This finale really cut deep.. When I tell you I could not sleep that night because all I could think about was “It’s been a glorious ride Niklaus” - saddest line in TVDU among “Hello, brother”..

For me this was sadder then the tvd finale. The goodbyes. Seeing Klaus's redemption arch. Hayley appearing. It was beautiful

You just KNOW when Elijah said "it's been a glorious ride, Niklaus. And my greatest honour", it was really Gillies speaking to JoMo.... because it has truly been a glorious ride watching those two together ❤ #alwaysandforever

Originals was one of the best series I have watched. The way Klaus changes for his daughter and is willing to give up everything for her just melts our heart . Every single one of us were in tears at the end of the show :)

klaus was really serious when he told camille "i will carry you with me" 😭

one of the lines i love the most in this episode is Klaus saying that Hope helped him feel unconditional love. which is exactly what Elijah says Klaus can have with baby Hope in the very first episode. 💛

I’m still not over that Klaus just didn’t let Elijah take the curse & die 😩 Hope neeeded at least one parent & we should’ve got our regular 22 episodes to really flesh this out!! Years later & I still cry when Klaus says to Elijah, “I don’t deserve the love you’ve given me brother but I am so grateful” 🥺😢😭😭😭

Thinking back to the first episode we saw those characters in, and the last, the change is amazing. This episode makes me cry. Elijah and Klaus dying together was perfect. It had to happen together. Klaus was redeemed and that's all Elijah wanted. His life goal was done. Klaus was happy with his choice, his daughter is safe, she was his world and if she's okay, then he's happy

I remember before you watch the show, you watched the video "Klaus Mikaelson: The Great Evil" on RU-vid and you were emotional without knowing the caracters. Good luck to dont cry if you watch it again in the futur ;)

In a convention Daniel gillies and Joseph Morgan were asked the question ‘do you agree with how it ended and what would you have done differently?’ Or some form of that question. And joesph went on this lovely answer about how it suited with klaus redemption and then Daniel just said ‘I had no f*cking reason to die none whatsoever to die, dummest f*cking death of all time’ 😂 Most of the funny moments with the cast was during conventions and this was definitely one of them I’ll try and find a short compilation of convention moments which will be short enough for you to react too 😊

This was a truly honest and emotional ending to the show. The show has been about Elijah and Klaus together and both choosing to die together was the perfect way for them to go. Not from some enemy, but through their love and respect for each other. For over 1,000 years these brothers faced life together, now Elijah and Klaus will face the next life together.

Such a ride it has been. RIP Elijah and Niklaus Mikaelson. I tell you, Klaus has had one of the best redemption arcs I have ever seen, across two shows. A glorious ride indeed.

Anyways since this episode was so sad I’ll choose to focus on the happier moments: -Kol letting go of his anger and choosing to be with his family, Klaus, before he dies -Vincent Freya and Keelin getting their joint happily ever after -Marcel and Rebekah finally being happy together -Rebekah finally getting the chance to become human again (side note m: wonder what happens to her sire line after she’s cured) -Marcel promising to never abandon Hope

Ladies and gentlemen this is the moment we’ve been waiting for

I wish Davina could've been there too, Vincent should definitely take over the church after all these sermons he's been giving out and this ending is definitely better than the TVD one

TVD and Originals Finales are 2 things that are guaranteed to make me cry every single time I watch them. And I’m 36 year old man.

I really wish we could have done more episodes the last two seasons, maybe even had more but from a business perspective I understand why the CW limited us so much & I'm grateful they let us continue at all and I happy you enjoyed the show! If you noticed any different "vibes" this season its because we had a TVD showrunner, instead of the one we had season 1-4 and they tried making the lighting, sound design, music choices, writing, more comparable to TVD (more plotholes & ex machina haha) if that helps explain things. I understand it can be jarring to fans who didn't just tune into season 5 for TVD cameos but who watched the whole show through, so apologies! Change in managment this late into anything is bound to upset someone. Thank you a lot for reacting & potentially bringing new viewers to the show. I'm currently working for paramount+ now but this specific show has a very very special place in my heart, there was so much personality behind that camera. When you spend every single day with someone months on end for many years you grow a deep bond, which is something people don't understand about tv shows which makes it different than movies. We all cried for real saying goodbye to each other knowing we'd never all be under the same roof again, if its sad for the fans its even more sad for cast and crew. Always, and forever

The amount of full circle moments/lines in this episode with the start of the show is just beautiful. I really loved that they focused so much on the goodbye and the last time being together as a family like this.

Who noticed that when they had the wish burning ceremony Elijah put his in his pocket, already knowing he was planning to die with Klaus and the oak. So it would essentially be burned in that moment. 😭😭

I believe you didn’t had any idea when you started watching Tvdu how beautiful these stories are of every characters…. At the bonfire, Elijah says the same lines that you hear him say when the show first begins. And I think that its a very beautiful full-circle moment.

The entire last 2 episodes was basically a set up to legacies... you think you saw a ton of cameos for older characters from tvd and the originals but you ain't seen nothing like it is with legacies. Every thing in legacies is a cameo for tvd and originals... I mean come onnnnnn!

Aaah, I wish that you'd watch Legacies now... It's a really good show! Sure, it has its own identity but it's still the same universe. It's always in Mystic Falls and in Stefan and Damon's mansion. Alaric and Dorian are always there. Matt has a few cameos in the first season and Jeremy too. In S3 you have a lot of mentions of Elena and Damon for a reason that I won't say. We see a lot Mystic Falls High too. And Landon that you discovered in 5x12 is a BIG part of the show and I know that you'd love the bond that he has with his foster brother. Even if you won't watch it now, I hope that you will later 😊😊

Neither Klaus nor Elijah got their happily ever after, that's why there was no dance, that's why Cami had to go the way she did. It's frustrating, but their fate...

This finale was super sad and emotional and tbh I can't believe you already finished both tvd and to it was nice having those two still alive💔 And onto a more refreshing note I think that now that you finished those two you should watch Legacies,it's basically a show about Hope and the kids in the Salvatore school including Lizzie and Josie,Alaric's and Caroline's daughters,and Alaric is also there so I think you'll like it😁 Ngl the first season is kinda boring tho but season two is better and season three is very good,season four just came out but for now it's very good,and you can finally see Hope's inner Klaus coming out🥰 Idk about everyone else but I like her inner devil😈

If Elijah was going to kill himself anyway he could’ve just took the power so that Hope could’ve had a father… instead they both die because you know that seems fair… then on top of that the producers screw us out of our dance with Hayley. The final episode was my least favorite episode of the whole series. Was it sad? Clearly. That’s beside the point.
