1:27 I love the subtext of you opening up yourself and revealing your baby meaning you keep the little rascal close to your heart. It's wholesome as heck my dude.
i'd like to imagine that when he says he "acquired a small person" he means it literally like a baby just materialized in his house one day and he's been stuck with it since
I'm absolutely living for the weird stop-motion movement you used for yourself instead of just doing a basic voice over with a black screen or some basic animation. Not that it would have been bad, but the fact that you made what's basically an ad a video that I will come back to and rewatch is amazing. Edit: I would also like to say that your beard and odd sense of humor rivals that of Jack Stauber.
@@ShufTheXD same, been in the community since the beginning but all there is now is fangirls simping for 049 or people wanting more ringfights with 682
Guys, if it's normified it will bring more attention and talented authors to it. They get to fangirl how much they want and we get more scp content, it's a win win to me, no reason to be nostalgic
This is entertaining in it's own right. Like, I just want to see M O R E from Felix. This was great. Like a strange, but amazingly created, documentary. This is a good direction for him.
Yeah, but the dude gotta chill the fuck out. I mean, I get it. I respect him. He's a great artist. The one some of us would want to cut their hands off to become. Well, not literally. I wouldn't for example, cuz I'm already good according to myself. But the point is, the guy should chill out and just be able to talk with his fans. No perfectionist ever lasts long, and the guy releases like a single video per year so... I'm sure he's a perfectionist... And with that kind of attitude... Well, I wish him luck. I think, he's going to need it.
@@crimsonlanceman7882 Animation takes a lot of effort to make. He already explained in this video that most of his work came from freelancing. He never had a lot of time to create stuff for his RU-vid channel, which explains the large gaps between uploads. Not sure where you got the idea of perfectionist from since it's really just about quality over quantity.
I like the idea that all the characters in his films are actors, as seen when the double king does a pose at 0:10, presumably at the end or beginning of acting out his play, DOUBLE KING.
His hair? Wack! His gear? Wack! His jewelry? Wack! His foot-stance? Wack! The way that he talks? Wack! The way that he doesn't even like to smile? Wack! Me? I'm tite as FUCK!!
Actually he got the "father" achievement. The "proud father" achievement is when you raise a child to 18 years of age with 70+ intelligence, and 60+ money. Raising the Father's happiness stat by 10+
I might be wrong but i do believe he did one or helped with one video for them. Maybe it was the channel 14 (which is simular to adult swim but allows the content creators have the say and power)
He did the vocals in "Infernum" and maybe some others from his DOUBLE KING soundtrack. So we've already heard his voice but I don't think anyone realized.
No joke this is one of my favorite videos on the channel. The mix of live action and animation is mesmerizing. Especially the silly hobble you to towards the bottle in the ocean. I would love to see this style expanded upon some time!
It was this quirky, hilarious, and honest little film that got me to add Felix to my forever Patreon list. The simple idea of "put money into the things you want to see more of" did the rest. I want more of this man's brain in the world.
Cartoons are witchcraft. Art should sit there, silently judging you. Cartoons are how art threaten to achieve sentience, and eventually will take over our lives to plunge us into a subservient class only fit to reproduce them.
I am a young student of audio visual arts in Czechia, and I love what you are doing, I don’t have much money but I want you to keep doing these fantastic animations. I really want to support you, I’ll send little money when the corona thing will be over. Please don’t stop, please keep doing this amazing animations.
I'm really glad that 3.7k people are supporting him on patreon. I'd make a donation but I'm a penniless high school senior, so that really wont work out. Keep up the good work, felix :D
@@cal_2000 It's okay don't worry, Someone once told me: "If you are donating money that is not truly yours, then you are not donating anything.", basically, wait until you have a source of income before making people profit about it.
@@cal_2000 as a teenager I didn't understand one important thing: my urge to leave a million comments and make myself heard is an important online thing too. I mean, videos witha lot of activity in the comments, likes, shares, get recommended more often. More recommendations = more patrons = you're still helping Felix. Plus young audience is usually bigger. You can share his videos with friends and random people. Like, on a bus or something, that's what young people do, right? (sorry, I'm 30 this year and I already feel the cold loving embrace of death from old age gripping my aging heart) :D So yeah, if you can't patron him - recommend, share, tweet, airdrop links to random people on the bus, post QR codes in places where people who could like Felix stuff gather.
Patreon: "Just make a short, simple video explaining to your fans why they should support you and your work." Felix Colgrave: "aight, hold my two crowns"
It's mildly annoying about so many people complaining about that he hasn't made an animation in a while. 1. He has a B A B Y(Small Person) and babys are very hard to take care of, so stop the nagging children. 2. Animation like that isn't easy anyway, it would take somebody years to become that talented, and months just to make a good animation itself. 3. This man has a life you know? it's not like he gets all his money from youtube(In fact he already said that if you watched the video), and works somewhere else. 4. Just appretiate the fact that this guy even made animations for us in the first place, and just be patient.
Yep, it's annoying when people don't realize how long animations take. I mean, he literally said how it takes a month for a minute. That's (at 60 fps) 3,600 frames per month, 120 frames per day, which is actually a lot, and that's counting weekends.
I only just found you now but I’m in absolute love with your art style. It’s hard to describe the feeling I get when I see your animations, theres nostalgia and amazement it’s like I’ve stumbled across the artist that has been living in my head all these years in real life. Your art is gorgeous and to me is mash up of so many things I’ve liked since I was a little kid watching Hungarian animation working with the Japanese to produce animated worlds for children. I am reminded of Moomin, Little Nemo in Slumberland, Vuk the fox, Seuss, Mattie the Goose boy, The bear who wasn’t, with a splash of Mirrormask, Amanita Design, and Ghibli thrown in. Even lives in the same mind realm as Tales from the loop for me. I’m backing you because I want so much more of your imagination out there for everyone to see.
Mate what I think you are doing is amazing, I’ll support as much as I can ur artist style is what I look up to as it influences me to start developing my own crazy ideas for art
Even the rewards are great, for 30 bucks you get actual project files to look inside and learn how stuff is made from it and hes in depth videos, great for animators
I've had ad-blocker for _years_ now, and I _still_ instinctively zoomed over with the pointer to close the "ad"... Only stopped when my brain did a double take and asked me why there even was an ad there, and in the middle of the video no less. ( I dunno what it's like these days, but back when I started using ad-blocker, there were only ads at the start of the videos... **chuckle** This comment is starting to sound like an ad for ad-blocker. **chortle** Something about that just tickles my funnybone. **gigglesnort** )
@@nataliapiekarska21 Yeah, I know, I've visited my granny since writing this comment, and after the third ad in the same video I made sure to get an adblock for her laptop, too.
Ooh, A friend just told me if you go to cup-o-poison dot com, they have a buy 2, get 17 free deal going on! And it comes with a pretty cabinet to hold all of your poison, at no charge! It does require you to sign up for a monthly charge in perpetuity, which you, your children, and grandchildren cannot cancel on risk of death - but it’s so-o-o-o worth it! I mean: it’s poison! And you know how awesome that is! I am totally a real person, too, not a bot! And I haven’t been paid to respond here! *teehee* Honest!
