I feel like it's worth to bring up that in older versions, after beating night 5 mick mick would hold you, seemingly as if you're dead. Pretty interesting that it got changed
It's a continuity error, the intro cutscene takes place after the game's events. The psychiatrist even says "considering what you did to the place", referring to him burning down the cabin. Which means Jake got out of the Cabin while it was burning with MickMick/MOTHER trapped inside.
Some people have been saying about the extra cutscene, but im here to explain it into more detail. This is a huge spoiler so, if you have the guts and wits, try to get it or see it by yourself first, as this implies, if not outright confirms something so big you couldn't even imagine it, also Im kinda paraphrasing cuz it's a long cutscene, and I do encourage people to watch it by themselves even more with the 2.0 update cutscenes. There's an extra cutscene that gives more info on both Mother's Speech and on some loose threads on Oblitus Casa, By beating "True Nightmare Mode" in the custom night (All the toon + secret characters on the highest difficulty) you get greeted by a mysterious man wearing one of the old Mickey Mouse Gas Mask, this man is Henry, the same who was called for help in the previus game. His Speech at first may sound weird as he starts by rambling how "They always suffered the same fate" and how "He always was the one who got the worst of it", but then his rambles start making a bit more sense, he starts explaining how he was trying to find a way to stop all of this, even if it was just a small one, In here he explains that Mother is the one that led you in the cabin, and she kept you alive for no other purpose other than to torture you, and that, once he notced you still were lying around, he started writing the notes on the off chance you could break the loop, Which looks like you did by killing Mother/God. The greatest lore drop is the fact that... "All is canon" All those old versions, all those one-off games made by members of the team, all those unfinished demo's, all really happened in the lore, with Treasure Island (2020) being the last iteration of the loop... (If the Remake doesn't change that, dear god..) This explains mother weird dialogue fo her being there "even if you didn't recognize her" (which unironically shows a white humanoid body during this specific line, this being what Mother used to look while bing "GOD") and the whole "I always been here" and "All is me" parts. Since she was indeed a part of everything since the start.. since the day "Five Nights at Treasure Island" was in development for the first time ever... 2 extra things, in Treaasure Island (2020) Henry is Undying (The Mickey Mouse Mascot Costume), he is inside the mascot suit, he says it in this cutscene while an image of Undying covering his face, but following this and explaining further on the loop, when he exclamis how he has been cursed to die and die over again the older versions of Undying start appearing behind him, older versions that left really clear that Henry became Undying... This is why Oblitus Casa not only is a perfect sequel, but it is a perfect ending to a fangame that has had multiple iterations ever since it's orignal conception in 2014... (One more fun-fact, all Willie and (surprisingly) Mick-Mick at one point where the main threats of older Versions of FNaTI at one point, with both replacing Photo Negative Mickey in some older versions, so their inclusion in Oblitus Casa give a nice ending as all the suits and toons from all versions are put at rest in this final entry)
This game was definitely an unsettling experience. Definitely one of my favorite fan games. And I am very excited to see what’s in store for Nightmare Below Disney.
