Last week(early June 2024), I was invited on a press trip to a group of islands just of the coast of Cornwall, SW England. Not a lot of people know about the Isles of Scilly and it's white sand beaches. I check it out in this video including things to do, see, where to stay and how it's like. My work colleague was born there and said I should holiday there as its beautiful, when I checked the prices, it was kind of expensive, I felt it would be less expensive to travel to Europe and the weather is more likely to be hot, the UK summer time is too unpredictable... But no denying that its a picturesque location.

Glad you had the opportunity to enjoy some of the Islands On Scilly. It is was of our favourite places. My husband's first visit was when he was 14, he went with a friend and his friends Parents, staying on Bryher, which is very rustic and wild, but captured his heart. To this day it is still his favourite Island. I went for my first visit with my husband in 2005, we stayed two weeks on St Mary's and travelled and explored the Islands as much as we could fit in. The weather was glorious, we did have one day of rain, but actually we were quite grateful for it. It's surprising how quickly you get used to the slow pace of life there. Returning to the main land seemed very big and noisy.We have visited there three more times since. One day we hope we can go back. Lovely video.

I visited the Isles of Scilly in June and I absolutely loved it. And this video shows brilliantly the beauty of these islands are and a lot of what they offer. During an earlier visit I went snorkelling with seals. I totally recommend it. Thank you for a really well made and lovely video 😊
