I love going inside churches to see the art and architecture. You should check out the ones in Santa Fe. You would love them. I have some of those churches in my Christmas music video I put out this year.
You are right about that. The immigrants that came to America knew how to make their churches feel like home. They are much smaller than their old country, but gorgeous none the less. 👍🏼
The detail in church glass is always amazing. I just am in ahh of churches and how they are built. Not terribly religious, but love the architecture. Stay well and safe.

Hi friends. It's so neat to see that this exists. We had no idea there were so many churches with such beautiful representations of the cultures from which the builders and painters came. Each of them has a story to tell, and we appreciate your sharing! Beautiful, and so nice to see the Christmas decorations.
St Mary's in Praha may be my favorite. But I really liked the last one (St Cyril and Methodius) as well. They were all very beautiful places of worship. Thanks for sharing this with us!

I grew up Methodist. Bill grew up a combination of Catholic and Methodist. He remembers his time fondly with his grandmother and mother in the Catholic church These churches were beautiful. Yes, it's hard to believe it's already Ash Wednesday. Easter is just around the corner. Bill and DeAnna

How amazing all the artwork in all the churches were. We think the second St Mary’s was our favorite church loved the stars on the ceiling and all the details. Also what a nice tribute to the fallen soldiers at the one church and how tragic to have so many men killed for such a small town. I’m having a hard time picking my favorite but I’m really drawn to the prayer chapel memorials at the second church, but I think our favorite may have been the last simply because JoAnn came and we were able to visit with her and get her history with the church. Made it personal.
@@LivingtheSilverLife that would have made it so special! The one church that rebuilt 3 times story reminded us of a scene from Monty Python- “When I started here, all there was was swamp. Other kings said I was daft to build a castle on a swamp, but I built it all the same, just to show 'em. It sank into the swamp. So, I built a second one. That sank into the swamp. So, I built a third one. That burned down, fell over, then sank into the swamp, but the fourth one... stayed up! And that's what you're gonna get, lad: the strongest castle in these islands.” 😂 😂 😂

In all the years I photographed weddings, I have seen some beautiful churches, My clients always loved the bridal portraits taken in there church. It's great to see people who appreciate there local churches and the artists who put there heart and soul into there work, thanks for sharing
Just so beautiful. The fine detail of the painted walls and the stain glass windows is immaculate. There is a wonderful painted church on the Big Island in Hawaii.
Oh, how neat. Have you been there? We didn’t find out about the painted churches until after we had been to Fredericksburg. We so wished we had known so we could have videoed and photographed it while we were there to add to this video. 👍🏼

Oh I love the cute prayer chapel that you shared it was so pretty they did such beautiful detail work on everything they did even if it was a small structure it was still put together with loving care and it shows in the architecture
