When you say that if you were Klaus you'd be like "it's in the past", I think you forget the most important part: Klaus wasn't only running from his father but he was running from his ABUSER... Neither of them is a Saint but what Rebekah did was the worst thing that she could have done to Klaus.

Yeah he never tried to get her killed, he daggered her because of his own devious ways to protect her from herself, I don't say he was right though, but she actually tried to get him killed, it doesn't matter what her intentions were but she could for sure except that from their dad, that was his only goal and all because of love for the guy who chose Klaus over her multiple times.

You describing the moment of Marcel confessing to Elijah as a "little kid who got caught" is so spot on. Because, despite how powerful Marcel has become and everything he's accomplished, he'll always feel like a child with Elijah and Klaus. They raised him. You see him rebel against that all the time (even in the moment where he gets pissy about Elijah asking for a pen and paper) because he wants to break away from that and prove he's their equal.

The betrayal in Klaus’s eyes when Elijah drove that dagger in his heart 😩 I think Klaus’ anger stems from his paranoia. Again his worst fears were confirmed, and even worse, Rebekah chose to betray him by summoning the one person they all should have been united against. The man who abused him as a child and hunted them all for 900 years at that point. It was really fucked up that Rebekah did that when she and Marcel could’ve just chosen to run away together.

I hate to say this but to compare Rebecca‘s trauma from Klaus trying to protect her in his obviously messed up very messed up way he still was actively trying to protect her the whole time and he has been since he was a little kid and never once wanted to kill her until this moment yeah he locked her up and punished her a lot that was messed up But she actively brought back a person who she knows wants to kill him and has been hurting him since he was a baby and that he is terrified of and she knows what he has gone through and despite him being bruised and in pain he still decided to protect her feelings after being abused by his father he would go and protect Rebecca and comfort her because she didn’t like seeing him hurt and on top of all that Marcel is Klaus‘s son and he betrayed him after he took him in and raised him and still as you can tell actively loves him and find out she did that for Marcel and didn’t even consider doing a fraction of that for someone who’s been protecting her for her whole life for someone else she’s in love with and this is not the first time it’s just the first time he’s cared about the person that she betrayed him with. As someone who’s been through all the same things klaus has been through to constantly have that fear be validated over and over again by someone who you love eventually you reach A point where enough is enough i’m also not saying that Rebecca does not have trauma that’s not what I’m saying I’m just saying there’s a valid reason why he reacts the way he reacts

The way Rebekah killed Genevieve and Clara (Celeste) with the Spanish Flu was brutal. That would've been a slow and agonizing death, much worse than the visually graphic but instant deaths that the Originals normally dish out. It's made even worse by the fact that Genevieve just thought that she was helping a friend because she had no idea what Rebekah or Marcel were planning.

no matter what my heart aches when elijah daggered klaus in the last scean. That look of betrayal and abandonment on klaus face god!!! his pain isn't less every time he gets to witness how his family choose everyone else but him. here again, elijah chooses rebakkaah and rebekkah showing her love and loyalty towards marcel ..... its another level of hurt man!! All klaus needs are love, loyalty and care........his eyes crave so much for all of this but he never gets them!!!........god i feel so sad for him!!😭😭😭😭

Nothing justify Klaus daggering his siblings over and over again through the centuries, but same with Rebekah calling Mikael. Klaus intentions never were to kill Rebekah and she knew thats exactly what Mikael would do to Klaus. Personally I think (mostly cuz of history between Mikael and Klaus, which Rebekah knew) that she crossed the line with what she did. It's not only the fact that she wanted Klaus to die. She brought Mikael, their biggest enemy and Klaus abuser. I'm trying to understand both of them's point of view. I'm not angry at Rebekah, I get why she did it (and she def deserved to be happy then and now), but that still doesn't justify her in my eyes. I'm just sad bc both of them this episode. Klaus were seriously hurt by knowing the truth, bc while that might be one of his fears, he never really wanted to admit to himself that his siblings would want him dead. Klaus is paranoid and his ways of dealing with siblings are def messed, even tho sometimes he did it believing that it's for their best, it's still terrible. It's impossible to deny it. On the other hand Rebekah wanted his death, when Klaus always was too scared of loosing them and being alone (the irony is that he actually made himself alone with his methods). They both did a lot of terrible things and they were plotting against each other many times. Guess it's how Mikaelson family works. They are complicated as hell lol

