a different system now that became more of an advantage for members. A trip will “cost” a certain amount of Pass days and then you can’t book a new trip until those days have passed - even if you haven’t left for the original trip yet.
@@AlwaysBeChanging oh so it’s not actually a 7 day waiting period to book a new trip after your previous one like as advertised? But instead however many pass days that trip is worth is how long you have to wait to book again?
@@jianipierre5040 exactly. I actually haven’t heard of a seven day waiting period and we’ve been members for over 3 years. I wonder if that’s outdated 🤔 Happy to help if you h add be other questions.
Used your link to start up my membership back in March and the only promo offered was paying 6 or 12 months upfront for $1500 or $2500 travel credit. I have enjoyed the 3 stays since joining but support at time hasn’t been the best until escalated to social media i.e the Facebook group. Definitely worth the price with the on-site team and massive private villas or homes. We are a family of 3 and try to book as often to get max value but unless we book a big house and gather a group we will be forced to use 20+ days for a one bedroom
Thank you for using us as your referral, Daniel! The promos they offer when you join or renew your membership keep changing, either quarterly or monthly, but they’re always there. For our first renewal, we were offered a bonus trip for each 6 months pre-paid (we used it to go to Aspen for three nights and Punta de Mita for 4 nights), and this year we were offered one trip in their bonus trip list for a 12 month renewal. We haven’t actually used that yet. I’m happy to hear you’ve enjoyed the trips you’ve taken so far. I’m sorry to hear you haven’t gotten what you’ve needed from your team. Which region are you in? We haven’t had any complaints regarding our Pass team but I honestly don’t feel like I need them for much more than basic membership questions. I heavily rely on the trip planners and concierge after we’ve booked. I do a good amount of research on my own before deciding where to book. And we both find the member’s Facebook group invaluable! Daniel, don’t hesitate to reach out to us if you need any advice on trips, destinations, booking, getting the best value out of it, etc. We hope you find as much joy and value as we have. We are always willing to share our secrets :)- Erin
