kdoo That's just a rumour for now, there's been no official announcement and the only regular who's filmed a pilot is Daniel but it's not the first time he's worked on both TO and another show at the same time. There was also word going around about Joseph being on x-men but his reps shot that down, apparently he was just sitting in for another actor.

Why is everyone hating on Summers acting... she's pretty amazing for an 8 year and and I personally think she plays the part of a child who has been brought up in a supernatural family very well!

Elise Michelle It's not hating to have an opinion on an actor's skill. Children actors should be used to this, It's the nature of the business. She's an adorable kid but personally, she's not selling it for me. That's just my opinion but as viewers were all entitled to our opinions.

I can't believe everyone is saying Summer's acting is bad. Sure she makes Hope a bit creepy but it blends in with the show so well. Plus a 7 year old cannot have a well formed personality. So do not get your expectations all that high. Summer just does what feels natural for Hope and it is working quite well in my opinion.

I think Stranger Things ruined the world for child actors. Ever since that show, people have been very critical over child actors in TV shows. Honestly, as long as the writing is good, I don't mind a cringey kid actor. When I was their age, I definitely wasn't doing as well as they are in life, so I have no issues.

"Child actors", they're teens not children believe it or not. Their ages range from 13-15 even though they don't look it while Summer is 8.

Haha lol thanks u guys but seriously!! Her acting is horrible in this scene it's actually pretty funny and who else doesn't feel any chemistry between hope n klaus. Like the father/daughter bond. It's just awkward. Oh yeah and can't WAIT to see Davina.

Nathan J honestly me too. like I liked her in the first episode when she first meets klaus she doesn't go hug him right away instead she asks her mom if she could go play in the garden. because honestly that situation is uncomfortable for anyone. And her response to leave is so real. No child likes to be standing by a stranger for too long.