Oblitus Casa is one of the best horror games ambience wise I’ve ever had the pleasure (or displeasure, since I’m the freeze instinct kind of scaredy-cat, making it difficult for me to play it fully) to know. Ah, one tiny thing, the "she" in the Post Mortem night isn't actually Mother, it's Sadie. Aka, Ortensia. She's basically a time limit for how long you have to beat the Post Mortem... but she moves quicker if you stab Your Best Friend needlessly. Regarding Photo Negative Minnie... well, many of her original model's features were handed over to Impurity, and it would've been silly to make them exactly alike. I for one was very glad with the new design. As for Mother... well, this is all a bit complicated, but one thing must be made clear - the three Creepypastas that were the basis for these games are now canon to the games themselves. And this matters due to the Corruptus Effect. The Corruptus Effect is basically a dark twist on the whole "power of belief" thing. It's when widespread beliefs or thoughts, in this case regarding Disney, come to reality. The company already has its own dark corporate side, which is what fuels many of people's worst beliefs regarding them and their practices. That, coupled with any urban legends regarding things they tried to hide, or any abandoned areas they left to rot for seemingly no reason, cause the birth of a Corruptus. These Corrupti are created through the power of people's beliefs, thoughts and fears. For instance, the Photo Negative Mickey costume of the first creepypasta had its origins on all the controversies surrounding Mowgli's Palace, as well as the complaints of their working staff. Those negative thoughts then coupled with two dreadful notions regarding mascot costumes - the idea of a kid seeing a mascot actor remove its head (essentially the death of the magic surrounding the character); and the fears and issues of said mascot actors, such as the discomfort one feels while wearing it, or the myths surrounding Disney's treatment of them (one of them is that, should one actor pass out or die while wearing the costume, another mascot actor has to stay besides their corpse, act and pose with them, until the coast for them to move away from the public's eye). This, the Photo Negative Mickey costume was born. When it was born, it initially thought itself was an actor, trapped within a living and breathing costume, that stuck to its sores... only for it to realize he itself was the costume. It was an embodiment of all the discomfort a mascot actor felt. That's why it hung all the other actors on costume hooks - it didn't realize they weren't like it, and it thought they were just like him, living costumes. It also explains why it removed its head in the story - it also encompasses the traumatic moments where children see mascots remove their head, when actors remove them for a break when they think they're alone. Other examples of Corrupti include the Gascots, from the story Room Zero, which appeared when widespread panic at a Disney park during the times of WWII caused them all to move into a bunker when the bomb alarms were going off. They all disappeared into the room, and the Gascots, mysterious people wearing real Mickey gas masks, started appearing at parks ever since. The way I see it, Mother and all her children are Corrupti. While the Photo Negative Mickey toon might've appeared out of the popularity of the story about the original costume, and all the other toons soon followed when people started pondering about the possibilities of other monsters based on other Disney characters existing... Mother might've appeared due to all the mysticism surrounding Treasure Island itself. She is the island. And this is where we get meta. This mysticism technically has its basis on all the stories surrounding the place... as in, all the games made about it. All the previous versions of the first game, all the spin offs. Everything. It's all canon. Mother has seen them all play out time after time. Jake, Henry and all the others are stuck in a time loop of sorts, caused by Mother and by their own desire to go to the island to learn about its paranormal activity. It's a vicious cycle that repeats itself slightly differently every time. But this time, Jake killed Hourglass, he killed her children. So she decides to put an end to him, an end to the time loop... but instead, I think he's the one who put an end to it, an end to her. I honestly can't help but feel bad for these entities. What happened to them was... well, essentially, it was the equivalent of monsters invading your own home, watching you eat and do your routine, observing you, poking and touching you, experimenting on you, and you being too afraid to do anything... until you get tired of being scared all the time, and fight back violently. Suddenly, they're the ones fearing you, you who just want to kick every monster like them out of your house, regardless of their true intentions. It's what fear caused by lack of mutual understanding and communication leads up to. Confusion and antagonization.
Oh man, the NBD part aged like milk lmao, but it's still awesome to see that we're gonna get a remake of Treasure Island to be on par with the quality of Oblitus Casa 2.0

However, as an avid fnati lore hyperfixiator, i would like to explain a few things The toons were created by the corruptus effect, MOTHER merely adopted them - They are not costumes, they are creatures made of ink from drawings (like how Belial forms) - Undying is not a toon, it is a costume, and not made of ink, thats why it didnt get fused with Hourglass, it physically cant MOTHER didn't turn into MickMick, she posessed him, he was already a living toon before night 5, he just didnt show up (you can hear him talking in the background during MOTHER's voice lines) There are extra cutscenes for beating true nightmare mode in both games, i wont spoil those, but they explain some more things, go check them out also new hourglass design rocks wdym
Since you seem to know the lore, whats up with the face? why does he exist? to me it seems like he doesnt fit in with the others at all and he didnt even become a part of Hourglass. and also the realistic eyes look very abnormal, is he even a toon?
@@rogue_no he is a toon, and he seems to be the most sentient and self aware one (maybe the oldest?) we don't really know why yet. That's why he didn't become part of Hourglass, or didn't obey MOTHER at the end of casa. Honestly we don't really know much about him, all we can really do is speculate. He might be connected to some bigger event we dont know about yet (because according to Addendum: Discovery Island, toons reflect events and behaviors) (the remake of fnati 6.0 that was just announced is gonna have more lore stuff, so it might explain!) He exists for the same reason as the other toons, the mass belief of a character corrupted by Disney's greed, and perhaps maybe some tragic event occuring The eyes are from Henry. He just took his eyes.
