Despite Marcel being stronger than the Originals now, he wouldn't be wise to mess with Hayley when she' trying to protect/save her daughter. You get between a mother and her baby, you better be ready to kiss your ass goodbye.

How awesome is Hayley!! She came a long way from that self centered hot babe in TVD. That five years that she had to face alone makes her stronger and even more resourceful than ever. Wish Rebecca and Kol could stick around though! Can't wait for the episode to air!

Marcel was never concerned about what Hayley was doing. As long as they were out of his town he didnt care. I dont even think he even entertained the thought that they could be alive.
His assistant told him they were tracking Haley all the way to Texas. Ergo if he wanted to kill Hayley he could have. Which is why the idea that he is just cant wait to kill the Originals is stupid. Granted I suppose Freya should be the most scared of getting axed. Whereas especially Rebekah and to a lesser extent Kol really shouldnt. Marcel is extremely unlikely to kill Rebekah. He could have when the assistant shot her. And Kol well they share Davina and have no real beef historically.
Can Elijah go one episode, scarce that....one scene without annoying the crap out of me? Hayley is trying to save hope n go talk to Marcel who was a friend to her before Elijah ripped his heart out n now Elijah is lecturing Hayley on who is an ally n who isn't? Really Elijah?
I dont think he is ready to take the accusation NOW. Five years back it was different, NOW it is different.... but we will have to season s4 to see how it goes. If he felt an ounce of guilt for what he did, we will find out in future episodes.
+eve adam in 3x22 he said that it wasn't marcel that caused this it was him. and It 3x21 he cried after he killed him. overall, I think Elijah can overcome guilt afterall they have all down horrible things for centuries
joe & Daniel i honestly I don't think that Elijah & frya did any thing wrong they chose their family over davina !! now let's assume that fraya & Elijah didn't sacrifice davina lucien would've killed Hayley or even Klaus and then you'd have blamed fraya & Elijah for not saving them !
Marcel is not the bad guy here, so I don't understand why they are trying to make us think that he is. Marcel would never hurt Hope, he is even willing to save her ! He was (kind of) a father once to Davina, he saved Hope while she was a baby and will surely do it again. Stop making him the bad guy because he has all the right to be pissed off at the Mikaelson.
I understand where Freya comes from : searching for an eternity her family and then finding them and nearly losing them. But she's too "new" to understand the relationship between Marcel and the Mikaelson. As Klaus said family is not only about blood. For Freya blood is one of the only thing that links her to her "family". She's so afraid to lose them that she'll mess up and lose them anyway

...I actually think Marcel is pretty damn reasonable. I like the fact he's not just 100% crazy, evil and petty. He's actually a very layered character who, even though he currently hates the Michelsons, still won't let anything bad happen to Klaus's daughter if he can help it. I don't need him to be best buds with the Michelsons again but I would still like him alive (Albeit, a little less overpowered please).
It could well be, I just like that in 1x05 (or 1x06) Hayley asks how Sophie can be so sure that Celeste/Sabine's vision isn't true - it'd be sooo amazing for it to come full circle like that!
The writing seems a little strange this season. Haley's now asking Marcel for help with this new threat to Hope. Elijah and Klaus don't seem that concerned about Marcel killing her. Their letting her go without backup. Yet, Elijah killed Marcel because he was so dangerous and it was absolutely necessary. Now, Marcel can be pacified by simply throwing the Mikaelson women (Rebekah, Hope, Haley) at him. Why not get Vincent to ask him since he offered to help them? Last episode Marcel is incapacitated easily by some random witch. Should that even be possible with his superior speed and reflexes? The beast doesn't seem that beastly. It just makes last season's ending weird. Yet, Freya believes their only hope for survival is to kill Marcel. Unless, the point is Klaus saves Marcel at the last minute. Which would bring the story full circle. Otherwise, I wonder where the story is headed.
I love how everyone wants to hate Marcel but he isn't the bad guy sure he was hesitant to bring this terrible family back into New Orleans, but he want hope safe and alive. Now as for Freya her ass needs to die she is justifying her revenge plan on absolutely nothing. Marcel doesn't want to kill them he could but he could care less about them. I really don't want her to succeed I mean that Werewolf shouldn't help her on the account of her being kept captive by her.
Me too & I especially agree with everything you said about Freya & Marcel & it pisses me off how she wants to weaken & ultimately kill him FOR WHAT.... all because she considers him a threat because he's stronger than the Originals & could kill them if he chooses to do so. He could have easily killed them but he showed them mercy & simply exiled them from New Orleans but yet she feel the way she does, smfh. I kinda hate to say it but I hope she does not succeed in her plan against Marcel & I hope he rips her throat out. lol
Marcel did try to kill her and her brothers remember? She does not have any history will Marcel unlike the rest of the family. Even Hayley knew Marcel longer than she has. As far as she is concerned he is the biggest treat to her family safety and should be eliminated. When Marcel capture the compound, he had order kill on all the Mikealson safe for Rebecca, Hayley and Hope. Marcel would never harm a child especially his little 'sister', he loves Rebecca and Hayley was one of his 'children', the little werewolf princess that he saved from being killed. I think all the Mikealson save for Freya knew Marcel is who he is now because of them and it is largely their fault that Marcel acted against them. Elijah acknowledged it and blame himself for what happen. It's a terrible situation for all concern and no one is totally innocent nor totally guilty, which makes for good drama and why I LOVE The Originals!
If this is the last season of The Originals, Marcel should not continue being stronger than Klaus or Elijah in the coming episodes. His already becoming irrelevant, Sure he has helped the Mikelsons from tuff situations, but his character has played its part.

