Chapman had to pay the price for the rest of the 95-96 season and 96playoffs as shown in the video, and even the 96-97, 97-98 season when he was traded to Phoenix, to deal with Jordan's revenge. In the five matchups after this game, Rex scored averaging 8.6 points on 32.7% shooting against Jordan through the 1998 season. on the other hand, Jordan gave it back averaging 33 points on 52.4% shooting.

Agreed. I watch so many games back then. Truth be told, we didn't have as many options as we do today. Basketball is cool, but have you watched any Euroleague football matches recently? Definitely worth a watch!

"Nobody had heard of Rex Chapman". What is this guy talking about? Chapman was a highly regarded top draft choice out of Kentucky who was an anomaly because he was a white guy with a purported 44" vertical leap.

.... and Michael torched him on the next match ups on Apr 2nd. and 4th. of '96 for 32 and 40 points both respectively. The game on the 26th of February Jordan still came out with 31 points vs Chapman's 39. I was a good for both teams, Rex just had a great game that night!

Rex Chapman already answered this wrong notion/information of him trashtalking MJ. He never trashtalked MJ, he only told MJ that they couldn't let Jordan make a dunk on them because that would totally set Jordan's gear. Just watch the interview with Rex Chapman in Dan Patrick Show's 5/19/2016.

I would say this, as much as people have disregarding the Golden State Warriors beating the 72 win Bulls team. If you notice in the history , good outside shooting like denver , and this game here shows that golden state would have had a shot. But what makes Jordan great and that Bulls team great is their consistency. you're talking about Rex Chapman's career day compared to another tuesday for the bulls.