A correction: MickMick is not a toon. According to the wiki, he's a Corruptus manifestation of the island. This is supported by his fleshy appearance as opposed to a Toon's inky appearance (you can see veins and bones pressing against his "skin" in both phases). Mother taking control of MickMick is still accurate. I'm really curious about Mother still. I don't want to know everything about her for the sake of mystery, but I would like if they expanded on what she is, and where she came from.
@@NebulaCloud2 The thing about that is it implies she was the one responsible for creating the Toons, when she explicitly states she adopted them ("I took them under MY care"). I do think she's connected in some way to the Corruptus, though I don't know how. She's such an interesting character to theorize about.
Oblitus Casa is probably one of the best fnaf fan games ever made. I LOVE THIS GAME SO MUCH. The creepypastas, Night 6, Post Mortem Custom night, and how balanced it is. This game is fucking difficult though. I love your videos!
This was a very good sequel to the series. I'm excited to see the third title "Nightmare Below Disney" when it releases on halloween Edit: welp Radiance really play us on fnati "3". At least the first game is getting a remake
dude, the only issue was the original tunnels and man, went from a hot mess to genuinely one of the most terrifying things ever. also for Pete, he prays on order of operation. most will think light>find>scare is the best way to handle the face, Pete just says no, find>light>scare is the best way to handle both at the same time.
One of the most well developed FNAF games alongside FNATI/Oblitus Casa is Five Nights at Wario's. I really liked the effort put into the stories and mechanics, especially FNAW 3 where there are variety of mechanics.
Also, there seems to have been some sort of update to the first game on it's Custom Night, adding a "S_i_i_e Mouse" mode that distorts the screen when selected, but I haven't seen any gameplay concerning it. Also, good that you used the cutscenes of the recent update. Before the update they were confusing, in a "Dont show, Dont tell" way
This video opened my eyes on Mother. Before, I didn’t understand why she lashed out at us. Now, I understand clearly- she was toying with us through a bunch of timelines(read: all the FNATI games, whether finished or not), seeing us as no threat…untill we burnt her first generation of kids to death in Night 4 of Obucus Casa. Her children perished at our hands because she underestimated us. That’s why she deals with us personally on Night 5- she sends the second generation away so they can’t be killed as well. ….but the name Mother….as in Mother Nature?
I think the reason PN Minnie's design was changed was because A: Impurity already used a similar design and B: The new proportions better match PN Mickey. I personally love the redesign, though I can get the disappointment.
The fnati game and this one are some of the best fnaf fangamew out there i loved the unique gameplay choices in this game and the lore personally i thought the mother character was a terrifying and intimidating final villian for the 5th night i hope the next game lives up to the first 2 seince so far they havent missed with these games I personally dont consume lore that often so yall can just bicker about lore but yea this is honestly an amazing fangame a 10/10 fangame i loved it
Great video! Since you're interested in the lore, the Toons were most likely created by a "Corruptus" effect which gives life to objects or concepts. In the original Abandoned by Disney creepypasta, the sentient Photo-Negative Mickey costume is a physical manifestation of a Corruptus that targeted Mowgli's Palace. I believe Mother has been on the island since before the Corruptus, and may even be conceptually tied to it, and that she adopted the lost and confused Toons as her children. I like your idea that she may have been trying to make more Toons using the drawing board in the Pirate Caverns. 8:00 Just a small correction: The "she" the game is referring to is Sadie. If you take too long to get a head or stab the doll too many times, she comes and kills you. I also mistakenly thought the "she" was Mother first time too because Sadie's jumpscare is ironically so similar to Oswald's that I thought they were the same character. On a side note: My theory about post-mortem is that it takes place inside Hourglass's mind, since all of the toons that make up him are there, and post-mortem disappears past night 4 (the final night before Hourglass burns).
