I noticed Anom has soft OPT, so I think a Paleo that summons anomalocaris/opabinia with itself as mat would be really good.

Sadly cards are 1 year in development...

They are making some new cards for trap mosters, that might help

@@alphashina Nah, the link requires continous traps, and since they do not treat themselves as traps, it has to be really specific. additionally, most Trap Monster support asks for the trap to summon itself from the S/T Zone

Yeah I play it like that too, with a small dinomorphia engine to transform low LP to big pressure

I want to try it with a small lab engine. What are your ratios?

@@Sparda900 3 Stovie, 1 Arias, 2 big welcome. Tried it with 1 big welcome, but the second one comes up pretty often. It's only okay to open big welcome, so 2 is a nice medium You can cut the Arias if you're not running any of the draw traps (reckless, etc)

@@ryanhall5360 Thank You!, I may try that. Is this in a 60 card paleo list? And do you include pot of desires in the deck? Or morganite? I feel like those cards would clash with the lab cards

@@Sparda900 Yeah, it's 60 cards. Sometimes it feels like the deck could go to 70 if I was allowed lol. Desires is perfectly fine, there's not really any conflict. If you banish both your big welcomes, it hurts a bit, but it's still completely fine bc stovie comes back so often. I never really liked morganite, and it's not necessary in this version, so I cut it. It's also nice bc you can fiend griefing send stovie if you've hit back jack already, and get your lab engine rolling.

I play this deck against tenpai. But I have 3 black goat. That helps a lot.

But tenpai is for the soyboys while paleo is for the chads.

Generally you don't care if they make zeus because your monsters are uneffected anyway

@@gamingsuperun Sure, but isn't it better that you just don't allow it in the first place? Like maybe you have a karma cannon set that you don't really want to go to waste? And how about monsters that plus you after they attack like the small white purrely or something like Hayate? What's the benefit of waboku?

​@@raphaelcheng2254 theres no reason. People simply forgot about threatening roar until tenpai csme out. And by "people" i mesn the like only 4 people that ülay paleo. Honestly no one played the deck until josh started in MD. Thats the besutiful part about modern YGO sure new decks are popular but sometimes old decks areent that powercrept or a re good in a new format and overlooked because we have 100s of new exciting archetypes to choose from. Also if you started plsying long after paleos rlease chances are you didnt know that was deck even back then. Fpr example I saw a guy winning at locals with Tellarknights??!!! Like whst? 4 of his opponents had no idea what the foal of the deck was or what to negate

​@@user-vl8ck4gz6wthere is actually a reason to run waboku, if you want to make your own zeus but are at 50 life points because of rollback you can waboku on your own turn, get the attack in, and then zeus them

@@winter945 great idea! Tho not sure how often that comes up? Though maybe tgats rly tge reason. How does the deck win anyways? You never die but I dont see anydamage and I feel like the deck lets your opponent freely build boards and recover. Theres no way you win by attaking with paleos directly for 10 turns and pray your opponent cant just out deck you by doing nothing and setting monsters

Raise to full height activates in the graveyard, threatening roar works going first against tenpai but you have to set it first.

you can use waboku on your own turn to get ZEUS for example if you are on 13 LP like Joshua but you need to attack for ZEUS summoning requirement without dying to battle damage

You can attack with a xyz under waboku into an opponents monster for a zeus play. The flexibility of waboku overall is way better, even so threatening roar of course is a better counter to certain effects relying on your opponents battle phase to occur.

waboku is activateable and has use on your turn but plays worse into kashtira than threatening roar. i mean fenrir doesnt do much against you but unicorn can be annoying
