Isabelle, makes my day with her attitude and ability to speak her mind. She is a workhorse in the garden and appears so eager to get weeding. Percy as always is the dapper gentleman with a great sense of humor. Gerald is the spice of life with his smile and witty comments. You all cheer me up tremendously. Awww..that makes me miss having my bantams!!(Silkies, Pekins, and Silkie Pekin crosses) I ussually had a batch of chicks per year. One thing I must mention to you, from sad experience; make sure when you move the babies outside, that they are nowhere near where there are any ants, as i lost several one year, due to them being bitten my ants. Thier little bodies can not handle the poison from ant bites when so small.

None of the Patrons can see Philip and the chicks without mentally screaming “GRAB THE CHICKEN PHILIP!” Not to be rude…there was a Patron video where they tucked eggs (unsuccessfully it seems) under the broody chicken and Philip, encased in gloves, was reluctant to pick it up. Eventually “GRAB THE CHICKEN PHILIP” was repeatedly implored in between Stephanie’s gales of laughter.
