I’m Indian and live in Melbourne, Australia. I’m a Fitness Australia-accredited personal trainer and strength training coach. I’ve worked with many athletes over the years; a long story short, Aussies are tough to beat in any sport. The reason is that they’ve been taught toughness from schools; I train kids to older clients. I have a client who is four years old, who plays cricket, hockey, tennis, basketball and soccer each sport after school and one day with me. Then he goes swimming every day after school; I’m 100% sure he will play for Australia. So the answer is the grassroots system is fantastic, and parents focus on physical fitness at an early age.

Unbelievable, still in shock at what Maxwell did. He even had a really bad cramp, fell onto the ground and squirming. He also couldn't bend his knee so you could see he was batting in an uptight position👏👌

Cummins knock was also very important as he blocked the falling of wickets on other end and supported Maxwell.

People don't remember but legendary Kapil Dev played a similar innings against Zimbabwe in 1983 world cup. India was 19/5 at one stage. Most Indian fans have turned off their radios and some walked off the ground but those who stayed witnessed the epic innings of 175 from the Kapil Dev who refused to give up and won that match easily. India went on to win that World Cup in 1983 and as they say rest is history. The great Richie Benaud of Australia was in total awe and lamented many times that there was no TV footage available for that match because it wasn't covered by BBC.

1st time to me it feels like I had watched a fixed match . No one bowled wide line , wide yorker , yorker , Bouncers , hard lenght to maxwell , why ? Bowling wide and hard lines was a no brainer when its hard for maxwell to use his feets and what feels fixed is they didn't even tried to bowl there instead of that they gave him balls in his arc .
