Good tips but one question genuinely : other good fitness influencers encourage keeping core engaged and posterior pelvic tilt, can you tell why the difference here…. Thanks in advance

Natural lumbar arch the point i missed 5 years before in your video that caused an injury and 2 years rest 😢 now I'm back again with 2x careful 😊

But isn’t arched back/natural lumbar curve contradict posterior pelvic tilt which is recommended in a lot of videos?

no, he meant in uncontrolled hunching, if its controlled like in a spacula pushup or a protracted pushup ur fine

Yeah. Keep a slight hunch throughout the entire movement. The most important thing is to not arch when you retract, not hunch more when you protract, and keep the elbows completely straight.

I'm 65 years old and my shoulders hurt when doing push ups so I tried your technique and low and behold it worked.

Disagreed about flared elbows. Obviously 90 degrees flared is not right. But a natural flare is best. Tucking elbows in isn't a natural position.

not sure but i know targeting the shoulders does anyone good so instead something i would recommend from personal experience and etcetera is bicep/supinated push ups as they really hit the shoulders aswell despite the/their name
