@@jonathonwerth7850 I served in Iraq. I too have a Purple Heart. I’ve been in fire fights, and I can honestly say the fire fights I was in were child’s play compared to the 13+ hours of intense fire. I’ve been in fire fights and I too can only imagine.
Nepal army faced similar situation with less resources. Nepal army with 70 combat army and 150 engineers fought with around 5000 rebels army fought 12 hours before getting outrun by the rebels. The amazing similarities is that site of the barrack , re enforcement of air and the local situation. Salute to armymen

I will always believe our service men and women faught for the mission, whatever that may have been. So no I do not agree it was in vain nor for nothing. They were all there to save the rest of their brothers and continue with the mission. Yes hindsight is 20/20 but it was FOR SURE not for nothing! God bless these soldiers and their families, for their heroism and BRAVERY! USA 🇺🇸 will always be grateful for each one of the GI’s we lost that fateful day. ❤Amen and god bless America!
I’m a civilian, but I’m wondering why someone made the decision to put an outpost in a valley, I hope 🤞 they weren’t put there to flush or access enemy the strength in the area.
@@Upuauta Actually, it's in a great spot when looking at a flat map. The dummies who picked it, didn't understand topography or terrain features apparently. Non combat idiots in the rear with the gear.
The fact that the wealthiest country on earth sends its children to do battle without adequate tools, resupply, or reinforcement is criminal negligence at best. There is no reason for us to lose a single battle, let alone any war. Any intelligence officer with the resources that we have, USNA, USMA, THE CITADEL, ALL OUR SERVICE INTELLIGENCE AGENCIES, USNRO, and NSA, should resign immediately if they can't get off their ass and put in 110% for our guys in country. Either that or tell their supervisor that our projected collateral damage is unacceptable.
