Many a mile,I put in going to high school in Pennsylvania! Those G's could go like the wind!![ As an aside, the father and mother of those GG-1's were NYC P- motors, and New Haven EP's]! The history of the PRR goes deep, and thankfully the Norfolk Southern has a heritage unit,in PRR colors,as does NJT! Memories kept alive! Thank you 😇 😊!

I used to take the named trains from Penn Station in Newark to Lewistown, Pennsylvania, to catch the Fullington bus up to State College when I went to Penn State.

I love the Pennsylvania Railroad's express and limited trains, especially being pulled by the GG1s.

The K-4 Steam Locomotive Number 1361 was retired from making its final runs from South Amboy NJ to Bayhead NJ. and return. Does anyone know whether the Locomotive Changes from Electric to Steam and Vice Vera were done at one time or another at Union Interlocking on the North East Corridor? I know that there were Electric to Diesel Locomotives and Vice Versa changes there sometime in the past.
