I believe that Jordan Peterson has become one of the greatest thinkers of our time. Uncompromising in his own self analysis in pursuit of basic human truths that are applicable to all.

I don’t agree with everything Peterson says. But no one should. I watch him because the way he speaks is like he is constantly thinking out loud and trying to organize his thoughts to speech in a careful manner. Like a direct path to his thoughts. There is a deep honesty in the way the man speaks that I think isn’t very common anymore. It’s the reason I think a lot of people are drawn to him and why he seems to do so well in debate. There isn’t anything hidden behind what he says, no sugar coated ulterior motives ever so present in discussion these days.

"You cannot manifest who you are, without the thruth" - just flies out of his mouth like it was nothing. And in reality, it's a great quote.

You can tell Jordan speaks not only from his knowledge or intellect but from his heart and does so with passion.

I love how he's not just regurgitating facts and things other people have learned,. he is exploring and thinking through the his ideas on stage in real time.. so his ideas are in a state of constant flux as he speaks and tries to further his hypothesis it is incredible to watch

one minute you're reading a joke question, the next you are imagining yourself a Nazi guard in Auschwitz. I'm not the smartest person I'm not dumb but I didn't go to college I'm a construction worker. but the way he explains things it's easy to follow I can float on the surface and I understand the greater context of what he's talking about,. he makes it easy but I would imagine there's deeper and deeper layers that I'm not even seeing yet and it makes me want to learn "stuff" so I can dig deeper into his ideas. if you ever get lost in what he saying watch his hands it helps

Jordan Petersen calms down alot of the stresses that build up in my head. Not specifically for his views, but because it's immensely reassuring to hear his skilled measured and logical discussions (slash arguments). These days when people have had their lives destroyed (unfairly) on media, and all the bullshit that we all KNOW is bullshit, but it's all tied up in a tornado of opinions and dialogue, it scares and frustrates me sometimes. And JP comes in and CRUSHES it, and I can relax more cos I know that not everyone at the wheel is drunk.

Jordan Peterson is a great man. I wish he was my father figure growing up. I never knew I could truly fall in love with someone's mind, much less that of someone I've never met.

Jordan Peterson has an amazing way of reaching your very core with his words. The truth sounds so beautiful, and it is, but it can and will rewire who you have been, if you let it sink in. Truth; so beautiful...so terribly beautiful.

Of the many JP videos I have watched so far, this is definitely one of my favorite. He talks here about burning parts of yourself that are dead as a vital step in the transformation process to become who you could be. I am right now in that process and it amazes how right he actually is about what he is saying. Being well articulated in your speech is one thing, but to be accurate in the smallest details is insane. I am blown away. Indeed I am finding out how much I actually LIE, about the painful process of letting those parts of yourself go that are not worthy, especially if it's almost your entire being that is pathological. I can very much relate to Dr Peterson. I am 27 and I have almost the same problems as he had when he was my age, like the lies for the sake of winning the argument. I have been trying to get my act together for the last 18 months or so now. It's been only one month however since I am doing it consciously. I have listened to my conscience, observed my thoughts and behaviors and identified all what needs to burn off through writing it all down. It's a LOT. And a LOT of work. And painful too. I realized I have been living a pathological life all this time. Tomorrow is the start of the second month of my transformation (18 April - 17 May). Wish me luck while in a few hours I descend into the underworld to confront the dragons. After observing and watching, it's now time to slay. ;)

Hey Jordan, I'm also an Albertan, and have followed your videos for quite awhile. I do so appreciate your years of extensive study and research into the most complex subject there is- human beings. I pretty well consider you my Svengali, though I'm 64 and long in the tooth, i find it soul refreshing to listen to your lectures and thoughts. Keep up this GREAT work of your's please...It is such an inspiration for me- and I'm sure many others as well.

I love listening to Jordan Peterson because he tells you things that you already know but he articulates it in such a way that he make it profound. I hear the 'voices' all the time. I know that there is the argumentative 'voice' which I came to understand, wants to make me unhappy and destroy me and there is the quiet, one word (usually), 'voice' which wants to protect me and keep me happy. I don't always listen to the quiet voice but the consequences are, without exception, always bad. I'm still learning and growing and alive. Without the full truth no problem can be completely solved. I had decided to not try to have a son because the way the left treats young men. Mr. Peterson has made me realize that I am doing the world a disservice by not putting and amazing young man into this world. I have 2 daughters and they are beyond incredible human beings. I was worried that putting a boy into this world would be setting him up to fail just based on his mere existence I now see that I was wrong. I used to fear having a son because of the left now I want to bless this world in spite of the left. I will not apologize for giving this world a strong proud compassionate caring kind masculine man.

I am honest to my own detriment..You're right that people will let you know their own character when they show, outwardly, just how much truth they can really cope with. What I've learned is that IF an individual does not begin with a truth then what ever they build upon it will forever be lies. It's an unfortunate fact but there it is. If a person is made of more sturdy stuff then what they will do is work backwards to a truth but will realize very quickly they must change whatever they have built up in themselves on that first falsehood.

Btw, for anyone wondering the meaning, it means: “relating to or derived by reasoning from self-evident propositions”. I think a good synonym in English could be: “to assume” (without empirical evidences).

Peterson is so incredible in his way of thinking. I’m so glad he lived in a period where we can watch his internal struggle as he searches for the truth. He is honest and doesn’t claim that he is right, admits when he is wrong, but is constantly searching for the truth. Love it.

This has got to be one of the most important messages I’ve seen in relation to the times we’re living in. Thank you Dr. Peterson for reminding us of what is important in the midst of chaos and confusion.

My old school motto was"Be True "and have tried to live that for 60 years. It's the most difficult path to tread and can be painful at times but worth it in the end as the rewards are priceless.

This is the sort of awe that gets me to kneel. It's not what he says it's also how he says it. He's not lying.

i Find myself bearing deep witness to the truth he is saying. I can feel and recall exactly what he is talking about from my own experience, the truth sets you free but will burn the false away and that is dreadfully painful.

It's amazing watching Jordans mind unfold, breaking down everything he is saying and going deeper into his own word than most of us could jump into. Listening to him drives me to believe that not only is he teaching us whilst he unravels his thoughts infront of us, but I think in a way he is also teaching himself and has in a way took himself in as a patient that he wants to psychologically help. He has essentially became his work and that's a powerful thing, it's a form of self awareness that should be adopted more often by us as individuals.

Even with my very limited intelligence I can easily say Professor Peterson has wisdom far beyond his years. For everyone’s sake I dearly wish more would listen to him and learn!

I love how even while he is super deep in thought and discussion, he is playing with his wedding ring. Brilliant mind but can still see where his heart is.

I get so much out of Dr. Peterson’s presentations. He is a very generous man to upload such a wealth of information .

I will say, telling the truth has been the greatest revelation of my life. I’ve grown so much from this ideal. And I feel as though, I’ve had changed from bad habits and awakened my own and others consciousness

I thought for most of my life I was gay and I was struggling with my sexuality for a long time. Until I realized the Truth about how I should be as a man. I am not my feelings, they are just by-products. When I realized this, it hurt me but then again that is the truth. Truth will indeed set you free but not without hurting you first.
