My mum was so confused when I said I loved this show because it's "disturbing" and "what the hell up with that detention pit" but now she watches it with me
I'd love to watch it with my parents, but there's a LOT in the way. 1st they dont speak English 2nd toh isnt being translated to russian because at first russia is homophobic and then because guess why 3rd we no longer even live together, more like 6k kilometers qway from each other 4th first few episodes might bore them because of "Disney syndrome" as i call it. Yk, the episodes that are basically dame in every show, like bodyswap. 5th... idk, wanted 5 points.
@@lokomotion726 if we want to be logical (which doesn't make sense here) even when baking, the outer part suffers the heat first, the same is true for corrosion, even in the cold outside, your skin starts to die first, why would it be any different with turning to stone
@@analternatemultiverse2063 It's made for older kids. Seriously, that is who it's targeted to. It's like an adult comedy show: you got the kid-friendly parts, then you got the not-so-kid-friendly parts.
Imagine this: Your a 8 y/o kid finally convincing your parents/guardian to let you watch on Disney XD then hollow mind or Hooty without his skin was the first thing you saw and got traumatized
It's the exact feeling of when someone mildly inconveniences you and then you decide to be petty as s**t and mildly inconvenience them for the next several hours as payback.
the Collector really does embody the nature of the show. At first glance, it does look like a kid's show, but as soon as you actually watch it, it's kinda terrifying
@@KageGinga This show WAS dark especially in the later seasons, also yeah, ig it’s also due to the fact creepy stuff is more common nowadays, but I ain’t hating on this show, and if you aren’t bothered by ANY of the episodes at least a bit I don’t get you dude, I really don’t XD
@@Free_Candy_Van I don't get the person you were talking to either. I don't get freaked out a lot, heck, I watched Amanda The Adventurer clips before going to bed last night and I slept fine. But the one part in Hollow Mind where all of the people collapsed due to the sigils just creeped me out.
Disney has a shockingly long track record of adding really not good for kids stuff into kids shows. Just look at the amount of crazy shit that went on in Star Wars rebels and Star Wars the clone wars
So Disney's not mad about how there's traumatizing things and I owl House but they get mad over two girls kissing are they blind did I see the amount of trauma and Gore and I owl House
Nah man, I made my little siblings watch it and they turned out fine! I don't even know why my sjster said she was afraid she was gonna have nightmares with Belos monstrous form, he's such a cutie!(they did love the show btw, so much they watched it for the second time now when I was rewatching it with ny mother lol)
It definitely is a kids show. Not a bad thing, but its important for children's media to include dark themes as it can help them understand and come to grips with real life tragedy and hardship in a more fun and approachable way. Things like fear, death, discomfort are all inevitabilities when it comes to being a human. People gotta stop thinking that there's no difference between baby media and children's media. A little dark humor never hurt anyone.
The target for this show are kids and teens, but that doesnt mean you can't watched it. I'm an adult and I'm enjoing watching it, knowing that this is a kid's show
I have cousins that are 7 and 9 and i sent this to their older sister, whos not much younger than me, to show them actual proof as to why this is not appropriate for 3rd 1st graders and a 4 year old
This doesn't really have anything to do with the video but I feel like Dana and Disney are the definitions of,"What are you gonna do? Stab me?" As they just go back and forth metaphorically stabbing each other
you know, i just visited their disney now page (surprised that it even works in russia), so uh yea, i see the news, shows, etc., and i was like, bro, they cancel toh, but keep doing these, uhh, can i even call them shows?
This is a cool show :) Im not pro to this "new age chaos" productions,tv shows "for kids" with such dark scenes and also the "new normality ships between characters" that can change the mindset of young audience, seting all this to be "normal" also in real life :) It was rated to 7 yo + but they set this number randomly to look "fair" and have bigger wiews :) But this not matter because parents let kids watch all they want on internet, wanting to be "the best parent for the kid/freedom and self-choice with no rules...stuffs like that" :) Yes,im "old mentality" and have a different wiew about the real normality and in what "evolution and progress" in the years that will come us as humanity we go to...slowly and step by step.... But talking strict about the show and not generality...i love it :) Im 26 yo and i love it :) Was intresting and cool :) P.S : Ignore this comment if you want to contradict me or say bad words :) Each person with his/her opinion about life, reality etc :) Have a nice day all :) Peace :)
WHy the air quotes? Yes, these scenes are ok for kids, compare it to a show actually made for adults sometime. Dark or emotional moments dont make a series suddenly not be a kids show
While I think this is a good show, it definitely shouldn’t be marketed to kids. Disney content is marketed more towards appeasing adults than entertaining kids
Keep crying. It's still a kids' show whether you wanna admit it or not. Just admit that your favorite show is made for kids, it's not anything to be embarrassed over. It's literally rated TV-Y7 for a reason. Cope.
