Hey guys, hope you enjoy the walkthrough of the camper trailer. If you did please consider liking, commenting, subscribing and follow the adventures on Instagram - @twox4x4 Music - Andrew Applepie
Very nice! I love this setup, you did a great job and I believe you've saved a lot of money which is a smart way to do nowadays. I refused to buy from RV Dealers, they are nothing but crooks, every RV they sell are way overpriced and if you noticed they don't have the small ones that are cheaper on the lots, all they carry is the most expensive one. Dirty crooks, I can't stand them. But I like what you did, save tons of money for sure! Keep it up my friend! 😊👍
Great video mate! Did you have to register the trailer if you are only using it for camping? Also if you did register, how was the process, was there much involved? Thanks and keep making these awesome videos 👍
Looks good mate, just wondering about, about the amenities, shower, toilet and I'm guessing when off grid you set up the solar blanket to charge batteries. Enjoy
Nice trailer conversion mate. Im a tradie that has a 7 x5 box with sides and canvas roof that fits queen mattres. We dust proofed ours with axle flip, 31 in tyres AT hitch and 12 v throughout. We're doing a 1 month loop stint of Sydney, Birdsville, Normanton Cooktown then Fraser and back, but you gave me a few ideas. Happy camping mate
Can I give you tips. Get soda stream, buy co2 2.5kg gas bottle and fire ext mount and hose adaptor. Next the flat mounts good. But I have used pipe. With a small pipe welded 45 degrees. Now it fits a 25watt oztrail camp light. Check lock your hubs video. High lift jack. I have made a longer handle with pins. Now I can winch, and use the handle as a ground steak for the oztrail light. Also check his video voltage reg and fridge cover.
Yeah cheers mate, don't know if I'll get a soda stream but yes fire extinguisher definitely on the list. Yeah trying to figure out the best place to mount my recovery boards atm not too sure where I'm gonna put them yet. I prefer having portable solar as I always park in the shade where I can so then I just pull my panel out to wherever I need it. I like bottle jacks which I have, as they take up less room and are a lot safer, and yeah I have a small wind break for my stove just didn't show it in the video. Thanks for all the input mate, hope you enjoyed the video, its always good to get other people's idea on things!
Check seek adventure for table wash tub, and solar panel bracket. You could do something on front with maxtracks and swing up removable solar panel. I have the same stove and made a wind break. If you fish, weld small tube on two star pickets, then you can you to surf fish and then use a two pegs and some old tin for your fire pit wind break. Have a look at ty Fenwick quick pitch tent mod.
Cool stuff! Thanks for uploading that. Hope you can get to use it soon! Just a quick question, I'm a noob but I'm wondering, all the woodwork inside is held by being the right size or did you bolt it in the trailer?
Hey mate, glad you enjoyed the video!! So yeah the wood is cut to fit into the support bars on the trailer so it doesn't need to be bolted in and it seems super solid. If u want I can get photos to show you
@@twox4x432 thanks heaps for answering me ;) and: aha! and you don't have any issues with that driving it around? like it doesn't bang or rub against anything? This is kinda what I wanted to do, but I have very little experience on the topic so yours is very valuable at this point :D
yeah bro it fits really tight so can't go anywhere, the weight of the fridge and everything holds it down with a good amount of weight aswell so yeah it sits in really good, you could always add some silicone or screws if you were worried but mine isn't gonna go anywhere 👌👍
