That scene in peace with Josh and Aiden reuniting is the only thing that makes Josh's death in any way acceptable to me. Beautiful scene and just incredibly wholesome (in it's circumstances). Love that you chose them for your thumbnail 😁

curiosity: josh would die in the first season, however, the producers liked the character so much that they asked the writers to extend their participation, it is in this episode that we realized that despite not being such a recurring character, josh is loved, and for the first time we see such peace in the originals, josh's peace is beside aiden

Josh is absolutely under appreciated. He’s rarely on screen, but when he is… oh boy, does he make an impact. So great to see him reunited with Aidan, but he deserved so much better than that kind of reunion.

When I tell you I was crying and almost passing out from the scene when Josh returns to Aiden I MEAN IT It was so unexpected and I didn’t know I cared about him that much until this episode- not to mention the song just adds to the pain😭

In order to break the curse, you have to take a HUMAN life. Vampires don’t count since they’re technically already dead. So killing that old man triggered her curse

Finally up to date again. Josh dying gets me everytime, still mad about it, his goodbye to Marcel is so sweet, the kiss on the cheek is a beautiful detail. Love that he finds peace with Aiden. Hope going all scorched earth is perfection, we love to see it. Also a perfect way to have her accidentally trigger her curse. All the scenes with Ivy and Vincent are really moving. They really do a beautiful job with character deaths in this show.

I really loved Josh. He was so wholesome and didn't deserve to die. Also side note, Teen Wolf doesn't follow the bury your gays trope if that helps with decision making.

Love this episode! Josh’s death was so sad, and kind of unnecessary tbh. I loved his and Marcel’s relationship. I’m glad we got to see him reunite with Aiden in the afterlife though. Hope releasing the Hollow’s power on all those people, and Vincent and all the witches destroying the ancestral well were such badass scenes. Her triggering the werewolf curse was shocking as well.

I feel so sad for Vincent! The man is as unlucky with love as Alaric. Hope being angry and Klaus helping her was for sure my favourite part of this episode! I love seeing Klaus be a dad and a badass! I don't get why they had to kill Josh!? What was the point? Was is just so he(and we) could see Aiden again?? Why not bring him back or give Josh something else? Like that was so ridiculous! Just as pointless as killing Hayley! The Marcel problem is the same problem we have with the originals! They are supposed to be the strongest but somehow people can still try and beat them. No one should be able to even try! Marcel should be THE strongest vampire and yet he is not. So the only upgrade he got was the teeth with super venom and being unkillable.

Incredibly morbid comment... But I wish they would have had at least try to see with one of their supposedly immortal beings how far the damage could go and they wouldn't die... I don't mean torture, but like having their heart ripped out or losing their head... Would that actually kill them or it would grow back since supposedly very few things can kill them

They did Josh's character so dirty this entire series. They made so weak and gave him nothing. I'm just glad he got his happy ending... well it would have been better if they were both alive but I'll take what I can get.

We've known Josh for so long that I think we forget that he's actually so young for a vampire. It's a miracle that he made it this far, a true survivor, and that's why it feels like such a robbery that he dies in the last little bit. I do love that he gets to have his peace with Aiden because he really does deserve it.

I love the originals with all my heart but the vampire nazi storyline was just not it…after all the amazing writing in earlier seasons it just felt lacklustre 😞 and Josh’s death? To me that served no purpose. If he’d had a bigger role in the season it might have had a more meaningful impact but it just felt like a death for the sake of a death

The reason u didn’t get another Josh and Davina scene is cuz she’s a garbage friend/person instead spending time with Cami on her dying day she tried to kill Lucien and she was with Kol the dude who lied to her for weeks about being sent back to murder her. Josh and cami deserved better friends and luckily they had better I mean a lot better friends the the selfish one

It’s poetic Justice that Marcel is the one who killed Josh in the end he wanted to be all powerful but couldn’t see his venom can be used a against him. Also I love the fact the Greta brought her nazi ways to New Orleans cuz she and the great Marcel have a lot in common that’s vampires being superior to everybody especially werewolves. This is why Klaus is the better person Klaus is a freedom fighter.

One thing I hated about this show, (well the supernatural way of thinking on this show anyway) is that who cares who gets hurt everyone is collateral damage and need to suffer as long as Me and mine don’t. We go along with it because “ohhhh Klaus!!! Ohhh Damon 😍😍 so badass!!” Right? But their way of thinking in reality is not good at all, that’s why I don’t get mad when they get put in their place by the innocent people (Vincent, Matt, etc) who represents who they trample all over. That man didn’t have to die I was so pissed for Vincent when Elijah had the nerve to tell Him to fix something that dummy Hope get her own self in!!! SMH 🤦🏽‍♀️