When and why did he fall in love with her? Does he really know Hayley as a person? There are receipts to prove that each and everyone of these answers will not be the one Haylijah Stans want, you know why? Because Elijah doesn't really love Hayley he only loves the fact that she was an incubator for Klaus redemption which he is so dead set on
As much as I like Hayley and Elijah individually, I don't really get their love story, either. Good news, however, that Phoebe has stated their relationship is put on the backburner for the majority of this season because Hayley is all about Hope.
I don't care or see a problem with Marcel losing his powers. He can enjoy it while he can, despite the fact that he actually had 5 years to enjoy that power, cause eventually he WILL lose that power and go back to being an ordinary vampire. And when that happens, a confrontation between Klaus and Freya will happen. For example, Freya wants to kill Marcel...Klaus won't kill him cause he still sees him as a son but he will get revenge on Marcel in his own way. But he won't kill him. So should Marcel die or live?

It kills me how people are trying to make Marcel the bad guy lol. He was the one who told Vincent to send the message to Haley. He helped those kids. but they excuse Freya after sending Davina back and down right torturing the wolf after she was asked by Elijah and Haley to stop. She doesn't care about anyone but what makes her happy. She should be the one to be worried.

They forced Marcel to become what he is by being arrogant obnoxious brutal tyrants, that always have to get their way. I love all the characters but let's be real, they deserve to feel the fear of knowing there is something stronger than them and capable of killing them anytime he wished. The creators and producers should keep Marcel in that sort of power because he's not corrupt like the originals. He cares for others in a way no of them ever have or will. I'm not including Hayley with the originals, she's like Marcel

If Elijah and Freya didn't do what they did, God knows what Lucien would have made of New Orleans, would he (Marcel) even be alive? It is hard to say but the decision was justified, very hard but justified (If some of y'all disagree i'd love to hear the alternative solution you have in mind for that situation). Marcel gotta direct his anger somewhere else. And it's not like I am sorry for what happened to Davina anyway, her immature selfish self annoyed the hell out of me from day 1. I understand Marcel's pain, I just don't understand the lengths to which he had brought the whole situation. Also nobody can pretend to protect Hope while trying to harm her family. But anyway, let's see where this season brings us.
Queen Mb. I totally agree. Lucien would not have been a threat to the original family if Davina never broke the sire line. If the sire line was never broken , then Lucien would not have went after Klaus and Freya would not have had to let Davina go so that she can save Klaus.
well he isn't trying to harm the mikaelsons anymore. Also davina was like his daughter so I can understand the lengths he went to in order to make the Mikaelsons pay. One last thing pretty much everyone on the originals are bad guys. with a few exceptions none of the main characters are good or innocents
I still don't get how Marcel bite can hurt Claus when it's only werewolf venom and he is a werewolf. I can understand him being strong. But why would a werewolf bite posion a werewolf
that doesn't make sense tho. I mean if a original is stabbed in the neck or arm with white oak they won't die. white oak only kills them when stabbed in the heart.
Marcel should remain the strongest of all the vampires.He is the only one who can keep a check on the miscreants created by shit people like Elijah, Freya and Kol. But I want him to consider Klaus as his father again as Klaus did always try to do right by him. Whatever happened to Davina was really sad but Klaus is not to be blamed for that as he was ready to risk his life but didn't want Davina to die. Whatever he was earlier he was, he isn't now. But Elijah deserves to be killed and so as Kol who is living a life gifted by someone else.
I do not understand. The idea of putting a child in a series of vampires. Until now we have to hope is half vampire, witch, human and werewolf and not forget that she is immortal. The question will be It will grow until it reaches an age like step in twilight film or they will make some other invension?
Hope is still a witch which makes her mortal. she is also an untriggered werewolf and has a vampire blood in her system. I don't think they will make her like Renesmee in Twilight