The mini-arc on this few episodes about the whole situation with Rebekah and Marcel calling Mikael into the city is really interesting, among the best episodes of this show IMO... This situation as far as black & white as anything, there is a lot of blame, guilt and wrongdoings to go around between the characters... But hey, it's the Mikaelsons, nothing is ever simple LOL

@@lam12001 SPOIILEERS SPOILERRRSSS Yeah, we know that Klaus at this point is still in a place when he doesn't really see or acknowledge his bad actions and the consequences of those actions... But this arc went a long way in showing Klaus how bad his actions towards his siblings have been, like you said, by comparing him to how their father behaved was a hard hitting way yo put it. I think Klaus in the show suffered enough repercussions form his actions for him to eventually see how bad he has been towards his family; obvs it was never going to be enough in the span of the show to compensate like 1 to 1 for all the things he did to them, but to me at least it was enough for the fact that the family forgave him to be believable... I mostly criticize that type of attitude coming from some fans of the show, the attitude of the people who think that Klaus is above them and they should all do what Klaus says, take whatever behavior, good or bad, whatever punishment, called for or uncalled for, etc... They should just kneel at his feet because he is somehow superior and be glad about it... I see it not in the story but actually outside of it with some fans of Klaus who will defend him and side with him in every situation.

Thing is maybe people agree or not. Genevives only crime was falling for Rebekahs bullshit. As for klaus “it’s all in the past I survived it’s all good”mentality. Klaus nearly died. He thought the nearest thing he’d ever get to a son died. A home he built for his family destroyed I’d be the same as klaus if it was the closest person or 1 of them was responsible

Rebekah just wanted to live her life not being controlled by her brother (wether it was him being a protective brother or not). Rebekah said that she did it so Klaus would be distracted. She knew that her brother would be able to get by Mikeal like he has done before in the past time and time again but the whole idea of it is really messed up considering Klaus and Mikeal's past. It's kinda like when Stefan did that one thing in TVD to get Klaus's hybrids away but Rebekah can't say she did it when her humanity was off like Stefan had his off.

I've never smelled rotting bodies in the cemeteries, but there's a reason they don't bury the bodies underground. New Orleans is below sea level and floods often with their tropical storms. It may help to seal the smell in considering they brick/seal that thing up good.

I get Klaus being mad at Rebekah. I mean, she saw it as her only way out, but Mikael was horrible and I mean absolutely HORRIBLE to Klaus. He abused him and called worthless his entire life. He never knew the concept of a father, which is why Klaus is afraid of being a father. And Rebekah bringing Mikael to their home, his own sister… it was the ultimate betrayal

I can obviously understand Klaus’ anger after learning what Rebekah did but also I don’t blame Rebekah and I think she’s just as justified as Klaus feels. As much as Mikael abused Klaus, Klaus just re-directed that abuse to his siblings and Rebekah nearly the most out of this sick twistedness that she was Klaus’ favorite. I love their relationship honestly and how many layers there are to it but it is messyyyyy. Rebekah truly felt there was no way out and you know ultimately that decision had to be so hard for her because he is her brother but he had abused her, her whole life as well and she saw no escape.

Of course everybody would've rather elijah save hayley cause that child was everybody's only hope at peace at that point, everybody was prepared to die for that, but elijah's choice to save hayley definitely came more from his feelings for her and less from the need to save the child. It's true that he knew klaus and rebekah wouldn't possibly die.

Justice for plaid shirts from the previous episodes. I basically wanted to say that I think that werewolves use the plaid shirts because they are easily disposable and maintained, in case of transformations and dirt, whereas with vampires they don't have such problems so they can be in suits. :) Lmao the whole Rebekahhhhhh scene was like watching a spoiled toddler not get their lollipop. Which is essentally how Klaus acts most of the time.

Why did you hate Tyler? From his past actions with Vicky. Two characters most people did not like. In your own words you threw away the present for the past. If someone abuses you physically and you escape. Then your own sibling gives the abuser your location.... I am making to much sense never mind... The character Klaus is not female, You only care about right and wrong if it is a female.
