other classics include "Please don't close the door at knight", "why don't we urinate, in the road", and the new single "Ain't no door gate high enough"
Agreed. Dog has more soul, passion, and love than some human beings walking among us. I can see why some pets get better treatment than humans sometimes.
Sometimes talent is born out of pure frustration. The seemingly random notes and lack of rhythm really bring out the dog's passionate calls for his owner. There's a tale in there, but I could only dream to understand the beauty of this song.
He could still be alive for all we know! Let’s be hopeful! He could have been one or two years old here…. And now he’s an old man, still playing piano and howling up a storm!
@@3112isabel He looks like a maltese but on the bigger side for one, think 15-20 years is possible. If he was only 1 or 2 here then he would have just become a senior. Hope he's still rocking, sounds like one of my dogs which is a maltese!
The way he presses the keys, the head tilting backwards to reach the high notes, the sadness. That bark of pain at the end. Indeed, such a phenomenal performace!
The abstract polyphonic accompaniment on the piano, along with the hauntingly poignant melody line demonstrates the classic roots of the composer/performer. Well done, sir!
I honestly don't think they did, this dog's name was Jeff and he belonged to my childhood piano teacher lmao. They heard kids being louder than this all the time and the video was likely just stolen from their facebook page around nine or ten years ago
I think the best part is actually the end where the dog cathartically stares into the distance, thinking about the raw, unfiltered poetry it just unleashed into the world
The pauses, the high notes, the emotions, the vibrato, the tears…. Everything about this was a masterpiece. He’s not singing just cause, he’s singing because he has a story to tell… this was breathtaking.
“I am alone. My master has abandoned me. They shall never return. The world must know my pain. I must sing” - The dog, 5 minutes after the owners leave.
>.0005s after you step outside “I’ve been on my own for an eternity.” >10s later you come back in to grab your phone “WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?! It’s been years!”
Bravo! My dogs stopped everything to listen and at the end, they all started barking their happiness and wagging their tails! So, Bravo! I clap my hands with them! It was an excellent production!
@@itskittyme what? You couldn't see the crowd and hear the clapping? How exactly did you know that the dog doesn't comprehend what clapping is? Must be able to read dog minds. Thank you for being so concerned.🤣
all of us are from completely different sides of youtube and yet the algorithm blesses us with unity in this ensemble of wonders, truly we must appreciate the moment as this dog plays his heart out for us
Obviously. You are, most likely, a common, mediocre player (no offense). This dog has been training and playing for years, and has a better understanding in this camp. He is truly an exquisite master of the great arts of the piano.
@@KobeAndersonCactus Pretty sure she means for the owners. It’s a pretty different experience to watch someone else’s dogs do crazy things like this over the internet after all
Most chords he plays are in the minor key, denoting sadness and loss. And that little pause before he gets off the chair. That applause pause. What a good doggo.
He was a concert pianist before this. He believes turning him into a dog and then giving him a owner with a piano to remind him of the passion he will never fully enjoy again is a cruel punishment indeed.
What kills me is at the end where he just pauses for a few seconds to let the song breathe. Like he put everything he had into that performance. So cute.
Before watching, I thought the dog would just randomly banging the piano and bark. But he truly play and sing. Very emotional and heartbreaking. I can feel the pain. Even his body language look emotional. More than amazed, im scared. That might be a previous human pianist that has subconsciously kept his memories. I believe in reincarnation so I truly think so.
I feel the agonising pain and the loneliness of the composer through out this piece and the silence at the end gives you a chill right down your soul. Does this piece represent the last moments of a tortured being up to its dramatic ending? Truly a masterpiece 👏👏👏
The pause before the artist gets off stage is crucial in establishing a feeling of completion and emotional emptiness after a magnificent and mesmerising performance
OMG, freakin hysterical. The neighbors complained, what they didn't like his music or something? Cheese everybody's a critic, but he has every right to play his piano during the day for God's sakes what else does he got to do.
Well it would depend on what time it was. Can't imagine waking up in the middle of the night to this and not really knowing what is going on. You might think someone was trying to kill someone or something hahaha.
He was lonely and wrote a love song for his owner, explaining that her brb, fifteen minute errand run was a whole year in dog years & he could hardly wait to see her again 👏 well done, pup!
@@greyko7473 what kind of "smart"? I dont know the details of the tests on pigs. Do you? I just know that there are many types of intelligence, including musical intelligence
How sweet and sad at the same time. The dog has great personality. He probably sees his owner play and sing at a time. But he's too much time on his own and is bored.Sweet little thing.
@@julietcunningham852 I use to tell my daughter that if she can't sing as well as the rest of the choir then she should make sure that she was singing much louder
That pause at the end where he looks down and reflects upon the grief he feels because the one he loved has moved on. Hope your human comes back, little dog.
@@dmitriykinzhebulatov Why is the light on? Why does the dog pause several times and then continue as if having gotten a cue to do so? Why does it look in the direction of the camera every time it pauses rather than the other side? Why the perfect "stage right" entrance compared to the exit? Come on, we can love this video without buying into obvious nonsense. We can even believe that this is something that started with the dog interacting with the piano, but what we see in the video is the result of the owners encouraging and training it further. It's still a hilarious video and I love it. But again, come on.
What are you talking about cats and dogs do things that baffle the imagination. Hell my dog drives my car when I am sleep at night. My cat goes online and has her own facebook account.😆
wait...probably they watched the Muppets Show in this family...when this dog saw Rowlf playing one of his "dog-jazz" tunes, oh boy, he must have fallen for it
@@johnr797 Have you ever heard of auto-correct going wrong? BTW, you didn't even notice where I used a comma that should have been "and". Oh, and your "youve".
Agreed. Sadly, less sophisticated ears will complain about the dissonance. It's sad to see the way music panders to the lowest common denominator, and kudos to this true artist for staying faithful to the craft.
The ending is soo sad. How he pensively stares down at nothing...lost in thought. Something there yet its not. Atoning his loneliness as dusk approaches. Cold and ashamed Standing there nakedly...One tear cascades down his cheek as the moon ascends into the heavens. Silvery and full...the light banishes the darkness to which it came. I felt unwavering despair. 😭Somebody get him a fruit basket this instant!!!
The dog’s not mashing the keys and howling; it’s playing challengingly complicated avant-garde chord progressions with varying time signatures while singing off key to push the boundaries of what music can be. Genius!
Lol this made me realize that every time a dogs owner leaves the house, that dog has no idea whether they’ll see their owner again. This dog is in an emotional hell. Poor doggies.
Sounds like “The why did you leave me home alone blues! Bless his little cotton socks he has a fine voice and his piano playing is pretty dam good. 😊🌸🌹🌺❤️
