Lauren Bacall totally took on the look, voice and mannerisms of Slim Keith for her first movie with Humphrey Bogart. Slim was often around as her husband was then director Howard Hawks. She never stopped imitating 'Slim' in film and in real life for the rest of her days.

One difference in Slim she was friends with many people including Truman Capote but she never trusted him with her secrets as the others had done!

Slim was very much married to Howard Hawks when she began her affair with Leland Hayward. Her divorce from Hawks was very civilized.

They still don’t eat. It’s because they’re very wealthy cloth horses and appearance is everything.

@@aubreygomez89 they live on cigarettes, hence why so many of these society ladies ended up dying of lung cancer. It’s because they buy couture clothing throughout their lives and suppress their hunger in order to continually fit into the couture garments.
