What they forgot about Klaus is that he tends to make spectacle of those whom he executes, he would have boasted Aiden and paraded his corpse as a warning.

What do you mean they are always doing this? Klaus did this to all his brothers when they took his candy. And especially Finn or Rebekah. I didn’t like Finn that much but after your brother letting you stay in a coffin for 900 years I think I would want revenge to.

The problem with this isn’t that Klaus doesn’t deserve it, it’s that it the wrong time. Klaus is clearly the smartest and most strategic which means Dahila feared him the most.

He doesn’t deserve it at all because he was right. Not in hindsight, but in foresight. THEY DON’T KNOW FREYA FROM A CAN OF PAINT! The fact that they were so easily willing to trust her after 1. She plotted with Finn to kill Hope 2. Was being used by Dahlia as a conduit 3. Has been with Dahlia for 1000 years and is who Dahlia raised her to be for better or worse!!!

I get that klaus needed a taste of his own medicine but was now the right time? When his daughter is at the most danger of her life?? I swear for being the oldest family in history, the Mikaelsons sure are easily manipulated by literally anyone. He supposedly killed Aiden (how not one person in that bar saw his surprised face is beyond me) why is it such a big deal?? This is unfortunately the norm for him. The only person strong enough and diabolical enough to save hope is klaus.

@@nora_1995 THey are not afraid he would literally hurt her or intentionally do so... They are worried that he, because of his actions and behaviors, not matter his intentions, would end up creating a situation that would be detrimental for Hope... And if you are going to tell me that that it's impossible I would like to remind you that it has already happened before; thru his actions he has endangered Hope in the past already... He is very capable of "causing harm" to Hope that way, even if his intent is the complete opposite (and it isn't a spoiler to say that he will continue to be a unintentional danger to Hope in this way); he created this environment where Hope will always be in danger BECAUSE OF HIM, not to mention enemies like Dahlia who are after Hope herself, and he does this by the way that he behaved for 1k years but also by the way he continues to operate... That's their fear and why they are so fed up with his intrigue in this scenario

Even to this day, Aiden's death is one of the most brutal and heartbreaking deaths on the show. Absolutely tragic 💔💔💔 How ironic that Camille, a human bartender has soooo much power over Klaus, the original hybrid. Fascinating stuff right there

It’s the same with Caroline. He sees the pureness in them that he once had. So he “clings” on to them. It doesn’t matter if he’s an original he still has feelings that he doesn’t show. That’s his way of latching on to what he once was

Klaus was acting very foolish. He doesn't trust Elihah? Elijah out of his mind, still managed to keep Hope safe from Finn when he blew himself up. Dude should know by now Noone would do murderous deed than Elijah to keep his family safe. Klaus even benefitted from this, as Elijah mentioned je was about to kill him in Mystic falls and spared him after hearing Klaus didn't kill their siblings. No, I don't think Hayley should have run. But from a mother's perspective (seeing these God-like figures terrified, I'd run too, to give my child a chance), she could do nothing but run. And she hopes Dahlia falls back into her slumber. As for "the plan," Klaus changed his once he realized the original one wasn't going to work, so he should have been working with his siblings, who one is powerful witch, and other is an immortal like himself.

I agree that Cami being a therapist feels like such a lazy way to give us insight into Klaus's mind. I don't even remember seeing this used in another show tbh but it really stands out to me in this show as a low effort way to tell us who the character is without ever really showing us through the story.

Yes the timing is shitty but I HATE how klaus always acts the victim when they havent done anything remotely as bad as he did to all of them MULTIPLE times. I love this show but this always pisses me off. He's so childish and whenever he acts like he's never done anything wrong it makes me hate his guts
