i guess you should also invite Female players and also some of the para badminton players also ..please i would love to watch . than you Anders, vittinghus
It cannot be based on a coin toss for the draw to give a bye to a player in a group who has to play more! this is just common sense, but again since Anders gets the advantage, I guess he would relish in it.
Correction for the drawing rules for a group of four in men singles. In the rules already mentioned that seed 2 and 3 will have a group of four, a draw of lot will only happen for seed 3 and 4 to decide who will get the bye in the round of 16.
Anders gets a lil nervous in big matches and it shows in his body language. If only he could show more confidence and be a lil more attacking, he should do well..My dark horse would be Lakshya and Shi Yu to be the potential winner.Best..
watching this video after the Olympic the talking point was quite weird V: predicted SYQ for Gold (out) A: predicted VA for gold V: regarding ASY injury (drama with ferderation) the rest of the results were quite shocking as well Marin's injury was painful to watch
Waiting for your next episode and review/ opinion of the paris olympics such as: (1) taiwan's pair winning the men's doubles, (2) ASY's dispute w her national bodies (3) Marin's injury, (4) Antonsen match w LZJ, (5) lakshya not able to win despite huge leads (6) viktor's win and his somewhat annoying serve, (7) kunlavut trouncing everyone but struggled against viktor, (8) Lky's newborn (9) LSF and SYQ's early exit, (10) Olympic village n dining experiences. Thank you.
With Antonsen out of China Open, does that mean that we will need to wait longer for the next episode? Pl talk about: (1) The umpire's decisions/ quality of umpire,/ the net fault calls, (2) rising star T Miyazaki.
I think Shi Yu Qi wins MS, but hope it will be Viktor or Anders I think Chen Yu Fei wins WS, but really would like to see Tai Tzu Ying end with a gold medal Chen and Jia will win WD MD is impossible to predict, there are 10+ that can win any medal Zheng Zi Wei and Huang will win MX, but I hope Watanabe and Higashino make it to the top
@@ishpreetkukreja3605 I feel lakshya would do very well in this Olympics (not sure if he can get a medal), but he will definitely eliminate some big players in the process
My views and some clarifications - An Se Young is the winner of the French Open this year. - The favourite for Group B of Women's Doubles is Liu & Tan, not the Stoeva Sisters. - Can't believe that you did not mention Baek & Lee as one of the contenders for the Women's Doubles. They are, most likely, the ones that will give the two Chinese pairs the most trouble. - Qiong is pronounced as "chi-ong" - For Mixed Doubles, I do think Seo & Chae or Feng & Huang will win. Yes, Feng's form is very inconsistent, but when he does play well, they can rise to the occasion, as we have seen how they held their nerve to beat Zheng & Huang at the end of the deciding game at the Denmark Open last year. As for Zheng & Huang themselves, their recent form has been up and down, and they have messed up in the final of the last two major tournaments (Tokyo Olympics and last year's World Championships) Overall, it was an interesting episode 👍
As french guy, We would love to be as loud as you praise us, but the whole mood about olympics in france is really bad , they tripled prize for hotels, metro , public transportation. Usually for 2 session at french open I paid in total 90 e for average seat, here its minimum 90 for the worse seat and for 1 session. Im afraid it will be less full than during the french open.
The problem of the group D in MD is due to the BWF's gross error. All this could have been anticipated if the international federation hadn't been so stubborn at the beginning of May. This story has caused quite a stir in France, and it's really not good publicity for badminton. The BWF has shown great amateurism. It's only fair to the French pair, but they had to wait for the CAS decision to force the authorities to reinstate the players in the draw. Their preparation must have been very difficult.
Players who are going for the championship do not worry, how deep they can go in the tournament. So making a big deal about match placement will not impact a champion mindset.
My prediction : Men's Singles : Gold : Anthony Ginting Silver : Victor Axelson Bronze : Lakshay Sen Women's Singles : Gold : An Se Young Silver : PV Sindhu (manifesting) , hope she defeats the chinese Bronze : Carolina Marin Men's Doubles : Gold : Satwik - Chirag Silver : Kang - Seo Bronze : Liang - Wang In Women's Doubles and Mixed Doubles, China is taking the gold and Silver ; Bronze to the korean pair
@@alphaomega9387 Having a feeling, in previous two olympics, players upgraded their Bronze to Gold, so it can happen this time as well. Shi yu Qi would lose to Kunlavut whom Ginting can defeat to reach finals. Lee Zia is a choker and Ginting can beat Antonsen
Interesting how Toma Popov is rated -- I've always found him too slow on his feet to be effective. Have seen him live, and tbh rate his younger brother more. Having said that his younger brother has a lot of flaws too.
Lol.. satchi never won against Marcus & kevin they beat lee yang & wang chi Lin in group stage but did not qualified. & lee yang & wang chi Lin won tha gold medal.
As a Ginting fan, I hope so. Given his enormous speed and skillset, I find that when he is losing, it isn't so much his opponent who is earning the points but Ginting falling off the wagon and committing unforced errors, similar to Tai TY, when she has lapses of concentration.
These are the organizers (ioc and bwf) who setup a wonky system where the players (wd China vs Korea) would have had an advantage if they lost a certain match, and then booted them for trying to lose.
Regarding Carolina Marin, putting aside her grating shrieks and disrespectfut shuttle returns, her incredible offensive prowess and pace of play certainly puts her in the contention to medal again. What I find eerie is that even after marathon rallies where top opponents like yamaguchi and ASY are huffing and puffing, Marin looks like she's had a mildly brisk walk in the park. And as a longtime follower of road cycling, eyebrows must be raised, as they are given the current record shattering performances recently seen at the tour de France, when an athlete metaphorically whistles their way up while others are panting. (For those unfamiliar, Google Operation Puerto where Dr Fuentes was busted for having provided blood doping services to (primarily Spanish) cyclists, football (soccer) and tennis players.)
Genuine feedback : It looks like you guys don't follow all the 5 disciplines with the same enthusiasm. Clearly both of you focus more on the Men's events ( which is completely alright). If you want to do a prediction video of the olympics and not know who won the French open this year then that's not OK (in my opinion). F.Y.I An se-young won the French open this year. I still feel your analysis of the mens singles was great but maybe you need to read up more about the other events.
Sister you got really serious 😂 , they are doing this just for fun before Olympics . As anas has to focus more on Olympics and lately Hans was on vacation. So..
