Egg Lady.....you are a jewel! I was so tired of making eggs that had yolks that were green tinged....or that took 1/2 the white off when I peeled them... so I bought the steamer 2 years ago and have made dozens and dozens of steamed eggs and EVERY ONE has come out PERFECTLY and easy to peel. I can't believe that the process is as easy as it is. THANK YOU!!
I eat one "Boiled" egg every morning. I've used up a small portion of my cuss word vocabulary every time I shelled an egg. However, now that I'm using the tricks you have showed, I have had more than one occasion where my egg peeling yielded a single piece off egg shell. I'm now having to look to other areas of my life to keep my cuss word vocabulary up to date. I think of you every morning. Thank you.
Hadn't ever done it before, but randomly thought to steam a few hard boiled eggs for my sons, and I stumbled across your video. I'll never ever make a hard boiled egg any other way, these came out perfect. Soft as ever, and fluffy down to the yolk. Thanks for this!!
My success using your instruction about eggs continues. I've had several days of shelling my "Steamed" eggs that had peelings of a single shell. Every morning that I eat one of my "Steamed" eggs, I think of you. Thank you
I've already said it once but her method works so well!!! I've had two eggs now that pealed in two parts. I eat one ("hard boiled//// Steamed ) egg/day and being able to peel the eggs are important. GREAT VIDEO
wow, thank you so much, i just made steamed eggs how you said and, yep...perfect 'hard/soft boiled' eggs that are perfect and super easy to peel...thank you!
I tried the steaming per your recommendation. Did it work? I've had more than one egg that peeled in one piece with no wastage. Will NOT go back to boiling. Thanks a bunch.
the trick i use is, put eggs in cold water bring to a boil, boil 5 mins. cover remove from heat let stand covered for 15 mins......comes out perfect every time
In a family who were friends of our family, their teenagers didn't know how to prepare hard boil eggs. When the shell would not separate from the white, they'd pull the shell and white off together and throw it away, leaving only a yoke ball...The teenagers called it "yoke poppers", and that was the only part of the hard boiled egg they'd eat because the white came off with the shell. They'd say, "Wow! Yoke poppers. They're cool...Just pop them in your mouth". Some of them would toss the yoke ball in the air and see if they could catch it in their mouth...What a waste.
Well that's easy for you to say My grocer tells me that if I buy my eggs from him they WILL NOT TURN BROWN. So far I've never caught him in a lie about it.