Me personally, I always though the entity MOTHER was some kind of demon. Not like your typical grinning evil demon, more like a powerful entity that does not have any holy power, therefore making it separate from any of God's power. But that doesn't necessarily mean that a demon is inherantly evil. At least not in this interpretation. Anyway, I believe that Disney (be it the man or the company) made some kind of agreement with this entity. Disney would build a park here and give this entity (Mother) the power of creation and life through drawing and art and Mother would protect the island and ensure prosperity. However, thanks to the dark rumours circulating about the place and all the locals causing development of the island a lot of problems, Disney ultimately decided to just up and leave mid-development and leave everything behind to be forgotten. Hence the iconic lines "Abandoned by Disney" and "Abandoned by God". While this did protect the Disney brand, I imagine that the entity MOTHER was not too happy about it. But, even still, she used what Disney had given her - the power of creation. But she couldn't create life in her own image. She had to base it off of something. She would have to use reference for what she already has to create life, hence why all of her "CHILDREN" are distorted and twisted and imperfect versions of already existing characters from Disney with Inverted Mickey literally being some kind of reversed and perverted version of himself which the inverted colours symbolise. Those drawings in the vault are what I believe Mother uses to help create her children with her own power and the reference material of the characters Disney gave her. Then Disney contacts the paranormal investigation team to discretely see what's happening on their island to keep Disney separated from the island while also being able to find out what has become of it or possibly even being able to see if anything can be salvaged. Then, of course, everything in the game transpires. It turns into a story of corporate greed trying to control the forces of nature and how that can create an evil unlike any other. The most innocent evil there can be - an evil that did not even want to exist to begin with. This evil was abandoned by its partner and its partner's promise, abandoned by the ones who could promise them a future. This evil was most certainly abandoned by all things good in this world, abandoned by the lord and foresaken to live out a worthless existance as imperfect monsters. The most innocent evil, evil abandoned by everyone and everything. Abandoned by Disney and abandoned by God.
At 36:18 I think it was Walt Disney himself because who else knows how to draw like that and he must have stayed in the cabin as a temporary shelter until his creations came to life
i remember the tunnels section before the uptade, it was more exploitable than the new one, because you only had to move from room to room just to avoid the hourglass, i like the new tunnels because it's more active and interactive than the old one, plus it feels more real (though it's harder and stressfull when you stay like an hour of game overs to get to the exit). PS: sorry for bad writing of some words i'm not from any english speaking country.

I just love how Hourglass went from imitating the original Toons voices to have a whole new personality They try to gain your attention, thinking you are Mother, trying to discuss "something"

I dont think you burn the cabin down. I think it has to do with mother staying out past day break to try and end you outta rage for you taking out hourglass. Theres a reason it says. "the monsters have return to the darkness." or something similar after each night, they cant be out during the day, which is also a theory I have. Case point being Hourglasses reactions to the light during the tunnel mini game, and the lighter /closet light, How instead of a hunting predator, it acts as a small scared dog with its tail between its legs. The light hurts them, they FEAR the light it is the only way they can be stopped. These creatures slink as SOON as it rises, If anything if this was the case, it wouldn't be cheap and would be tough to find but Id get some UV lights, place em in all places they could attack, sure mother would only be slowed down but it could repel these beasts back. If it hurts them, makes them cower, or if it can bleed. It can be beaten.
My theory is that he is Mickey Mouse and MOTHER is Mickey Mouse and this along with getting some eyes made him have an existential crisis and become self-aware (the rest of the toons think they are still in their cartoon, and their senses are terribly limited)
Fun fact: FNaTi gettinf it final remake coming out sometime in 2024/2025 it called FNaTI 6.5 which going to be a bigger and better version of FNaTI 6.0

seems like they improved a lot since the video of uhyeah or someone else cause they didn't need to complete the post-death minigame on the first night and there was no map and the rooms were just the same plus you needed to click in the direction to tp there
Let me flat out say it. Oblitus Casa is one of the best FNAF fan games ever made. Its game design, ambience, and storyline compliment each other perfectly! There is so much you can do in a single game, and the hardest challenges here are actually consistent and lackluster of RNG.
You forgot mention shade goofy and ortensia :/ ,shade goofy will appear in the halls and you need to flash him ,and ortensia is the time limit of the post mortem section
