The picture story is telling the story of a little girl who meet a demon, those beads are actually the medallions, but then she was accused of being a witch so the town went after her. This all happened in this town. Then I think she took the children with her and put their souls into the dolls.

The reason why Issac and Molly are missing is because there toys. Bo and Stripes killed Issac and Molly, after that Issac and Molly became their toys. Mr. Hopp is trying to kill Esther because he wants her soul. It’s a bit like a fnaf scenario and Dee is the purple guy

I’ve noticed that when your in the cellar, mr stripes and ms bo hold Isaac and molly as if they are the “toys”

Let’s just admire him for finding a medallion on his first playthrough. (And being good at the minigame)

So I think I have the story figured out. So Esther got mr hoops who was possessed by the demon, when she didn't agree to play with them her memorys got erased, this is why she gave Mr hopps to ruby her grand child, Mr hopes the tormented Ruby but Ruby then killed Mr hopes that's why she didn't have her memorys erased because unlike esthere she was successful in getting rid of the demon. Mr hoppsalso killed all the other people besides Ruby and Esther's because they weren't like the wich meanwhile Esther's and Ruby were like her, perhaps a decendent of the wich and so the demon wanted to torment them due to the resemblance

I really can't wait to hear the story of this game it's chock-full of Secrets and multiple endings of the story should be quite deep and interesting

I have a theory. Esther as an old women was about to die and then she start to remember Dee and Mr. Hopp or maybe died because she remember now and they want her so she decides to offers Ruby instead so she can rest en peace. After a happy life a death with Mr. Hopp doesn't sound nice

So basically, the picture telling story tells the story about a little girl who lived with her mother in the town of Blacklands back in the 80's. One night, she suddenly wandered off into the dark forest & encountered 'The Entity'. A powerful deity that rules over the 'Underworld'. The Entity gave her a beaded necklace, which the beads were actually the medallions we collect in the game. She decided to wear it & was told never, ever take it off. On any circumstances. After she got home, her mother scolded her for arriving home late. This angered her, to the point where she actually killed her using some mysterious dark power. I think it was from the necklace 'The Entity' gave her back in the dark forest. *'She deserved it'* The girl mentioned in dark black writing on the wall. A villager in town witnessed the girl's horrific crime, and was accused of being a witch. And was sent to be burnt alive in front of the whole town. While she was being burnt alive, she thought to herself: *'It hurts...'* After which, her ashes were suddenly fused with the mysterious dark magic from the necklace 'The Entity' gave her back when she was alive. The ashes & dark magic were suddenly fused into 3 bodies of dead children who died back then. And soon after...3 dolls were created. *'I took them all'* she said to herself. And on that very day: Mrs. Bo, Mr. Stripes, and Mr. Hopps were then born. And then, the little girl was reincarnated as a new child with a new name...Dee. The new girl who just came to the Manor a few days ago. The child who asked Esther to help rid of the evil within the halls of the manor. Only to turn against her for 'The Entity' to have a chance to capture Esther & drag her down into the 'UnderWorld'. Along with the Matrons, the orphans, & her friends who he'd already captured with a little help from it's 'friends'. I think what the note means by "Three must have somebody to play it": It means it needs 3 victims to fall into curiousity in order for everything to be set up. Since Esther, Molly, & Isaac have Mr. Hopp, Mrs. Bo, & Mr. Stripes... They must be the 3 victims the 'Entity' needed in order for everything to fall into place. And Esther seems to have something special that Dee/The 'Entity' wants from her. But we don't really know what that is exactly.

actually the 6 medallions have 6 minigames you need to complete and when you get them and go to the 8th chapter when Esther says 'I don't know what's real and what isn't anymore' the 6 medallions have the ability to make the floor crumble and unlock a secret chapter called 'Underworld'

Fun fact: when Dee said you are just like me you can gain a skin that looks like Esther is corrupted from the entity in the extras menu😊

There is 2 more secret endings one you need to be in chapter whispers and go to the door with the chair then you will get outside jump on top of the wall The second you need to be in chapter cellar get the crowbar then there is a crack wall hit it with it and you will get an ending its a refrains of a cartoon you will see There is a detail when mr hopps Roams the halls his ears go down there is an animation when they see you when they are roaming the hall and the mr stripes jump scare you still did not see that thats all of the stuff i know in this game 😊😊 I edit the whispers because it did not make sense i little

I know someone has already said this but this is the story of the pictures. A young girl found a demon in a forest. The demon gave her a necklace with the 6 medallions and she took it home, and killed others or at least tortured them. The towns people accused her of being a witch and tied her up onto the stake. They burned her, but when she died, I believe she transferred some of her soul into the dolls. And now we have the story we have today.
